The role

We are looking for a new Office Manager to organise and coordinate administration duties and office procedures in the charity. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. You will be experienced with a variety of office software (such as email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties.

As the central point of contact for everyone within our charity you will have an overview of many different things, an impeccable working knowledge of the charity and its aims, and will “pitch in” wherever necessary to ensure the charity operates smoothly.

Essential Skills

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. You will work closely with staff at all levels, often having to mentor the charities’ managers to help them plan and manage their own budgets.

Are you an experienced Chartered Financial Accountant, with extensive experience working in Financial Operations (FinOps) within international charities? We are now seeking an experienced Waking Night Keyworker to oversee all aspects of our first stage housing during the night, based at our Newham, East London homes from 10pm to 8am. The main role is to support the residents in daily living activities of an evening and morning and be available for support throughout the night. Person specification

Experience and Knowledge

• Proven experience in an operations, leadership, or senior management role, ideally within the charity service delivery or healthcare sector, with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive organisational growth and reporting that demonstrates impact delivered. If you come from outside a support services background, you must demonstrate sound understanding of the regulatory and best practice requirements related to delivering support and/or healthcare services.

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive senior events manager to lead the delivery of our learning and events programme for a 12 month period.

This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in how we deliver value to our members through events and learning.

You’ll lead on providing tailored advice and support to Arabic-speaking individuals and families, focusing on the most urgent needs in the community — from housing and welfare to digital skills and healthy living. This is a rare opportunity to shape a new bilingual service within a respected community organisation with a long track record of delivering high-quality support to racially minoritised groups.

Main duties:

· Deliver a bilingual advice, information and support service in Arabic and English to members of racially minoritised communities in Kensington and Chelsea and neighbouring boroughs, with a focus on housing, utilities, energy saving, welfare benefits, employability, healthy lifestyles, support for disabled people and carers, basic digital literacy skills, and related issues (NOT including medical, legal, or immigration-related advice)  

· Provide non-regulated money guidance (NOT including financial advice services regulated by the FCA) after appropriate training

· Signpost or refer clients to other service providers as appropriate

· Maintain individual files on all clients and all action taken, using Advice Pro software

· Undertake appropriate training

· Provide digital literacy training or support to service users through workshops and/or one-to-one instruction, after appropriate training

· Arrange and facilitate workshops for service users, where applicable

· Work cooperatively with other staff and volunteers

· Produce regular updates on work for the Director / Deputy Director and the Management Committee

· Participate in supervisions, performance appraisals, file reviews, and internal meetings

· Undertake other reasonable tasks as required

Salary:  £30,880 to £35,907 per annum (plus £3,000 London Allowance if applicable)

We are recruiting for a Property Manager to join our growing Property team, we are looking for a committed and knowledgeable person to lead our property asset management. This is an opportunity to support women and children facing multiple barriers to safety and recovery, including survivors with insecure immigration status, experiences of homelessness or substance misuse. 

You will provide leadership in day-to-day service delivery, ensuring high standards of property management. You will oversee a portfolio of property for programme of works, lease and contract management and create a contractor supplier database. 

This role is ideal for someone with experience in property and contractor management who wants to make a difference for our survivors. You will be supported to develop your knowledge and skills with training and development opportunities.

1. Overall strategic development and management of the Community Hub Programme

Manage and develop the Community Hub providing activities, personal development opportunities and information for refugees and people seeking asylum.

Line manage ESOL Coordinator with supervision and appraisals supporting their CPD

Work with the ESOL Coordinator and volunteers to develop activities and client engagement within the project.

Plan and ensure delivery of short courses, workshops and events either in house or facilitated by partners.  Promote local activity and encourage client participation in line with the requirements of the Big Lottery funding.

Oversee project activities in all venues ensuring practical and active implementation of all policies and procedures, particularly Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, and Safeguarding 

Work with Volunteer Coordinator to support and supervise volunteers to a high standard.

Manage Venue bookings

2. Collaborative work with and engagement of project partners and other agencies in the borough

Source and work with project partners on successful delivery of activities and events within the project and promotion of wider activities in the borough

Build relationships to facilitate client progression and promote the organisation

Ensure up to date records are maintained on the RAK database

Prepare reports for the funders

Team responsibilities including attending staff meetings, dealing sensitively with service users and facilitating internal and external referrals.
