At Survivors in Transition, we provide specialist trauma-informed support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse across Suffolk and the wider East of England. We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and operationally capable Deputy Service Manager to support the day-to-day delivery of high-quality survivor services during a period of continued growth and development.

This is a senior operational role supporting the Service Manager and wider leadership team to ensure services are safe, effective, responsive, and aligned with trauma-informed principles. The postholder will play a key role in staff support, case oversight, safeguarding, performance monitoring, and service coordination.

The role would suit someone with experience in sexual violence, domestic abuse, mental health, safeguarding, social care, or other trauma-related services, who is confident balancing operational management with survivor-centred practice.

Key responsibilities will include:

·Supporting the operational management of frontline services

·Providing day-to-day supervision and guidance to staff and subcontracted therapists 

·Assisting with safeguarding oversight, risk management, and complex case discussions

·Monitoring service delivery, KPIs, waiting lists, and outcomes

·Supporting quality assurance, audits, and compliance processes

·Helping embed trauma-informed and survivor-led practice across the organisation

·Assisting with resource coordination, service cover, and operational problem solving

·Supporting partnership working with external agencies and stakeholders

·Contributing to service development and continuous improvement

Essential experience and skills:

You will hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Counselling, Psychotherapy, Psychology, Mental Health, or Social Care or equivalent professional qualification, along with at least five years’ experience in service or operations management. You’ll bring strong safeguarding knowledge, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of trauma-informed practice. You will be confident in operational efficiency, quality assurance, and resource management, with strong skills in data analysis and budget management. You will be able to work independently to drive operational improvements while maintaining empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Excellent IT skills, advanced organisational ability, and a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach are essential - as is a sense of humour and resilience when working in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment. A full, clean driving licence preferred.

Job Purpose

To work as a member of Gaddum Therapeutic Services which includes Counsellors, Social Workers, Art Therapists, and Play Therapists.

To provide therapeutic support to CYP who have become stuck in their grieving process following a bereavement of a significant person. This will include one to one work and occasional group work which will usually take place at the child’s school, community venue or remotely via telephone or online video.

To offer advice and guidance to professionals and carers who contact us following a child’s complex bereavement. Effective working relationships with parents, carers and other professionals will be a crucial element of the role.

Main Duties

o To be accountable to the CYP Therapy Coordinator.

o Act as an initial point of contact for family members and professionals considering a referral to the service or requesting advice and guidance.

o Provide support in the grieving process, offering advice, making an initial assessment of need and signposting to other services where appropriate.

o Following assessment, offer therapeutic intervention to CYP, supporting their adjustment to loss and building resilience. Interventions should meet the assessed needs of each individual.

o Ensure all involved with the CYP understand the complexities of a bereavement, including those experienced as a result of trauma.

o Maintain case records, monitor and evaluate your work in line with the organisations processes and protocols.

o Undertake regular reviews with family members and other professionals as appropriate.

o Ensure effective multiagency working with other professionals.

o Work to Gaddum’s policies and procedures.

o Ensure Safeguarding procedures are carried out in line with relevant legislation and Local Authority requirements.

The Independent Training, delivered in collaboration with IPCAPA at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (bpf) and the Anna Freud Centre/UCL is seeking progress advisors to support 4-5 trainees on the Doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy training from the start of their training through to completion.

This is an exciting opportunity to guide and support trainees in their development as future child psychotherapists. The successful postholders will liaise with the year 1 tutor, clinical and research tutors, service supervisors and intensive case supervisors. There will be regular team meetings with the year tutor other progress advisors responsible for the year group. Outside of this, working hours are flexible.

We are looking for ACP registered Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists with current CAMHS experience, who have an active interest in working with our year tutor and staff group to support trainees’ progress. The role may suit new career CAPts who wish to develop connections and experience within the field of CAPy training schools. Headway UK developed the Approved Provider Scheme in 2011, which is a voluntary standards-based accreditation, for rehabilitation and residential units for people with a brain injury and we are looking for a new part time team member.

