An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Lead on addressing Gender-based Violence and Harassment to oversee the implementation of ETI’s programmes to address gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH) in global supply chains. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and ensuring the delivery of two parallel programmes in Apparel & Textiles supply chains, and Food, Farming & Fishery supply chains. This role will also support the delivery of ETI’s gender strategy through the coordination of prioritised activities.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. The Services Manager will be the key operational lead for the Alliance, and oversee successful delivery of housing casework services to young people fleeing violence and exploitation who are referred in. You should have experience of working in services that support young people fleeing violence or who are impacted by the criminal justice system, and have a solid understanding of housing options for young people under 25. You should be exceptionally well organised and have excellent partnership management skills.

Salary: £37,024 - £41,600

About the role

This tole is based in Cumbria. Turning the Spotlight is a busy service supporting families experiencing domestic abuse including perpetrators. You will manage case workers and facilitators in our dedicated healthy relationships programme.

As a Team Leader you will:

• provide leadership, advice and guidance to your team
• monitor the progress & quality of support delivered to service users
• develop your team, addressing any individual development/performance needs, setting both individual & team objectives & undertaking annual appraisals
• provide safeguarding advice & guidance as required
• promote effective communication channels including coordinating & facilitating regular team meetings, sharing feedback & highlighting best practice
• manage external project specific work & relationships as required

You will need:

• Experience of managing & supporting a team; including performance management, one to ones and staff development
• Experience of supporting victims and vulnerable people
• Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection requirements
• To be able to work without direct supervision, prioritising effectively to deal with competing demands
• Good communication, negotiation & advisory skills, both written & verbal when interacting with a range of agencies & individuals

Royal Trinity Hospice is the local hospice for southwest and central London. We provide free specialist palliative and end of life care for people living in Wandsworth and parts of Lambeth, Merton, Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Richmond.

The organisation has recently embarked on a new five-year strategy and this exciting role will play a pivotal part in the overall delivery of the technology aspects. The successful appointee of this role will sit within a small but busy IT team and will be responsible for first class support of Royal Trinity Hospice’s customers and systems.

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Senior IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support services to the staff, volunteers and service users at the hospice, and will support the IT Operations Manager in their day-to-day activities, ensuring the IT service is delivered to the agreed standards, as well as providing mentorship and team-leadership to the IT Support Technicians within the team.

What you’ll be doing

The primary duties of the Senior IT Support Technician include, but are not limited to:

• working independently and as part of the wider team, the post holder will be responsible for fulfilling service requests and resolving calls within agreed timeframes.

The Programme Manager is an exciting and influential role at RCPCH Global, a specialist unit within the College, in which you will lead the management of our maternal and child health programmes in Nepal and Myanmar, with some support for our work in Rwanda. Based in our London office, you will oversee the implementation of the programmes, including the delivery of high-quality programme activities.

As Programme Manager, you will monitor and manage all financial and budgetary aspects of the programme in compliance with donor requirements and take the lead on all programme reporting to donors, maintaining and ensuring high-quality programme monitoring and evaluation processes are adhered to.

Crucially, you will be responsible for liaising with local programme counterparts and stakeholders in the field, which may include regular field visits. You will also take the lead on the recruitment and management of long-term programme volunteer clinicians, as well as short-term advisory consultants, for the programme.

In addition to wider donor liaison, you will help develop new programme grant agreements with a preliminary focus on UNICEF and the James Percy Foundation, as well as promoting RCPCH Global activities to external stakeholders.

Suitably qualified in international development, public health, international and global health, health systems strengthening and child health, or with equivalent work experience, you should have excellent project/programme management skills and have a background in a relevant international/development management or implementation role. 

With demonstrable experience of designing, initiating and leading complex programme development processes, including with senior government counterparts, local partner organisations and international and multilateral donor agencies, you should have a significant understanding of budget management and financial reporting, including to bilateral and multilateral donors.

Previous experience of successfully managing large complex programmes, including supporting field-programme teams both remotely and in the field, within the international development and/or health sectors is essential, whilst experience of working in developing countries would be desirable.

Although based in London, this role may include some travel to Nepal. Additional travel to Rwanda as part of support role may be required. 

RCPCH Global is a unit within RCPCH which designs and manages a range of international projects and programmes to improve neonatal, child and adolescent health, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Our programmes use teams of skilled clinicians and other health professionals to work with counterparts in targeted low-income countries to train and mentor doctors, nurses and other health workers, as a means of helping to build the capacity and quality of the health systems in those countries. 

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Additionally, through a variety of activities, the College influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community. 

The RCPCH has more than 22,000 members and fellows and employs around 200 staff, most of whom work in our London office in Holborn. We have smaller offices in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

About You 

• You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to support communities and individuals who would benefit most from energy advice and support. 
• You be able to plan and deliver engaging and informative energy support workshops within local communities, tailoring content to meet the diverse needs of attendees. 
• Showing empathy and being able to respond positively to change while being able to deal effectively with conflicting priorities will allow to succeed within this role. The service will help customers through their unfair extra costs and additional vulnerability to fuel poverty. 
• It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office Products and are confident user of digital technology demonstrating a positive approach to the adoption of innovative products and tools. You will be able to track and evaluate the impact of your community sessions and one-to-one interventions, adjusting strategies to improve outreach and support effectiveness. 
• You will bring drive and enthusiasm to your role and can demonstrate that you care passionately about improving the lives of disabled people and their families. It is desirable that you have a good knowledge of Energy and Utilities advice. If you do not already have the qualification, you will be trained to a Level 3 Award in Energy Awareness.

