The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is looking for a Digital Learning Designer to join our dynamic RCR Learning team. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and RCR Learning colleagues to design and develop visually engaging, interactive online learning resources that support doctors throughout their careers.

What you’ll do

• Scope, design and develop innovative online courses to to meet the needs of our learners (Resident Doctors and Consultants)
• Facilitate course design workshops with SMEs (doctors and academics), explaining learning design principles and recommending content types which meet busy online leaners’ needs
• Develop learning design plans, storyboards and scripts for online courses which meet our pedagogical and cost/quality frameworks
• Design and develop high-quality, interactive e-learning content using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Synthesia, and Canva.
• Create compelling interactive exercises, visuals, animations, videos and branded templates to bring learning to life.
• Stay ahead of design trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance our digital learning offer.
• Support the marketing of digital learning resources by identifying compelling features and usage trends.
• Help maintain and improve our Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure content is up-to-date and accessible.

Hedgerow Heroes Project Officer - fixed term contact, 9 months

Closing date: 9am, Monday 1st September 2025.

About the role This is an exciting time to join CPRE Hertfordshire as we look to initiate our work across the county protecting and restoring the county’s hedgerows. You will be the lead in this ambition to plant over 2km of hedgerow in Hertfordshire.

It is a big project funded by a CPRE corporate sponsor, but the Hedgerow Heroes Project Officer (HHPO) will have excellent allies and advice every step of the way.

Knowledge and experience in conservation would be an advantage, but the main attributes which this person will bring to the role will be top quality organisation and communication skills.

CPRE Hertfordshire will be working alongside another environmental group who will offer guidance and support on choosing hedgerow plants for planting. This role requires working with volunteers to support with hedgerow planting.

The person in this role will be expected to reach out to bring all the networks and ambition together for the hedgerow planting experience.

Good communication will be key at every stage – with the partners, the participants, the landowners and the funder.

Key responsibilities include:

Communications and Project Management

• Develop a database of volunteers, partnerships and stakeholders to recruit for the planting of 2km of hedgerows.

• Develop criteria for planting locations for the hedgerows and engage landowners in identifying / agreeing sections of hedgerow for planting.

• Use these criteria to develop a best practice guide for hedge planting and after-care, to support landowners, community groups and others in maintaining their newly planted hedgerows.

• Communicate with wider supporters/stakeholders such as schools, colleges, parish councils and community groups with an invitation to plant hedgerows.

• Contribute to the production of a detailed publicity programme aimed at publicising the Hedgerow Heroes project, recruiting support, securing additional plants, acknowledging partners and the funder.

• Provide a monthly report for partners, the funder, trustees and colleagues.

• Attend regular project meetings with our National Office (online).

Planning and Delivery

• Timetable and map the days where hedgerows will be planted and/or restored.

• Keep to the project budget and record expenditure.

• Secure the equipment from the project budget.

• Ensure plants, equipment materials (i.e. stakes and binders) and risk assessments are all in place for each day.

• Liaise directly with the various parties involved in this project, including professional hedgerow planting trainers instructing courses, volunteers, landowners, community groups and other relevant organisations.

• Oversee and attend each planting day.

The Trustees of The Pixel Fund are excited to appoint the Fund’s first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to oversee the next stage of its growth and development following further generous bequests by the Trust’s settlors, and with planned increases in the level of future grant-making.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the skills, experience and aptitude to work with the Trustees to refine and support delivery of The Pixel Fund’s overall vision and strategy, and to be the public face of the charity.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the charity, currently carried out by a part-time administrator, which position is to be discontinued following the CEO appointment.

