Age UK is recruiting for a Regional Estates Manager to provide a professional comprehensive and cost-effective Regional Estate Management Service on all Age UK Properties.
In this role you will use your professional knowledge and experience to undertake significant problem solving and lateral thinking, providing advice to key stakeholders across the charity on complex estate and asset management issues. By ensuring best professional practice is always observed and complying with the RICS Code of Conduct, the successful post-holder will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of departmental budgets, negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals across Age UK's predominantly retail property portfolio and general day to day property management duties.
Whilst you will be home based, please note this role requires travel across our Age UK estate, so there is an expectation you can travel with some overnight stays; a company car will be provided.
The area this role covers will be dependent on the successful candidate's home location.
Please note: This salary includes a market supplement of £4K up to the maximum of £50K (inclusive). This market supplement reflects the current demand for professionals with skills in this area.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Property and Asset Manager to lead the Council's property function. This role encompasses strategic planning, development, and management of the Council's non-housing property portfolios (operational, leisure & heritage, community and commercial assets). About you

Having its roots in the Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School founded in the 16th century, it became the ‘Queen Elizabeth 1 Foundation’ charity in 1987. The charity owns and derives income from the original ‘Queen Elizabeth 1 Grammar School’ premises in Hartlebury and from its investment portfolio.
It’s key purpose is to benefit local schools and individuals by making financial awards to enhance and support educational opportunities. It seeks and considers applications from local schools or from individual pupils or students resident in the local area. We are committed to this aim and to developing our grant-making. The Foundation’s area of benefit is ‘the ancient parish of Hartlebury’, which is slightly larger than the current parish of Hartlebury.
The post will involve attending board meetings, taking and producing accurate minutes, and undertaking the accompanying administrative tasks including day-to-day banking and accounting. You will need to be able to keep well-ordered files & documents, be numerate and literate, with good typing skills, and it is essential you are fully competent using Word, Excel and Xero (or similar) accounting software.
In-person board meetings, usually six per year, take place at the Parish Hall in Hartlebury in alternate months; they are usually held from 5.30 – 7.30 p.m. Much of the working time for the role will be home-based and there is liable to be a need to store some administrative papers & documents securely in your home. There is also likely to be some written and/or phone contact with schools and individuals who make applications to the charity. You will co-ordinate liaison with the Foundation’s existing property, rent-collection and legal consultants.
The Foundation is in an important period of development, expanding its profile and its grant-making process, upgrading its online presence and moving to internet banking. The clerk’s role will be an exciting part of all these.

About the role
As the Fire & Building Safety Manager, you'll ensure that fire safety responsibilities across the organisation are fully understood and properly executed. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining a fire safety culture that minimises risk and guarantees that no fire risk assessments are overdue. About you
As a Fire & Building Safety Manager you'll have:
• NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety & Risk Management or equivalent fire risk assessment qualification.
• Proven experience managing fire safety programs and delivering Fire Risk Assessments.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team and driving performance improvements in fire safety.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of collaborating across departments.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.

Key deliverables:
