The Rough Sleeping Team in Oxford provide a rapid response service to support people at immediate risk of rough sleeping. We are currently looking for inspirational people to join the Somewhere Safe to Stay Service (SSTS) team as Assessment and Reconnection Workers where no day is the same. You will work as part of a busy, dedicated team while developing the necessary skills to:
- Provide direct support to people new to, or at risk of rough sleeping; working closely with individuals on assessment action plans which fully involves them in their recovery. To do this you will build positive working relationships with a range of services and individuals across Oxford.
- Work on the weekly shift rota including shifts from Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, and some weekends and bank holidays.

About the role:
As our Mental Health Crisis Worker, you will be part of the Crisis Service working with and supporting men and women. This involves working with and alongside organisations within the Bristol Mental Health Partnership. This is a hub and spoke service with a 24 hour hub (providing a full crisis service across the city). You will therefore be required to work on a rota system including regular evenings and weekend working and must be able to drive and have access to an appropriate vehicle. You will be based at Southmead Hospital where the North Crisis Team is located.
The role is focused on providing a range of interventions to assist with daily health, social care and wellbeing needs to reduce the crisis, build resilience and improve wellbeing. You will be employed by Missing Link and seconded into our Bristol Mental Health Partnership and will therefore be operationally managed by AWP.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Mental Health Crisis Worker:
§ Build trusting and collaborative relationship with the service user
§ Work closely with carers, families and children and other services directly involved with service users, carers if appropriate
§ Carry out role adhering to Mental Health Bristol Partnership’s policies, procedures, values, code of conduct and current legislation using a Recovery orientated, psychologically informed, equalities based approach
§ Co-produce, update, implement and review a crisis plan, relapse prevention and other self-management tools
§ Implement the recovery plan and inform any review, working jointly with the Assessment and Recovery Team Recovery Navigator/Care Co-ordinator, in partnership with service users in line with best practice.
§ Coordinate support, refer and liaise effectively with all professionals, agencies and other parties involved in service user’s support in order to deliver the crisis support package
§ Enable delivery of the crisis and recovery plans and to enable service users to make informed decisions about their mental wellbeing, maximising their independence and providing advocacy role where appropriate
§ Provide specialist support to women using the service and advice and guidance to other team members regarding women’s mental health issues
§ Promote and facilitate service user involvement and inclusion within Mental Health Bristol and the community in line with Mental Health Bristol Partnership objectives
§ Manage caseload, documentation and time effectively, ensuring up to date, clear and accurate record keeping in line with MHB policies, making best use of supervision, training and staff development
§ Collaborate with other team members to maximise service performance, meet targets and Service Level Agreements and promote effective communication and teamwork
§ Maintain hope and optimism for the individual with high expectations for recovery. Use lived experience (if appropriate) to positively support the individual’s recovery

This exciting role will manage the provision of a non-clinical Recovery Space (crisis café) funded by South London Partnership Commissioning. This project operates in the day and evenings, people are referred by our Trusted Assessors in various Teams such as Croydon University Hospital, Psychiatric Liaison, Assessment and Liaison, Croydon College, Home Treatment Team and others.
The aim of the service is to divert people, who would be better supported elsewhere, away from Accident and Emergency (A&E) and towards services that can support with their immediate crisis within the Borough of Croydon. The Recovery Space Service Manager leads this service which is non-clinical but a warm and welcoming setting to support and hold individuals during the day and evening. The Recovery Space service referrals will not be accepted after 10pm for attendance at night.
The role will work closely at senior operational level with external partners, clinical, commissioning, and voluntary sector organisations to plan, develop and promote the highest quality service. They will manage a team of nine staff, three are Crisis Workers, operating a day service, one outreach crisis worker also operating during the day and five Recovery Space Workers in the evening. The role will need to produce reports, develop, and implement policies and procedures in line with best practice and to ensure the service is making a difference to people’s lives. The role will work with other service managers including those managers within the Transformation services to ensure a One Team approach to provide an effective and efficient service for clients.