• Location: East or Midlands based, either home based or in Headway UK’s office in Nottingham.

As the Module Lead for Clinical Practice in Context (CPIC), you will lead the delivery and ongoing development of a core Year 2 module within the MSc Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice programme. The ideal candidate will be an experienced mental health or developmental psychology professional with strong teaching and clinical expertise, who is passionate about delivering high-quality, inclusive learning experiences and supporting students to develop reflective and culturally informed clinical practice.

• You will hold a relevant doctoral qualification, such as a DClinPsych or PhD related to mental health or developmental psychology
• You will have clinical experience working within child and adolescent mental health settings
• You will have experience delivering teaching, training, or facilitation to adult learners
• You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the legislative, policy, and practice contexts surrounding Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Key details

Hours: 130 hours annually/ 2.5h a week. Teaching takes place in person at the London site on Fridays during term 1 of the academic year (October- December). Flexible/home working is possible for other duties such as marking and module planning.

Salary: £46,057 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

Location: Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH)

We are looking to expand our pool of experienced, trauma‑informed Clinical Supervisors to provide reflective, supportive and ethically focused supervision to staff working across our services. About the Role

Norwood is investing in the future of Positive Behaviour Support across both our adult and Children & Family Services.

This is a strategic role with the mandate to shape, strengthen and modernise PBS practice across Ravenswood and our North West London services. You will define what high-quality, evidence-based and person-centred PBS looks like at Norwood and ensure it is delivered consistently.

The majority of the role will focus on adult services, with an important proportion supporting our Children & Family Services offer for children and young people aged 5 to 18.  This includes working with neurodivergent children, often with complex and co-occurring needs.  In the medium term, the role will also contribute to thinking around how PBS principles can support neurodivergent children in more mainstream settings.

This role moves beyond behaviour management.  It is about enabling children, young people and adults to live fuller, safer and more independent lives through proactive, strengths-based and positive risk approaches.

• Receive regular clinical supervision to ensure strong case management, reflective practice and ongoing professional support.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:

· To manage a multi-disciplinary team, including paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists.

· This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision, support and advice as well as line management and guidance around risk and safeguarding to clinicians across our other centres as required.

About you

This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.

To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.

The Role

Social prescribing link workers will work as a key part of the primary care network (PCN) multi-disciplinary team. Social prescribing can help PCNs to strengthen community and personal resilience and reduces health and wellbeing inequalities by addressing the wider determinants of health, such as debt, poor housing and physical inactivity, by increasing people’s active involvement with their local communities. It particularly works for people with long term conditions (including support for mental health), for people who are lonely or isolated, or have complex social needs which affect their wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with direct supervision from the Programme Lead/Senior Link Worker and input from the PCN’s Clinical Lead GP, take referrals from staff in GP practices within the local PCN.
• Provide personalised support to individuals, their families and carers to take control of their health and wellbeing, live independently and improve their health outcomes, as a key member of the PCN multi-disciplinary team.
• Developing trusting relationships and taking a holistic approach, based on the person’s priorities and co-produce a simple personalised care and support plan to improve health and wellbeing, introducing or reconnecting people to community groups and statutory services.
• Work collaboratively with all local partners to contribute towards supporting local community groups and organisations, making themselves aware of local resources and “assets” through mapping and then building a relationship with these organisations.  Also sharing intelligence regarding any gaps or problems identified in local provision with commissioners and local authorities. 
• Social prescribing link workers will work collaboratively with GP’s and have a role in promoting social prescribing and educating non-clinical and clinical staff within their PCN multi-disciplinary teams on the benefits of social prescribing
• Raise awareness of other services available within the community and how and when patients can access them. Linking into the work of Neighbourhood Network Schemes, locality Adult Social Care & Community Mental Health Teams.

About You
