Job description

Supported Housing Service Manager 

37 hours per week


£38,250 per annum plus pension

Our client is an organisation with social purpose at its heart.  They provide affordable homes that help people find security and stability and a positive future.  They’re one of the largest housing associations in the South West and an expanding house builder, using their profits to create more affordable housing in their communities.  Their values are at the core of how they work.

They own and manage around 13,000 properties in the south west, the majority of them in Bath. As well as rented housing, they offer supported housing units to assist over 300 people and families each year who are homeless to access a place to live and access our employability service to help people find work. They work to improve their homes and estates and build new places for people to live.

What you'll be doing

You will be the accountable lead for teams providing high quality customer service through both commissioned supported housing and employability contracts. You will also have responsibility for leading our supported accommodation and direct access homeless services for families. You will also be service lead for the award-winning Wellbeing House. Working with our leadership team you will coordinate the smooth day to day running of the services across Bath and North East Somerset, shape strategy and develop new services.

Therefore, they are looking for a dynamic, resilient and motivated leader with a proven track record of managing multiple teams and different contracts preferably but not essentially in a health and social care setting. 

The successful candidate will be a compassionate, results driven lead who is able to bring out the best in their operational teams and attain the highest customer satisfaction. Excellent contract management including monitoring KPIs, contract compliance and reporting are a must.

Experience of the safe delivery of services to complex people is essential  - they are looking for a successful track record of delivering great customer service, leading teams and growing services. 

When and where you'll be doing it 

You will be working Monday to Friday, based around customers’ needs. As well you will be required to manage and participate in the on call rota with one in six weekends as a responder.
