What you’ll lead on
Strategic Finance & Planning
- Lead the development of financial and commercial strategies that support WECHI’s long-term vision.
- Oversee annual budgets, forecasts and business planning.
- Provide clear, insightful financial information to support Board and Executive decision-making.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead all financial reporting, including monthly reviews, cashflow management, quarterly management accounts, BVAs and year-end accounts (including subsidiaries).
- Manage the annual audit and maintain strong relationships with bankers, insurers and auditors.
- Ensure robust financial controls, policies and procedures across the organisation.
Operational Performance & Growth
- Partner with operational teams to improve performance, efficiency and financial sustainability.
- Provide financial modelling and support for bids, business cases and new service development.
- Contribute to revenue growth, including development of commercial opportunities and private income streams.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Act as Company Secretary, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Strengthen organisational governance and risk management, including maintenance of risk registers.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, information governance and financial regulations.
Corporate Services Leadership
- Manage the People Support Lead, providing line management and oversight, while working collaboratively to ensure HR compliance, develop people strategy, and coordinate on key operational matters including payroll and budgets.
- Lead IT oversight and the outsourced IT function, ensuring systems are maintained and improved.
- Oversee facilities management and represent WECHI as a Director for Hide Market Management.

- Be the Programme Manager for The Cumbrian Way programme including:

About the Role
As Customer Services Manager, you will lead and develop the charity’s customer services, resident engagement and communications functions. Your work will help deliver the organisation’s mission of providing safe, secure and good quality affordable homes for single women across London.
Reporting to the Director of Operations and managing a team that includes Customer Service Advisors, a Resident Engagement and Resolutions Officer and a Communications Officer, you will ensure services are consistent, resident centred and delivered right first time.

About You

The Role
- To be the strategic lead for income, service, and performance management of Causeway’s Property portfolio. To support housing staff to achieve tangible social impact and/or recovery outcomes in line with Causeway’s mission and with funder’s contractual obligations.

About the role
As a Maintenance Surveyor, you’ll deliver repairs and voids maintenance services for up to 800 properties across your region, collaborating with our teams and contractors to provide our customers with high-quality, timely repairs. Your proactive approach and commitment to excellence will inspire others and make sure our property services are constantly improving.
The role is a mixture of site visits and desk-based work. You'll visit customer homes to understand their repairs needs, using your expert knowledge of the make-up of domestic buildings, HHSRS and schedule of rates to qualify repairs. You'll raise the repairs on our bespoke Housing Management System and update the customer account through to the completion of the works. You'll also uphold our Empty Homes (Voids) standard to deliver first-class quality homes in a timely manner.
In line with Awaab’s Law, you’ll play a key role in identifying and addressing hazards such as damp and mould promptly and effectively, ensuring that health-related repairs are not delayed. Your understanding of housing disrepair will be essential in ensuring compliance, protecting customer wellbeing, and reducing risk.
Through your collaboration with contractors, housing teams, and internal colleagues, you'll help improve service efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to Accent’s mission of providing quality homes and services.
About you
You should have a HNC in Building (or an equivalent qualification) or experience in maintenance and construction, an understanding of building design, building fabrics and associated lifecycles, plus a strong understanding of contract performance and budget management. You’ll have a strong customer focus, great communication skills, an ability to interpret building legislation and use operational software for property management. As you’ll be travelling around our different sites, you’ll also need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

A social housing provider in the London area is looking for an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to support their legal disrepair, complaints and property inspection caseload.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out detailed inspections of residential properties in relation to disrepair, damp, mould, leaks and structural issues
Produce clear technical reports, schedules of works and evidence for legal cases and pre-action protocol processes

Our Supported Accommodation and Emergency Accommodation Service is funded to provide support to those with multiple and complex needs who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness, located in close proximity within Gateshead:
- Two supported accommodation sites; one 8 bed, one 6 bed, both staffed 24 hours.
- Six self-contained properties forming the emergency accommodation element of the service.
We are seeking a part time Support Worker for the Supported Accommodation element of this service.
Our properties are places of safety, Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE), from which we work with individuals. We aim to provide accommodation and support that helps people find self-worth and the belief that they deserve a better future, before moving them on safely and successfully, therefore reducing homelessness and the on-going risk of homelessness.

A social housing provider in the London area is seeking an experienced Planned Works Surveyor to support the delivery of capital and improvement programmes across its housing stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out surveys on residential properties to assess planned maintenance, component replacements and upgrade requirements
- Prepare works specifications, schedules of rates and technical documentation
- Manage contractors, monitor progress and ensure works are completed to agreed standards