• Manage and optimise our people systems, enhancing the functionality of our systems and processes, and resolving issues as needed to ensure a seamless ‘user experience’ for our workforce.

WHAT DO I NEED?

The key skills we’re looking for in this role are:

• Significant experience of working with people systems (HRIS, ATS), including trouble-shooting, making improvements and implementing required changes and updates.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to extract, collate and manipulate data from a variety of data sources.
• Proven experience of analysing and interpreting data and disseminating findings and recommendations in engaging ways.
• Experience in using data visualisation software (e.g., PowerBI).
• Demonstrable experience of making improvements to processes and systems.
• Project management skills with ability to deliver cross-functional projects through effective management of internal and external stakeholders.

The post holder will help to champion and manage the PAPYRUS brand and support the delivery of our projects and services through developing engaging and targeted content. They will act as the day-to-day lead on our social media planning and scheduling, as well as blog writing and storytelling.

What you will do:

Lead on the PAPYRUS social media planning and scheduling, utilising a social media management suite such as Hootsuite, or similar.

Develop the charity’s online presence by exploring new opportunities and channels to appeal to different audiences;

Produce creative designs and artwork for print and digital requirements, utilising in-house design tools and software (including Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva);

The Community Energy Team Leader will lead and manage a team of Community Energy Advisers, delivering high-quality energy support sessions in local communities. The role involves empowering individuals and families through workshops and one-to-one support, with a focus on assisting those facing challenges with their energy needs.

The role 

In this role you will be:

• Leading, managing, and engaging a team of Community Energy Advisers, providing them with support, guidance, and direction to ensure the effective delivery of energy advice and support services.

About You

• You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to support communities and individuals who would benefit most from energy advice and support. 
• You be able to plan and deliver engaging and informative energy support workshops within local communities, tailoring content to meet the diverse needs of attendees. 
• Showing empathy and being able to respond positively to change while being able to deal effectively with conflicting priorities will allow to succeed within this role. The service will help customers through their unfair extra costs and additional vulnerability to fuel poverty. 
• It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office Products and are confident user of digital technology demonstrating a positive approach to the adoption of innovative products and tools. You will be able to track and evaluate the impact of your community sessions and one-to-one interventions, adjusting strategies to improve outreach and support effectiveness. 
• You will bring drive and enthusiasm to your role and can demonstrate that you care passionately about improving the lives of disabled people and their families. It is desirable that you have a good knowledge of Energy and Utilities advice. If you do not already have the qualification, you will be trained to a Level 3 Award in Energy Awareness.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving forward the charity’s service improvement priorities to improve health and care services for people with Parkinson’s.

Using your quality improvement expertise to support health & care professionals with projects and programmes, equipping them with the latest tools, resources, evidence and data to develop and improve services for people with Parkinson’s. 

You’ll support the development of a vibrant regional network, working in collaboration with the Professional Engagement team and the regional clinical leads. You’ll also work with health and care professionals and Parkinson’s UK colleagues to respond to any threats to Parkinson's services and effect positive change.

This position is part time, working 28 hours per week and will cover the North East of England and Yorkshire regions.

Now, nearly half of them are - or recently have been - sleeping rough and with the numbers of young rough sleepers in the capital growing at an alarming rate, New Horizon Youth Centre has had to take decisive action to unlock support and housing for this group. The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London. You will need to be strategic in approach and an excellent relationship builder. You will act as our lead colleague on relationships with the Greater London Authority and London Councils’ rough sleeping teams, working with them to ensure our learning and insights inform policy and ultimately open up access to emergency support for those under 25. Alongside this you will need a keen eye for operational detail, have experience of delivering homelessness services, and be passionate about piloting new solutions to prevent homelessness among young people. More than anything you will need to champion what young people can achieve, be committed to collaborating with others and determined to find a way.

AIM OF ROLE:
The aim of the requalification caseworker is to work with clients that apply to our requalification, loan and employment programme. This includes processing loan applications and conducting loan interviews, loan administration, client casework and supporting relationships with professional bodies. You will develop learning plans, attend sector-specific events, network to build a robust toolbox of support for clients, research pathways and offer advice and guidance to prospective clients, current clients and other programmes within RefuAid.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Casework; directly working with clients from loan application to loan repayment - conducting check-ins and supporting clients with re-qualification, loan and other related issues.
● Casework; ensuring clients are well supported and signposting or referring to support services where required.
● Providing guidance and career advice - overlooking CVs, supporting job interview preparation and searches, sending tailored resources, writing references and signposting.
● Meeting clients face to face whether in the office or visiting loan and re-qualification recipients all over the UK - this can be a mixture of London-based and national.
● Researching suitable employment and education pathways - outreaching to professional bodies and employers to ask for sector-specific advice where necessary, creating new relationships with as-of-yet unexplored fields.
● Working with the requalification lead to assess loan applications using a character-based model.
● Processing loans and travel payments to clients.
● Working closely with the loan administrator to ensure a seamless journey from initial application to full repayment - contacting our loan administrators where necessary.
● Supporting relationships with professional bodies.
● Working closely with all other RefuAid programmes to ensure holistic support for clients and supporting a streamlined referral process.
● Ensuring that all information is recorded accurately and that databases remain up to date.
● Attending sector-specific events to raise awareness of our work, and following the strategy to best-support RefuAid’s clients.
