Job Purpose

Main Responsibilities

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking an experience, dynamic and driven Trusts and Statutory Executive to join their team in a newly created role.

Prostate Cancer Research is a research and patient engagement organisation focused on advancing ground-breaking research and interventions into diagnosis, treatment, and care to create a future where prostate cancer no longer threatens lives. Their focus is on delivering innovative solutions and improving quality of life for patients, families, and communities affected by prostate cancer, supporting and encouraging marginalised and underrepresented communities to be part of the positive changes they are working to achieve in research, treatment and care.

The integral role of Trusts and Statutory Executive will lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners to develop and manage a pipeline of strategic partners giving approximately £5,000 to £20,000, that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. The post will be responsible for proactively researching new trust and statutory funding opportunities and working with the Trusts and Statutory Manager to support and lead on applications to new and existing funding partners (£20,000+). The post-holder will also provide excellent stewardship to build strong and sustainable relationships with the charity’s donors.

The ideal candidate will be a Trusts and Foundations fundraiser with demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funders and partners, understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. You will have a background in identifying and securing at least five-figure income from prospective Trusts and Foundations and statutory income sources, as well of producing high-quality and completing proposals, reports and presentations. You will be able to build and maintain relationships with funders and key stakeholders and have excellent communication and organisational skills, supported by an excellent attention to detail.

Role Purpose

Winston’s Wish is a digital first organisation leading the way in Digital Transformation across the Bereavement sector. This role is new and exciting and will play a vital part in helping Winston’s Wish turn up the dial across our high value fundraising.

As Philanthropy Manager you will be responsible for growing income from major donors and Trusts and Foundations through excellent donor stewardship. Main Responsibilities

Leadership

Philanthropy Fundraising

About the role

Role Overview
As the Corporate Partnerships Lead within the RCR Learning team, you will be instrumental in securing additional income for the College through sponsorship and exhibition partnerships. Your primary focus will be on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional service to expand our network of long-term partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve Income Targets: Ensure financial goals are met through effective sales strategies.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of RCR’s events and offerings.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and promote opportunities for sponsorship and exhibitions.
• Market Research: Conduct competitor analysis to enhance our offers and pricing.
• Negotiation: Lead negotiations to overcome barriers and secure sales.

Requirements

• Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in meeting significant income targets.
• Market Research Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and improve existing offers.
• Negotiation Expertise: Experience in managing and pricing corporate sponsorships and partnerships.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense to identify and capitalize on revenue growth opportunities.

This new role is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the growth of our Major Gifts and Partnerships Team. You’ll take the lead in stewarding our current portfolio of generous philanthropists, while also building a pipeline of new supporters, securing significant gifts to power our work.

Ideally, you’ll have at least three years’ experience in philanthropy fundraising, preferably at manager level — although we’re open to hearing from those ready to step up. You’ll be able to demonstrate a strong track record of securing five and six figure gifts and building lasting, meaningful donor relationships.

You’ll also help shape the creation of a new calendar of cultivation and engagement events, working closely with the Special Events team.
