Ebony Horse Club is a Brixton-based charity that works with young people from low-income backgrounds, using horses as a powerful catalyst to build confidence, aspirations, and life skills.

We are looking for a Senior Youth Worker to join our team to help shape and deliver our services here in Brixton as we enter our 30th year. Join a fun, enthusiatic team of staff and volunteers - as well as 9 horses (and a couple of dogs). We're looking for a flexible, creative and positive person to take the lead on organising trips, creating opportunities and working directly with young people on site here in Brixton. 

The role requires evening and weekend work, however we know life happens so try to offer as much flexibility as possible. The Role

• To promote independence by supporting service users to move on positively.
• Develop networks across West London to build strong move-on pathways from the WLCH.
• Ensure discharge KPI timescales are adhered to within the WLCH.

Key Accountabilities:

You’ll be comfortable pitching to a range of producers, journalists and editors, will have a sense of what makes a good broadcast spokesperson, and be confident helping colleagues to prepare for media opportunities. International development experience is not essential, but you’ll be able to show a strong interest in our work and be passionate about helping deliver our mission. 

We are looking for a creative go-getter with lots of ideas about how to secure media coverage for our work. You should be able to write well and build relationships with a wide range of people around the world. In return, you’ll be given room to flourish and supported to raise the profile of CAFOD, and will also have the chance to work on humanitarian appeals launched by the Disasters Emergency Committee.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Community Care Coordinators to support some of our most vulnerable users of emergency services. These roles have been developed to further support our service users alongside our statutory partners at North Middlesex NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department, to increase their wellbeing, confidence, social integration, and independence.

The successful candidates will be responsible for working with service users during periods of crisis and support them through their journey of recovery to ensure that they are receiving the support most beneficial to them. This will be achieved through a person-centred approach to ensure that the views of service users are central to the planned support they receive.

The successful candidates will take a lead in working with service users to assess needs/barriers preventing clients from recovery, working with them to create a personal action plan, and monitoring and evaluating outcomes and progress.

Independence will be encouraged through self-management and recovery.

The roles will involve working in the community and with the wider team as well as our partner organisation North Middlesex NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department to ensure that the community is kept up to date with the services that we are offering and the strong reputation of Mind in Haringey as a leading provider of mental health services in the borough is maintained.

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week), between the service hours of 9am-5pm (Monday-Friday)

About the role

Thousands of people in our communities are affected by breast cancer, and many of these are compelled to help by fundraising for Breast Cancer Now. To enable us to best support our network of fundraisers, and contribute to a sector leading programme, we’re looking for a community fundraising executive to join the London, South and Wales team.

In this busy and exciting supporter-facing role, you’ll provide stewardship to our brilliant fundraisers organising events from bake sales and balls to tractor runs and sponsored walks. And, alongside the other community fundraiser executives, you’ll be the first point of contact for supporters, playing a key role in the smooth day to day running of the programme.

Through excellent relationship management, you’ll inspire our supporters to see through their fundraising plans, raise as much as possible and continue to support the charity in a way that’s right for them.

Reporting into an experienced community fundraiser, you’ll be nurtured and developed in your role. And have the opportunity to develop relationships with a wide variety of supporters, from individuals and volunteers to clubs, societies, groups and local companies.

Animal Welfare Investigations Project (AWIP) is a specialist not-for-profit organisation dedicated to ending cruelty through intelligence-led investigations, criminal prosecutions, and systemic change.

We are investing heavily in building a world-class legacy fundraising program. We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Legacy Officer to help steward our most visionary supporters — securing transformational gifts that will protect animals for generations to come.

About the Role

As our Legacy Officer, you will be at the heart of one of the most important projects in AWIP’s future.

You will:

• Build warm, trusting relationships with legacy pledgers and prospects.

• Respond to supporter enquiries about Gifts in Wills.

• Steward confirmed pledgers through personalised updates, thank you letters, and occasional calls or events.

• Maintain accurate CRM records for legacy prospects and pledgers.

• Create simple, heartfelt communications to inspire and retain pledgers.

• Host occasional small-scale legacy events (virtual or in-person).

• Report on progress to the Executive Director.

This is a 12-month temporary contract with a strong possibility of extension or becoming permanent based on program growth and conversion performance.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Warm, empathetic, and relationship-driven.

• Organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Self-motivated, able to manage workload across 16 hours per week.

• Comfortable communicating by email, letter, and phone.

• Committed to animal protection and the long-term power of Gifts in Wills.

• Holds or is willing to work towards a recognised legacy qualification (e.g., CiCLA or Certificate in Legacy Fundraising).

• (Preferred) Adherence to a cruelty-free – vegan or vegetarian – lifestyle with a passion for protecting animals.

• (Preferred) Previous experience in legacy fundraising, supporter care, or major gifts.

Role Details

• Salary: £12,000–£12,600 per year (equivalent to £28,500–£31,500 FTE).

• Working Hours: 16 hours weekly total, fully flexible working. Overtime (time off in lieu) may be available for extra workload.

• Location: Remote (occasional travel for in-person team meetings and/or supporter events — expenses paid).

• Contract: 12 months initially, with strong potential to extend or become permanent.
