We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate conservation professional to join the Trust and play a key role in the care and conservation of our outstanding churches, a fascinating and unique collection of highly listed historic buildings.

Churches Conservation Trust is the national charity protecting historic churches at risk, ensuring they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.

As a Conservation Projects Manager and a key member of the national Conservation team, you will work with experienced consultants and skilled craftspeople, with national and regional colleagues, volunteers, local partners and stakeholders to develop and manage a range of holistic, conservation and new use projects, from inception to completion, and providing professional advice and support to community led projects.  You will lead on all capital, conservation and maintenance, programmes in the region.

You will have expertise and specialist knowledge in the field of historic building repair and conservation, and a proven track record of project management (client side) in the heritage sector. You might be a Building Surveyor, a Conservation Architect, an Estate Manager, or a Project Manager, in this continually varied and unique role you will be working on some of the most significant historic buildings in the country. As you’ll be working on projects across the region, but not exclusively, it is essential you have a full driving license.

About the role:

Kinship are seeking to recruit experienced event co-ordinators with a whole range of skills and great energy to join our brand-new training team. They will be responsible for delivering this first ever programme of its type supporting kinship carers across England in their caring role. 

As a pivotal part of the team, you’ll be supporting delivery of high-quality in-person and online training events across England. You’ll be the first point of contact for the team and be experienced and responsive in dealing with enquiries. You’ll be used to working with suppliers and have proven experience of planning, co-ordinating and supporting the delivery of large events. You’ll bring significant working experience of using Microsoft tools, and other platforms and technology including Zoom. You’ll have a positive, can-do approach and the ability to work with initiative, being curious and always thinking ahead to anticipate need and deal with issues.

Collaboration will be key to your approach, and you’ll be detail orientated and be great at managing your time and priorities, and working to consistently high standards. You’ll plan, co-ordinate and support the successful delivery of all our online and in-person events, including being available and involved as needed on site. 

In this role, you’ll travel across England and may have overnight stays from time to time. We offer training and support to enable you to be successful in your role and we’re happy to discuss requirements if you have kinship caring responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing highly effective project management and administrative support to the training programme, including supplier communication, coordinating programme logistics and delivery of all relevant general and financial administration tasks, e.g. scheduling meetings, providing agendas, writing briefings, minute-taking, monitoring expenditure and organising events, training and workshops.
• Being the first point of contact for the team, for both internal and external purposes, communicating effectively with kinship carers, internal training team, external delivery partners and other stakeholders to coordinate and confirm all training activity.

Essential requirements include:

• Proven experience in event planning and management. You will need previous experience being responsible for organising large events (over 50 people). 
• Experience of developing and implementing administrative systems and processes that enable team effectiveness. You will need a minimum of 1 year’s administration experience.

The primary purpose of this role is to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive continuum of care, supporting young people in our local community who have had a more challenging start in life. Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. JOB PURPOSE

As part of the Brand and Marketing team, the Social Media Officer will lead on social media strategy for the organization, working closely with teams across Magic Breakfast to develop and diversify our presence on social media. Through innovative, compelling content creation the Social Media Officer will raise awareness of our work and the Magic Breakfast brand. The role's aims are to reach and engage new audiences and to strengthen brand advocacy with exisiting target audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop Magic Breakfast social media channels to grow an engaging environment for people with lived experience of childhood morning hunger and our wider supporter network.
• Develop and deliver effective strategies that optimise and grow our social media channels.
• Liase with both Magic Breakfast and corporate partners' design, PR and social media agencies to deliver effective and timely campaigns
• Monitor, improve (through testing and optimisation) and report on the performance and effectiveness of social media content and campaigns
• Write impactful and engaging social posts, sourcing approprtiate imagery and developing video content in collaboration with the Multimedia Producer.

About the role

As Project Officer you will play a central role in the delivery of INTRAC’s consultancy assignments and grant funded projects. This will involve coordinating short and long term projects, involving staff and consultants through our global network and clients around the world, ensuring effective and quality delivery. We are excited to be recruiting a School Partnerships Officer to join the School Partnerships Team. You’ll work to deliver the goals set out in Join the Club, our ambitious strategy for 2021-2026, specifically building partnerships with schools to deliver our  school facing interventions.

Your job will be to raise awareness of our programmes and transform expressions of interest into school partnerships. You will be responsible for a geographical area, creating a sales and partnerships plan and proactively reaching out to schools to generate opportunities and convert them into sales and signups. You will use your relationship building, influencing and selling skills to engage schools, trusts and networks to fulfil our charity mission in your area. If you are passionate about communicating with different audiences, quickly building relationships, and meeting ambitious targets that have a huge social impact, this could be the perfect role for you. This role will require you to become an expert on our programmes so that you can confidently discuss their features and benefits with key stakeholders. This isn’t about administering a process; it’s about understanding the needs of the schools and pupils in your area and how our programmes can support their priorities. You will be tenacious and empathetic in equal measure. You will also work to improve the efficiency of our internal systems, so teachers have the best experience communicating with us.

The role will report to the Director of School Sales and Partnerships. It can be based at any of our four Brilliant Club offices, located in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Cardiff.

 About You

The role will best suit someone who has:

• Experience of partnership building or selling a programme, product or service to schools, trusts, or other education sector stakeholders
• Resilience, tenacity and target driven motivation in a challenging marketplace
• A desire to positively impact social justice via charity sales
• Knowledge of UK education system- school, college and/or university sector
• Experience of using CRM systems, such as Salesforce
• A demonstrable passion for furthering The Brilliant Club’s mission.
