About the team:

Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.

With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:

• creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;

• sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and

• providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.

This role will coordinate the ‘hub’ resources and content with a focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders.  Specifically, this role will manage an ‘online hub’ for support group leaders and provide an excellent ‘customer experience’ for all support group leaders. You will support the hub innovation.

Together with the Peer Support Hub Lead you’ll take a human centred approach to working with group leaders to develop a central hub of accessible and useful resources and activities (for in person and online).  You’ll build good relationships with support group leaders, building in their insight to develop resources and activities that will support them in their role.

You’ll help kinship carers to sustain their groups, working with colleagues across Kinship to promote consistent access to services and activities (training, programmes, information, advice and campaigns), ensuring a joined-up user experience.

About the role:

The role of the Peer Hub Coordinator will provide operational delivery of the Peer Support Hub. With excellent marketing, communication and digital skills this role will work with the Peer Support Hub Lead to develop an ‘in person’ and online peer support community.

 In this context, your role supports the centralised ‘hub’ of the service, delivering an exciting programme of training, speakers, toolkits and resources to help peer support group leaders develop, build and sustain their group well. This will be building on and innovating the current Support Group Network.

 Your role will support group leaders to feel connected and supported, learn from each other and build a powerful and resilient peer community.

You’ll be comfortable with using digital technology and tools to build communities and develop resources. You’ll be curious about digital community tools, and you’ll want to work closely with our digital and content team to develop an amazing online experience.

You’ll also be a people person – understanding how building ‘in person’ relationships is key to unlocking community power for kinship carers.

You’ll be the right-hand person to the Peer Support Hub Lead making sure we deliver a really brilliant experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operational delivery, innovation and management of a dedicated online and in-person peer support ‘hub’.

• Building direct and positive relationships with support group leaders.

• Roll out mechanisms and tools to support groups to remain sustainable including but not limited to; informal buddy matches, online hub for support group leaders, monthly e-news, monthly speakers, themed specialist training (like setting up a safe Facebook group / promoting your group) and celebration events.

• Facilitation of regional network meetings.

Essential requirements include:

• Experience of developing jargon-free content for different audiences and channels.

• Experience of providing project support, delivering plans on time and evaluating outcomes.

• Experience of stakeholder communications and building relationships with stakeholders (e.g. beneficiaries and partners).

This is an exciting opportunity to join our new service supporting Unpaid Carers across Lewisham to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.

The team works with unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers, completing statutory and holistic assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need. You will carry out home visits and community meetings, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Unpaid Carers, families, and professionals.  

You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Unpaid Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will also support the development of escalation plans so that Unpaid Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.

Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. Experience of working in mental health or dementia services would be an advantage.

You should be an excellent communicator and able to motivate and empower others. This is a full-time role.

Wandsworth WellFamily and Foodbank Service is an adult mental health service serving the Wandsworth community and based in foodbanks and GP surgeries across the London Borough of Wandsworth. We offer short term, holistic support focusing on the needs of the whole family whilst directly supporting the adult.

New funding has enabled us to create this post which will focus on increasing our capacity and inclusivity to provide emotional and practical support to the most vulnerable foodbank guests, who present with complex needs. This will involve providing a short-term intervention of up to two sessions, making safeguarding referrals where appropriate, liaising with GP’s and improving their access to services.

The other facet to the role will involve building new links with marginalised communities in Wandsworth, such as Refugee and Asylum Seekers, people with substance misuse, victims of domestic violence and the LGBTQ+ community. The goal is to reduce health inequalities including racism and all forms of discrimination.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Training

• In conjunction with the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, facilitate a safeguarding learning and development programme for the diocese aligned with the national church Learning and Development Framework, Church Safeguarding Standards, reflecting the specific safeguarding responsibilities of those in role.
• To administer all lay and clergy safeguarding training run by the Diocese in line with above, in approximately 80 sessions a year.  This includes: producing a deadlines document; administers the sessions on Zoom / Teams, posting courses on Eventbrite and operating as content manager for publicity on the Diocesan website.
• To administer bookings for training courses; copy course materials and respond to emails and queries on training matters, ensure compliance of work submission required before and after courses. 
• Log entry of all course participants onto a database to ensure each person has a personal safeguarding training record, and each parish has a safeguarding training profile.