We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a leadership role with a board of Trustees, ideally with hands-on experience in grant-making and grant management, including managing a portfolio of live grant-holders.Strong financial and budgetary management skills are also desirable, in particular to reduce the Charity’s reliance on the Voluntary Treasurer.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary team at our London Centre.​

You will line manage and supervise highly skilled and dedicated clinicians, in the service delivery of a range of NICE guideline recommended therapy interventions, offered to our clients, who are survivors of torture and organised violence. You will report to the Adult Team Manager, London and operate as an integral part of the London Clinical Services Team. This is an exciting chance to join us as we place survivor empowerment and movement building at the heart of our four-year strategy and work together to increase the number of clients who can access our services. It is based in a centre specifically designed to be a safe and welcoming environment for survivors and includes gardens and growing facilities.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:

• To work with the Adult Team Manager and Heads of Clinical Services to implement FFT’s strategic goals. It will involve providing line management to paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists. This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision to clinicians in our other regional centres (North West England and Scotland).
• To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.
• Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit-based services.
• To formulate and negotiate psychological treatment and management plans for referred clients and to provide psychological treatment, using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service in line with the new clinical model “Pathways” (drawing on a range of evidence-based models for the presenting problems of the clients).
• Being an effective role model and leader to encourage, develop and enhance skills of others.​

About you

This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.

To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.

Role Description

The role of a programme coordinator is ensuring the smooth running of all programme related events. This will include having a full understanding of all the SEO London programmes; understanding the relevant industry that the programme supports; how these fits into the SEO London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students, young professionals and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events. In turn this role will be responsible for using data to run reports to show the impact of each programme. In coordination with the programme managers and other programme coordinators, will make recommendations for possible changes and ideas to further support the student and young professional experience. The role will also ensure a seamless and professional level of customer care to all participants.

Accountabilities

DAY TO DAY DELIVERY OF EVENTS

• Responsible for the overall administration all participants events, with specific responsibility to ensure student communication is exceptional. Including event management, student and partner communication and coordination of all the relevant stakeholders, along with posting roles on opportunities page and weekly newsletter 

 
STUDENT MANAGEMENT & QUERY HANDLING 

• Responsible for the relationship management of the participants - including the ability to understand needs, resolve issues and anticipating and creating a strong relationship on behalf of SEO London
• Responsible for managing participants query escalations and to identify where there are opportunities to improve communication, marketing, or the type of events
• Responsible for managing the programme inbox (where applicable)

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising and Grants Administration

This is a hands-on role for an experienced organiser who will lead key aspects of our community organising practice. You'll design and deliver training workshops, coach emerging organisers, and build meaningful relationships with both partner organisations and individual members to expand our movement.

In September 2024, National Numeracy launched a new ‘Schools & Families’ programme to support Primary School staff, parents and carers in increasing pupils’ confidence with numbers, positive feelings about maths, and awareness of the value of maths outside of the classroom. The programme also works to improve parents’, carers’, and school staff’s own confidence with numbers and with supporting children with their maths.

The programme has been hugely successful and is growing rapidly – we have now secured funding to deliver activity in all four nations of the UK and we are working with almost 300 schools currently.

The Schools & Families Programme Officer will support the Schools & Families Programme Manager in managing fast-paced activity across the UK, particularly delivering online training directly to school staff, recruiting schools, and visiting selected schools to ensure the success of the programme.

Role overview

This role is central to our mission to support sustainable living, reduce food waste, tackle local food insecurity, and foster meaningful community connections. As a key part of delivering the vision set out in our National Lottery-funded RenewALL Hub proposal, you will ensure our food provision goes beyond meeting immediate needs to build inclusion, wellbeing, and pathways into wider community support.

Your primary responsibility will be to secure regular donations of surplus food by developing and maintaining strong partnerships with local supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and national redistribution organisations like the Newham Food Alliance, Felix Project, and Feeding Britain.

You will manage the effective use of this food across our services, including the foodbank, food pantry, warm meals programme, and cooking classes. This will involve careful stock management, menu planning, and coordinating with lead staff to ensure our food provision meets Newham’s environmental, health, and cultural needs. A key part of this will be overseeing the successful operation and promotion of our expanded food pantry.

Coordinating volunteers will be essential, particularly in managing and expanding our cargo bike fleet for surplus food collection and redistribution. You will also explore opportunities to monetise these sustainable transport services. To further engage the community, you will organise and host quarterly workshops on reducing food waste and eating on a budget.

Ultimately, you will play a vital role in coordinating our surplus food operations, managing volunteer teams, and strengthening partnerships to ensure our food services are impactful, sustainable, and community-led.
