First Step Trust (FST) is a charity that provides work experience, training and employment opportunities for people excluded from working life because of mental health problems or other disadvantages (workforce members).
Our approach is about giving workforce members the chance to overcome some of the difficulties facing them by getting them involved as colleagues. Role Description
As Volunteer Programmes Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects in the Decorate A Child's Life (DACL) and Adventure Play Partnership (APP) volunteering programmes. Your role will include managing the day-to-day operations for Volunteer Programmes, oversight of programme coordination, reviewing and updating procedures on a rolling basis and keeping good records, including financial monitoring and collecting impact data for regular reporting. ABOUT THE ROLE

ABOUT THE SERVICE
The Integrated Community Rehabilitation Services will enable people to receive a community-based offer and avoid admission into a rehabilitation unit.
The service is across 2 properties in Lewisham (one 8 self contained rooms, and another with 6 self contained rooms) located in close proximity to each another and both will be staffed 24/7 by a minimum of 2 Mental Health Recovery Workers (MHRW) at all times, at each site. This will include Shift Leads to support the Management Team.
These addresses are a short walk from each other and are served by good public transport links; close to Bellingham, Catford and Catford Bridge train stations, and close to bus stops.

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and sustain therapeutic relationships with residents and participants, providing practical and emotional support.

- Identify activity needs and wishes and support with participation and projects.
- Act as a key worker for participants and residents, contribute to the development of support plans, risk assessments, and subsequent reviews.

KEY CRITERIA
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with people with multiple complex backgrounds/needs, mental health, substance misuse, alcohol, and behaviours
- Previous experience creating co - produced support plans, key working, and care planning, providing appropriate interventions for service users
- IT Proficiency; ability to learn new software and basic Microsoft
- Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs
- Understanding and/or practical knowledge of the social and societal marginalisation that can be attached to people with various challenging backgrounds, mental health, addiction, exploitation, homelessness, and previous convictions
What we would like, but not essential:
- Understanding and/or practical application of key legislation regarding social care, housing, criminal justice, and mental health
- Ability to Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis

Our Roehampton is a registered charitable company that is embarking on an exciting period of development to establish itself as a community-led anchor organisation for Roehampton in the London Borough of Wandsworth.
You could be someone who’s managed a community organisation before or has experience of managing projects in a community setting and now wants to take on a leadership role. The successful candidate will have proven community development and engagement skills as well as be able to work strategically to lead and support the development of the charity; you will be equally comfortable supporting a group of residents with ideas for a new activity, hosting a meeting of the Roehampton Network and liaising with local authority or health partners on strategic matters. Royal Trinity Hospice is the local hospice for southwest and central London. We provide free specialist palliative and end of life care for people living in Wandsworth and parts of Lambeth, Merton, Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Richmond.
The organisation has recently embarked on a new five-year strategy and this exciting role will play a pivotal part in the overall delivery of the technology aspects. The successful appointee of this role will sit within a small but busy IT team and will be responsible for first class support of Royal Trinity Hospice’s customers and systems.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Senior IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support services to the staff, volunteers and service users at the hospice, and will support the IT Operations Manager in their day-to-day activities, ensuring the IT service is delivered to the agreed standards, as well as providing mentorship and team-leadership to the IT Support Technicians within the team.
What you’ll be doing
The primary duties of the Senior IT Support Technician include, but are not limited to:
- working independently and as part of the wider team, the post holder will be responsible for fulfilling service requests and resolving calls within agreed timeframes.
- supervise, mentor and provide escalated support for IT Support Technicians to provide ‘outstanding, effective and robust’ services and ensure service level targets are met.

Skills and experience required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as the role necessitates advanced relationship building and communication skills to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in a similar role in an IT team following ITIL processes/practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 OS.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AzureAD and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server OS, Exchange and Active Directory.
- A sound understanding of network and server infrastructure.
- Knowledge of IT security software solutions.
- Knowledge of various end user computing hardware e.g. Laptops, PC’s, Phones etc.
- Experience of Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp is desirable but not essential.
- Able to work to SLA’s and KPI’s.
- A strong ability to fault find customer issues remotely, in person or over the phone, ensuring that outcomes are documented within support tickets.

- Able to work with complex information, for analysis and review by non-specialist colleagues across the organisation.

We are looking for a Team Leader in our London and South East Region to lead a team of Support and Outreach Workers to recruit and train vendors, support them to increase their income through selling the Big Issue magazine and ensure that they have the right skills and community connections to achieve their wider aspirations.
Here at the Big Issue Group we launched the Community Interest Company (CIC) to widen the support package we offer to our vendors and people in poverty. This is enabling us to provide not just sales support for our vendors selling the magazine but also outreach services such as wellbeing, financial, mental health and employment support.
Taking a leading role in our belief of a hand up, not a handout you will positively promote The Big Issue in your local area. You will lead on building networks and partnerships to support the work of the Big Issue and build opportunities for the people we support. You will positively model this partnership approach with your team.
You will have proven ability to lead and motivate a small team to understand and meet KPIs whilst working with vulnerable people, understand homelessness and the issues involved in casework with vulnerable adults, including safeguarding and Have experience of carrying outreach work within community settings and be confident in lone-working.
The role is based at out Finsbury Park Head Office but will involve travel throughout the region on a regular basis in a company vehicle. A full clean driving license will be required for the role. You will often be traveling to different areas of the region during the week providing outreach support, team support and magazine deliveries.

Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. Our services include an Older People's Lunch Club, Contact Club, T’ai Chi for Elders, exercise and social sessions, and support online.
We work with older people to:
• Encourage active and independent living
• Reduce isolation and loneliness
• Improve well-being and prevent ill-health
• Enable older residents to be dynamic and contributing members of the Wandsworth community.
Key Objectives for the Elders Core Service Manager Role:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of dedicated part-time paid staff and volunteers, including a cook, support worker, minibus driver, and sessional workers.
- Day-to-Day Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Elders Core Service, including the lunch club, transport, social sessions, and overseeing the one-to-one work of the core team.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide a hands-on program that builds on older people's strengths and potential.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Support the monitoring and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the Head of Programme.
- Budget Management: Ensure the program operates within budget constraints.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Delivery

- Transport Management: Manage the transport offer, including route planning and pick-up schedules.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate activity records, registers, and casework notes for the core team.
- Outreach and Support: Conduct outreach work with older people in the community, oversee home visits, and manage a small caseload.
2. Staff and Volunteer Management
- Recruitment and Line Management: Recruit and manage the Outreach and Support Workers, Lunch Club Cook, and relevant social activities workers and volunteers.
- Performance Management: Use performance management and quality systems to monitor and evaluate the project's work and processes.
3. Relationships, Communication, and Networks
- Member Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with elder members.
- Communication: Oversee communication for the Core Programme, including newsletters, activities calendar, annual reports, and social media platforms.
- Meetings: Attend meetings on behalf of the Core Programme as required.
4. Finance
- Budget Management: Manage project areas to budget and maintain financial records as agreed with the Head of Programme.
5. Other Duties
- Professional Development: Participate in regular management supervision and annual appraisal. Identify job-related development and training needs.
- Professional Conduct: Professionally undertake roles, maintaining a high-quality standard of work in line with KLS's aims, values, and ethos.