General Administrative 

• Work with IT and Information and Data Manager position to produce reports for the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser on safeguarding training issues and trends, and annual statistics represented in charts and graphs for inclusion in the annual safeguarding review. 
• Produce quarterly reports on training compliance for Archdeacons and the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel meetings. 
• Helping to organise and minute meetings when the safeguarding administrator is not available/on leave.
• Support the safeguarding team with other tasks and projects as identified by the Safeguarding Administrator or Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser.

Job Purpose

The National Ophthalmology Database (NOD) is a core Department workstream using clinical audit data to identify improvements and provide advice, to inform patient care, safety, and service delivery. This is a new role working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and support the programe manager to deliver activities of the NOD. The post requires strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. The role will be responsible for all aspects of project support and day-to-day management of the NOD website, including implementation of new developments with the supplier and analysis of usage to suggest areas for improvement.

Main Areas of Work and Responsibility

• Assist the NOD Manager in project planning to identify and track deviations from the project plan and budget, identifying and logging any risks and issues, and improving project procedures
• Support the NOD Manager with administration, project outputs, applying and explaining the information governance, outlier, and other project policies to stakeholders
• Management of the NOD website including liaising with the website supplier, working with the NOD Manager to develop a content schedule, editing content, assisting users with queries, authorising user access

About You:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the skills and attributes set out in the persons specification. We are seeking a self- starter who can seamlessly coordinate tasks with competing priorities. HR knowledge is a bonus, however demonstration of a proven track record of working in a busy environment, delivering to deadlines and cross sectional working puts you in a good position.

You will bring operational working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, and Mailchimp. Ideally you come from or have a HR background and have worked in the voluntary sector and if not, you are able to demonstrate your transferable skill set showcasing your excellent ability to undertake this role.

Context and Responsibilities within this role:

Cook for Good is about to move into their third year of operating. They have grown quickly from a start up to a high profile social enterprise. Initially most of their corporate sales and partnership revenue was generated organically, driven by their founders' networks. In this role you will work closely with C4G's Corporate Partnership Manager and Events Director to support all in-bound sales enquiries for their corporate team building events and convert to bookings.

* You will support the business development team in dealing with enquiries from leads they generate as well as liaising with existing clients.
* You will also support the Events team to co-ordinate the booking of events and liaising with corporate clients in both the lead in and follow up to an event.
* Organise and occasionally host show rounds for prospective clients.
* Occasional research to identify new prospects and circulate sales information where required to support Corporate Partnership Manager and Marketing Manager
* Ad hoc support on social media updates (LinkedIn and Instagram) to promote Cook for Good through client and wider networks

They are now looking for:

* Ability to communicate, inspire and engage well with a wide range of stakeholders and prospective clients
* Experience of using a CRM system and ensuring timely and accurate reporting on sales pipelines, targets and key account status

Purpose of Post

This is an exciting time to join our innovative carers service. We are in a position to grow the current support offered and develop other ways of supporting carers across Hertfordshire.

The Carers Coordinator is an integral role within Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) and to the future development of the service. Using the ethos and values of peer support, the post holder will support carers in an empathetic, safe, respectful and empowering way; using their lived experience to bring hope.

Key Responsibilities

• To recruit, train and support a team of volunteers to provide 1-1 support and group support

• To work with the Service Manager to assist in the planning, organisation and development of the Carers service
• To work closely with the Volunteer Team around the volunteer recruitment process and Volunteer Selection Training
• Ensure volunteers are aware of all training opportunities
• Attend training, supervision sessions and appraisals as required
• Act as a positive role model for unpaid carers

As a Sport Coordinator, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering varied activity sessions for both adults and young people across different services, both internally and externally. You will work closely with the Sport Manager to effectively coordinate support from freelancers and volunteers. Your role will extend to broadening the accessibility of sports and exercise within SHP's services and among its residents, for both adults and the young people we support.
