The Role

As Philanthropy Manager you’ll be working alongside passionate and talented fundraising colleagues to achieve the charity’s ambitious plans for income growth. Your duties will include:

• Devising and delivering a strategy to cultivate new major donors, securing and increasing donations whilst delivering excellent stewardship
• Producing high quality proposals to attract support for a range of hospice services 
• Reviewing and managing the hospice patron scheme
• Representing the hospice in a caring, aspiring and professional manner in a variety of settings to maximise opportunities

The Person

We are looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, and delivering a high level of supporter stewardship. To be considered for this role you should possess a clear understanding of philanthropy trends, best practices and management of successful relationships with major donors. 

You should be skilled at networking, with the ability to influence, negotiate and steward. This role will be varied and interesting so you should have the ability manage and prioritise workloads and retain an exceptional eye for detail. Additionally, the ability to perform research effectively and write creative, inspiring content will also be advantageous.

Just as importantly, you should have great communications skills, the ability to work collaboratively and the flexibility to adapt to make the most of opportunities. We are looking for a positive, proactive solution oriented networker who wants to make a real impact!

About the Role

We’re looking for Project Workers to join our dedicated Hither Green team at Spring Gardens and Hilda House. This is a great opportunity to be part of a specialist, trauma-informed service supporting 68 highly vulnerable adults in Lewisham who have experienced homelessness and face multiple challenges including mental health issues, complex needs, substance use, and trauma.

In the role of Project Worker you will be joining our busy client focused service to:

• Use a person-centred approach to support clients in identifying and working towards their personal goals.
• Respond to incidents and crises as part of a team, prioritising safety and wellbeing.
• Provide practical and emotional support in a caring, approachable way.
• Contribute to a safe, high-quality accommodation service as part of a committed team.
• Maintain accurate records related to client support, housing management, and health & safety.
• Lead shifts on a rota basis, ensuring effective task delegation and smooth service delivery.
• Continue developing your skills to provide holistic, person-centred support, while deepening your understanding of housing and benefits law, and other specialist areas supported through training, supervision and line management.

Work on 8 weekly shift rota that includes early shifts 08:00-18:00, late shifts 13:00-22:30, weekends 08:00-20:30 and bank holidays. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

About the role:

This role is a hybrid post and your location will be Dyfed Powys Police Headquarters in Carmarthen.
As a Triage & Early Intervention Officer you will:

• Directly support victims affected by crime & ensure the provision of tailored one-to-one support

We are looking for a passionate and innovative individual to join our dedicated Fundraising Team as a Corporate Fundraising Officer. This is an exciting opportunity at a prominent assistance dog charity for someone who has already worked in fundraising and is ready to take on more or an enthusiastic person with strong transferable skills.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Remote with regular travel; travel is essential to the role to meet with potential and current corporate supporters. Travel requirements will vary throughout the year.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

You will be part of an ambitious team raising vital income and will be supporting the corporate income line through development and account management. The role is key in enhancing our corporate fundraising income by providing more capacity within the team and allowing a greater focus on attracting new corporate donors. You will undertake in depth research into target sectors, identify charity of the year opportunities, support on applications and account manage your own portfolio of corporate partners. A proactive approach is key as you will have the opportunity to be part of building up and growing our corporate fundraising for the future, as we start working on our new 5 year strategy plan.

About you:

• Proven experience of effectively managing relationships with volunteers, supporters, and/or external stakeholders/audiences.
• Excellent written communication with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences.
• A confident speaker with good presentation skills.
• A successful track record of securing and maintaining income from companies.
• Demonstrable experience in fundraising, business development or relevant transferable skills

In this role you will be part of the Health & Care Quality team, providing administrative and organisational support to the clinical team, which includes nurses, therapists and counsellors.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Manage all referrals from centralised inbox, prioritising and forwarding referrals to the relevant team member, or to direct enquiries to more appropriate services if necessary.
• Assess need of each referral and discuss with ‘on call’ nurse/counsellor if it appears urgent or guidance required to establish need.
