In the community we deliver programmes in 5 locations in partnership with the NHS, HM Prison and Probation Service and other charities to improve the life chances for some of the most excluded and vulnerable individuals in society.

About the role
As Fundraising Manager - Trusts & Foundations, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our fundraising strategy. Summary of the role:

Role Context
Recovery in Community is a successful partnership between Manchester Mind and Gaddum. We support people to manage and live with their mental health in their community. Staff are employed by both organisations but work together collaboratively and as a team.
Role Purpose
You will be building trusting and kind relationships with the understanding that they enable people to be listened to and heard and that this makes a difference.
You will work with people prior to discharge from mental health hospital and then support the person get the care they need so they can recover in the community. We want to enable people to feel connected within their communities – to services, friends and family.
This role will work with a small but intensive caseload (max 15 cases) to focus on:
· Get people home: when people are sent to an out of area placement (OAPs) advocate to get them back to Greater Manchester so they can recover in their community.
· Discharge: Supporting people when they’re ready to be discharged from inpatient mental health services to get back to the community and recover.
· Prevent re-admissions: Work with people, post-discharge, to ensure they continue to get the support they need to make informed choices, stay well and ultimately thrive.

· To provide support to people that are ready to be discharged from inpatient psychiatric care to return to the community with the services and resources they need to recover.

Our Services team based in Leeds has an opening for a Helpline Adviser.
Location: This role requires weekly attendance at Scope Leeds office (3 Brewery Wharf, Leeds, LS10 1JF). We therefore ask that applicants are based within a reasonable commuting distance to the office in Leeds.
The working pattern for this role will be agreed and will be varied over shift patterns between 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and to include some Saturday working 10am to 6pm.

The role
We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to prioritise their own workload whilst advising Scope’s helpline customers. To provide support to helpline customers, supporters and donors and Scope enquiry customers.
In this role, you will:
· Provide consistent high-quality responses to enquiries received at Scope’s Helpline via telephone, email, live chat, our online community, and social networking channels, within set turnaround times.
· Ensure that customers feel valued and are provided with information that is tailored to meet individual need, is accurate, up to date and accessible to them.
· Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and empathetic manner.
· Continually update your knowledge around disability issues and to share learning across the team, to offer an expert service to Scope’s customers.
· Identify the correct person/department and efficiently transfer calls internally when customers ring with general enquiries.
· Ensure that details of all enquiries are logged accurately on the customer database in a timely manner and that quality data and information is maintained.
· Work within Scope’s policies relating to customer confidentiality and data protection.
· Follow Scope’s policy and process around safeguarding and to make decisions regarding relevant customers as appropriate.
· Promote Scope and its values around equality, inclusion and the social model of disability and to present a positive image of the organisation in all aspects of work.
· Contribute to team meetings and discussions and to proactively contribute to the continued improvement of the service.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
· Demonstrable experience of providing advice and information.
· Experience of working in a contact centre environment with a friendly and empathetic manner.
· Excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate correctly to all of Scope’s internal and external customers.
· Drive and enthusiasm to the role and be able to demonstrate that you care passionately about improving the lives of disabled people.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Governance Manager provides specialist leadership for governance, statutory compliance, regulatory assurance and governance policy management across the organisation. This role sets the governance framework, maintains compliance standards, advises senior leaders and Boards, and ensures escalation of governance, legal, constitutional or regulatory issues where required. The Governance Manager also leads Board and committee governance administration, including scheduling, meeting logistics, formal minutes, action tracking and formal governance records, working alongside the EA and Governance Co-ordinator, where CEO/COO diary coordination, leadership administration or wider organisational coordination is required.
The successful candidate will bring experience of governance and compliance having worked in a similar role previously. This includes experience of maintaining governance frameworks and registers as well as supporting Boards and senior level stakeholders. You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills. You will also bring a passion for the mission with a drive to help streamline and improve processes and systems.
