We are seeking a professional and proactive individual to join University of the Built Environment at a pivotal and exciting time. As the Deputy University Secretary, you will provide professional expertise and advice to the Deputy Vice Chancellor and University Secretary across a range of areas, including academic and corporate governance, legal and regulatory compliance, data protection, and risk management.

You will be an integral part of the University, working closely with teams across departments and fostering high-performing relationships whilst ensuring that governance structures and processes operate in a streamlined and consistent manner.

Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:

• Support and advise the Deputy Vice Chancellor and University Secretary in the development and delivery of highly effective academic and corporate governance
• Ensure that the policy framework within which the University works is fit-for-purpose, current and complete, and satisfies government policy and regulatory requirements
• Oversee Graduation, particularly relating to the format of the ceremony, speakers and VIPS, liaising with Academic Registry and Marketing
• Work with the Deputy Vice Chancellor and University Secretary in the planning and delivery of strategic priorities, offering confidential advice and project management to aid decision making and support project implementation

As our new Communications & Fundraising Coordinator, you will 

• Support communications, marketing, and fundraising plans to boost awareness and engagement in Coin Street’s work campaigns. 

• Build positive relationships with stakeholders and the public through engaging content (e.g. newsletters, social media, web, and print). 

• Assist with design and production of creative materials (e.g. posters, flyers, and booklets). 

• Help with fundraising and partnerships by researching opportunities, preparing applications, maintaining records, and providing admin support.

• Contribute to planning and promoting fundraising and volunteering initiatives, creating content and strengthening relationships.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following 

• Experience in marketing, communications, PR, fundraising, or bid writing. 

• Strong copywriting and content creation skills, including social media. 

• Knowledge of social media platforms, experience in fundraising or charity income generation, and skills in design or video editing using tools like Canva, InDesign, or similar are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

About the role: 

• Under the supervision of CGL’s Cluster Manager, you will lead the delivery of services that empower Children, Young People, and their Families to overcome issues around substance misuse.
• The post holder will provide line management to practitioners within the service and will be responsible for the operational management and strategic development of the service.
• They will always maintain high professional standards and ensure a Young Person focused approach in all aspects of delivery with the aim of reducing harm and promoting resilience.
• They will lead by example in creating a professional and young persons focused team culture focused on excellent service delivery.

What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate is a resilient PBS professional with experience influencing and supporting staff teams. You will be a compassionate, solution focused professional who has experience providing person-centred support for people with learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviour. You must have a good understanding of regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements, as well as legal frameworks such as the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and DOLS.

As an excellent communicator, both verbally and written, you will have the ability to work under pressure while remaining calm. IT skills and confident and confident use of computerised systems are required for this role. We are looking for someone with strong statistical abilities to be able to translate and analyse complex data.

For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.  We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035.

Supporting the event owner in the successful planning and execution of all events across the charity, including the Families, Supporter and Operations Teams at Scotty's. What is the overall purpose of the role?

At Youth Action Alliance (YAA), our mission is to support the personal and social development (their values, beliefs, ideas and skills) of the young people living in Kensington and Chelsea, enabling them to increase their resilience and skills in the present and promote their ambitions for the future.

Join Fumble as our new Programme Manager!

We’re Fumble – a bold, creative, and nationally recognised charity on a mission to make digital sexual health information relevant, engaging, fun, and safe for young people aged 13–25. We're five years in, growing fast, and dreaming big for the future. 

We’ve established an exciting programme of digital content co-creation with young people, to support them to successfully manage their sexual health, relationships, and mental health in the digital age, and we’re looking for a brilliant new Programme Manager to head this up.

This is an exciting, rewarding, and hands-on role at the heart of our small Sheffield-based team. You’ll lead the design and delivery of our projects – from the first sparks of an idea all the way through to measuring impact and celebrating success.

Here are some of the key deliverables expected from the role in the first 12 months.

1. Programme delivery - youth engagement

• Expand our recent successful pilot project: ‘Healthy relationships for young women and girls’. 

This will include:

• Project planning, session planning, promotion campaign to reach potential participants, facilitation of sessions and/or managing freelance facilitators, impact measurement, reporting.

• Deliver our annual cycle of engaging our Youth Advisory Board (remote, online delivery). This will include:

  • Planning and facilitating sessions via Zoom (supported by our Social Media & Comms Officer); impact measurement and reporting; safeguarding and managing the engagement and retention of members. 

2. Programme delivery - digital content and campaigns

• Delivery of our planned ‘Sexual health Q&As between young people & doctors’ campaign. This will include:

  • A series of video content, co-created with young people, for a social media campaign and series of associated website articles on the Fumble website. 

3. Supporting our safeguarding

• Supporting safeguarding at Fumble, as our Designated Safeguarding Officer. You’ll bring previous experience of effective safeguarding to help us build on our policy and practice. 

• This will include:

  • Conduct / manage annual safeguarding training for Fumble team & stakeholder groups

  • Maintain DBS checks

  • Communicate with external safeguarding agencies & expert advisors (where relevant)

  • Ensure safeguarding info is visible on the website and in sessions, and 

  • Ensure safeguarding continues to be embedded in a meaningful way across all of Fumble’s activities.

• Participate in the team’s development of our recently introduced impact measurement framework

Role Overview: Fundraising and Operations Director

The successful candidate will lead RLS’s income generation through our next phase of development. You’ll oversee our relationships with key funders, individual giving, our approach to major donors and our communications. You’ll work closely with the Management Team and trustees to set and implement fundraising strategy and highlight and manage risk.

As a member of the Management Team, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day leadership and oversight of the organisation, with involvement in decisions from strategy to HR, project design and many other aspects of our work.

Core Responsibilities:

Fundraising strategy and development 

• Lead the development and delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy to meet our funding targets and deliver our strategy.
• Meaningfully involve and guide the Management Team, trustees and Fundraising Officer in strategy development and delivery. 
• Develop new funding sources as appropriate.
• Ensure that funding sources fit with RLS’s values and our moral and ethical fundraising policy.

Organisational leadership 

• Work with the Management Team and trustees to lead on the delivery of RLS’s strategic objectives.
• Work with the Management Team to lead RLS, including finding creative solutions to issues as they arise and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation.

• Experience in shaping and overseeing individual giving campaigns 
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to find creative, innovative solutions and problem-solve. 
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to foster a team-wide understanding of and involvement in fundraising. 
• Have a strong commitment to advancing migrant justice.
• Be an active listener and a progressive leader. 
• The successful candidate will be required to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate (we cover the cost). A criminal record is not necessarily a barrier to recruitment but should be disclosed on application
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Fluent in English.
• Have lived experience related to migration and/or experience of and relationships in the migrant justice sector (desirable).