Working as part of the REACH and Children’s Safeguarding Families Together service, the post holder will provide high quality support and interventions to Dorset families as part of the Safeguarding Families Together Team. You will be working with adults with substance misuse related problems to achieve their goals and improve outcomes for their whole family.
This post will be co-located and working alongside multiple partner organizations’ (Probation, Mental Health, Social Workers & Domestic abuse practitioner’s, with cases that are open to statutory services as part of Children’s Social Care. The teams work with Children in Need, Children subject to Child Protection Plans, Pre-proceedings and Care proceedings.
The purpose of this post is to reduce substance misuse related harm to the individual and their families, by eliminating the negative impact on children of parental substance misuse. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within Children’s services to support parents and carers to keep their children safely at home by supporting them with their recovery.
Skills and Qualifications

Windsor Road service offers 11 beds to people experiencing mental ill health. We are a CQC registered residential care home. We offer individual one to one interventions and sessions such as social anxiety, anxiety, finance and budgeting, positive self-image, building self-esteem, support with diet and nutrition, healthy eating, sleep hygiene, DBT skills, building resilience, life skills, solution-based therapy, stress management etc. We offer a range of activities in our service planner including a daily coffee morning, a ‘here and now’ group, community gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, social inclusion and family and friends’ days. We support our residents with daily living skills where this is needed, such as support with shopping and cleaning tasks, this could include prompting or supporting alongside them. We also work closely with other agencies and our residents wider care teams, so good communication skills are required. And of course, all of this is recorded on our information management systems, so good record keeping and documentation is also essential. Our service consists of 8 24/7 Recovery Workers, a Service Manager and Registered Manager.

Right now, our Croft House Supported Housing service in Surrey is looking for Recovery Workers to support the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community. Not only are we committed to putting them at the heart of everything we do, we recognise they should be involved in decisions that affect their future too. That’s why we need you to inspire and support them to lead their own recovery.
So, whether it’s helping to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations, developing domestic and finance management skills or accessing work, leisure or educational opportunities, your empathy, enthusiasm and compassion will have every chance to shine. Entering accurate case notes onto our IT system will be important too. And, when it comes to regularly liaising with GP surgeries, the local council, charities etc. or promoting the service within the community, again, we'll count on you.
No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided, although candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed. More important is your caring and compassionate nature and empathy and enthusiasm for helping others. Whatever your background, you’ll need to be happy to work both independently and within a team and willing to be part of a weekly rota system.

Are you passionate about delivering excellent mental health support? We're looking for two outstanding Service Managers to join our growing service delivery and development team at Restore.
Every year we work with over 500 people across Oxfordshire, supporting them on their mental health recovery journey including helping them plan for the future, engage in meaningful activities such as gardening, crafts, woodwork and cookery, find paid work, or get into training or education.
As Service Manager at Restore you will work flexibly across a cluster of sites, mixing logistical support and direct service delivery and planning, with the opportunity to feed in to the development and innovation of our recovery services, helping to ensure the quality of our services remains second to none.

What are we looking for?
You have a good understanding of the third sector, and demonstrate empathy with people with lived experience of mental health problems. You take pride in developing positive working relationships both internally and with external stakeholders.
You have an awareness of the stigma and discrimination those of us with experience of mental health problems encounter, and are determined to play your role in challenging that.
You are able to remain calm under pressure when dealing with sensitive staffing or member issues, and know when to seek support / escalate.

- GCSE English and Maths Grade 5 or equivalent (E)
- At least two years’ experience in the voluntary sector or similar experience in a social or health care setting (E)

- Experience of representing an organisation to a range of external audiences (D)

Skills and Abilities
- Excellent listening and communication skills (both written and verbal (E)

West Berkshire Supported Housing & Floating Support is a support service, working to a recovery model and offers a support service to our clients aged 18 and upwards. Supported housing offers 13 self-contained flats for those looking to live a more independent life and our floating support offers support to those in their own home. We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone.
About the role
Recovery Workers ensure our clients are at the heart of everything we do. They are responsible for inspiring the people who use our services to lead their own recovery, while maintaining their tenancy and independence in the community. Together they co-produce a personalised support plan designed to address their specific needs and achieve their goals and aspirations. Recovery Workers also develop your leadership skills by taking on lead areas and extra responsibilities. The support work at our service varies a lot so not every day or support session is the same. This can include but is not limited to:
- Support to attend medical appointments
- Finding and attending social groups and external activities
- Meal planning, shopping, and cooking
- Finances and budgeting
- Living Skills
- Working on interventions.
About you
