The Role
In April 2021 the Domestic Abuse Act received Royal Assent. The Act introduces a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Notice (DAPN) to provide immediate protection following a domestic abuse incident, and a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) to provide flexible, longer-term protection for victims. DAPOs can impose both prohibitions and positive requirements on perpetrators. We were commissioned by the Home Office to design a triage model that will assess individuals for the suitability of these interventions; this triage model will be rolled out in the pilot sites which are going live in May 2024 and will be tested and evaluated in order to prepare for national roll out in 2026.The Programme Manager will oversee the roll out and delivery of the DAPO pilot Triage Model.

Job Purpose
To oversee the day-to-day delivery of CQC registered high quality dignified residential care and support services promoting respect, equality and the independence of the people supported.
Principal Accountabilities
- Efficiently manage the day-to-day delivery of the adult residential care home service
- Manage staffing levels to ensure sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff.

About the role
This is an exciting time to join our organisation. We have a new strategy and are growing quickly including across our senior leadership team. Purpose of the Operations Manager role:
As Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the effective day to day management of key business support services including operations, IT data and premises. The Environment and Climate action team is responsible for delivering the Trust’s strategy and policy on all environment and climate related sustainability issues, including environmental compliance as a minimum and achieving biodiversity net gain.
Reporting to the Head of Environment and Climate action, the Environmental Management and Compliance manager role will be responsible for the Trust’s Environmental Management System and its associated policies, commitments, and standards, linked to the Trusts evolving sustainability and organisational strategies. The role will require establishing good relationships with other teams in the Trust to drive sound environmental practice from our operations and 3rd party activities.
Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for, and day-to-day management of the Trust’s environmental management system
- Deliver a programme of activities and updates to environmental standards, guidance and tools, ensuring that these are delivered on time and within budget. This forms part of a system refresh that will be delivered this financial year.

The role will be home-based, with the expectation to attend main regional hubs either at Milton Keynes, Birmingham, or Little Venice (Paddington), for collaborative working. Team Support and Line Management

- Work with colleagues from across the team to identify areas for improvement and strengthening.

- Attend and present THET’s work at UK and international events, including the THET annual conference.

The Role
