Overview
At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We work alongside young people seeking safety in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people’s rights and power.
Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people.
The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.
You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Project Lead to join our team and lead the development of our advice services for under-served communities. This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.

At Ambitious about Autism, we're currently looking for a Web and Digital Marketing Officer to join our team on a 12 month contract.
Are you passionate about using digital tools to make a real difference? Do you want your skills to directly support autistic children and young people? Join Ambitious about Autism as our Web and Digital Marketing Officer and help deliver innovative, high-impact digital communications.
In this varied and hands-on role, you'll support the execution of our digital strategy across websites, email and digital presence. Working closely with the Senior Brand and Marketing Manager, you'll run digital campaigns, manage our websites and email marketing, and create compelling content that brings our work to life. You'll also lead email marketing planning and content, using analytics to inform and evolve our approach.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong grounding in digital marketing – you'll have experience in using CMS platforms (Drupal or similar), and developing content across digital formats. You'll also be confident using tools like CRM and Mailchimp, SEO, PPC, and performance analytics.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience of managing online communication platforms
- Proven experience of implementing digital strategies
- Writing experience including writing for web and social media
- Experience of managing websites and using content management systems (e.g. Drupal) and experience of using email marketing platforms such as MailChimp

We are thrilled to be working with a youth homeless charity as they search for a passionate Senior Philanthropy Manager to join their incredible team. They are the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, campaigning to end homelessness of youth by 2037.
The Senior Philanthropy Manager role leads the Philanthropy function here, driving the team forward as they embark on the cultivation of a strong new prospect pipeline. As part of the role, you will be responsible for a team bringing in income of over £1.3m per year, with a view to double income over the next 3 years.
Working closely with the Head of Relationship Fundraising, you will lead the development of team plans, ensuring that they are diversifying their high value donor portfolio, and delivers sustainable unrestricted and restricted income.
This is a great opportunity to lead a high performing team, and spearhead an exciting Philanthropy Programme with buy-in and investment from stakeholders across the organisation.
To be successful in the role of Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience of working with high value donors as a leading professional in the area of philanthropy.
- Demonstrable experience of securing major donor gifts at £100k, with excellent writing skills to support the delivery of proposals.
- Proven experience of developing effective donor relationships and provision of excellent stewardship, with knowledge of the changing philanthropic landscape.

We have a great opportunity for a Fundraising Board Executive Assistant working for a wonderful medical charity. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant or Project Manager looking to proactively support the Campaign Board and fundraising campaign.
This role will be hands-on and fundamental in facilitating and helping to maximise the campaign execution ensuring timelines are kept on track, whilst driving the operational coordination of diaries, committee meetings, and scheduling. This role will also be line managing the Campaign Reporting Officer.
As part of this exciting role you will lead on all preparations and distribution of comprehensive board meeting agendas and follow ups, develop and maintain strong relationships with all board members (particularly the Board Chair) and manage and track the progress of the campaign through regular updates and accurate reporting.
