As Head of Membership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing CFG’s charity and corporate membership recruitment and retention strategy. You will have a ‘digital first’ mindset, and can ensure data, systems and processes are developed to meet organisational goals.
We are seeking someone who is a membership expert, has proven business development skills, is comfortable with attaining large financial and commercial targets, is hands-on, and is able to analyse data and draw insights from macro and microenvironments, in order to build a strong engagement and retention strategy. You are able to strike a superb balance between commercial acumen and member service provision, so that our offerings are tailored, sustainable and effective.
A natural leader, you will guide the charity membership and corporate member teams and share expertise and knowledge with colleagues across the organisation. You will be a people person, a strong networker comfortable addressing members at events, and have the ability to influence, negotiate and be at ease liaising with senior executives and Board of Trustees.

You’ll hold a small caseload of families while also supporting the smooth running of our service—helping to coordinate hospital visits, review caseloads, and ensure families get the right help at the right time. Role overview
Leadership & Team Support

About the role
This is your chance to make your mark as Design and Brand Manager at the Francis Crick Institute one of the world’s most iconic biomedical research centres, home to over 1,500 leading scientists and a large public gallery space with a rolling programme of exhibitions and events.
For 12 months, you’ll be the creative heartbeat of our Digital and Creative team, setting the standard for design excellence across everything from public exhibitions and scientific reports to internal signage and branded campaigns.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that sits at the creative core of the Crick’s communications. What you will be doing

About the Development Operations & Stewardship Manager role:
This job sits within the Museum’s Development Team, supporting a team of fundraisers to build philanthropic relationships, corporate partnerships and run National Museums Scotland’s Membership programme. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Development and be a senior member of the Development team. The post holder will bring experience and knowledge of best practice across the full Development Operations function, including CRM and supporter insight, prospect research, and financial reconciliation and reporting. Projects you work on may include:
- Deliver annual series of leadership visits to Corporate Partners organisations to explore interests and common priorities around skills, R&D, infrastructure and business support

The role
We are seeking an experienced Events and Community Fundraiser who will deliver our programme of running and challenge events and develop our community fundraising programme. This is a hands-on role and you will be responsible for maximising participation in events and community fundraising activity, whilst providing excellent stewardship to our supporters.
You will be joining us at a really exciting time with our London Marathon team doubling in size and investment in our events marketing activity. You will have the opportunity to grow the community fundraising programmes, developing new and existing products and work with the Senior Fundraising Manager to feed into the development of our wider programme and income growth. About you
Ideally you will have experience of working in the charity sector or be able to demonstrate transferable skills. These insights will help shape future initiatives that support community wellbeing and development.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
This is a pivotal new role within RABI’s Marketing & Communications team, managing the planning and delivery of RABI’s presence at high-profile agricultural, corporate and external affairs events throughout the year, whilst overseeing the management and deployment of volunteers and ambassadors at shows and local engagement activities across England and Wales. The Events & Engagement Manager will ensure that all activities reflect RABI’s values and strategic goals and that our network of volunteers and ambassadors are expertly managed and supported.
You’ll be responsible for managing a high-performing events function, overseeing two Events and Marketing Coordinators and working collaboratively across the charity to ensure RABI is visible, active and engaged across the sector. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership of Events and Ambassador Programme
- Lead the development and implementation of a national events strategy that reflects RABI’s priorities and enhances the charity’s presence across rural and farming communities.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive events and shows calendar, ensuring a coordinated and strategic approach to regional and national opportunities.
- Work closely with RABI’s Fundraising, External Affairs and Volunteering teams to ensure events, conferences and shows are aligned with RABI’s strategic objectives and are on brand.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- A minimum 5 years’ experience working in a successful Events team at a managerial level.
- Proven experience in managing a broad portfolio of events, ideally within the charity, agricultural or rural affairs sectors.
- Demonstrable experience of line-management and overseeing the management of volunteers/ambassadors
- Proven experience leading high-profile public-facing events such as exhibitions, trade shows and external affairs events
