We are looking for a Grants Coordinator (Applications) to join our Grants and Programmes team, a role which is key to ensuring the smooth running of our grant application processes and making sure funding is delivered efficiently, fairly, and in line with our mission. 

In this role, you will lead on the development and implementation of the Foundation’s processes for encouraging and receiving grant applications, managing the review process, and processing grant awards. You will be responsible for the planning and coordination of grant application rounds across multiple funding programmes and be the first point of contact for applicants and manage the peer review process. You’ll also play a vital role in maintaining and improving grant management system (managed within Salesforce) and contribute to the design and delivery of an inclusive and accessible application processes. 

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and project coordination skills, strong communication and liaising abilities, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Experience using Salesforce or working in a grant-making environment is highly desirable, but we welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds who are ready to learn and grow in the role.

The Opportunity  

WorkWell is a government funded programme that offers an early-intervention work and health support and assessment service. This provides holistic support to overcome health-related barriers to employment, and a single, joined-up gateway to other support services. 

We work in partnership with mental and/or physical health clinical teams, GP practices and other referral partners who refer clients who are currently in employment but are experiencing difficulties in the workplace and require assistance to help them return to work, remain in work or find new employment. This programme will also support those who have fallen out of work to get the support they need to return to employment. That support will be tailored to their specific needs and circumstances. 

We would like you to join our team of Work and Health Coaches to provide highly effective support to individuals and guide them on their journey to returning, remaining or finding new employment while also supporting them to improve their health and wellbeing. The Work and Health Coach is instrumental in supporting participants to remove health related barriers by sourcing and funding appropriate interventions.

• Demonstrable experience of successfully working to targets (E)
• Experience providing case management support to a caseload of clients with health and/or employment related barriers·
• Understanding of the practical impact of common health conditions on an individual’s ability to work.

We have two vacancies both full time but one post is for a materntiy cover (12 months).

Founded in 1992 by a group of mental health professionals, Working Well Trust was established to address the issue of low employment rates for people who have experienced mental health issues.  Since starting we have seen advances in the specialist support offered to people seeking employment and a change in cultural attitudes towards mental health.  

In the last few years we have adapted this approach to work with people with Autism (ASD), people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities or complex issues including homelessness or addiction. 

We focus on four main areas: 

Employment Support – offering support that meets the individual’s needs using both the traditional stepped approach and the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model. 

Employer support – enabling the recruitment and retention of their employees. 

Social Enterprises – we offer training within social enterprises for people who want to gain a new skill, increase their confidence and be part of a team. 

Business and Enterprise support – providing one to one advice to clients who wish to start up or expand an enterprise.

Your new company
As part of the work to support the integration of a leading University in London, the postholder will work closely with the HR Policy & Projects Manager in the review, development, and implementation of a new HR policy framework. This will include identifying gaps in existing policy provisions and contributing to and leading on the development and delivery of effective solutions. The postholder will also take a role in feedback processes with key stakeholders, including formal consultation with the recognised Trade Unions, and developing and implementing effective communication strategies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

* Keep abreast of pending legislative and regulatory changes, case law, and developments, and other good practice HR initiatives, to inform the development of new or revised HR Policies, Procedures, and other resources, and HR practices.

* Undertake background research and prepare reports, briefing papers, etc. for the development of people management strategies, policies, procedures, contracts, terms and conditions of service, ensuring that the University's HR policy resources remain fit for purpose.

* Draft new and/or updated documents (policies, procedures, guidance, and related resources) to reflect legislative and regulatory changes and HR best practice.

* In liaison with the HR Policy & Projects Manager and Head of Employee Relations & Policy Development, engage and consult with trade unions, Staff Networks, and other stakeholders in the development of people management strategies, policies, procedures, and good practice.

We are seeking a new Finance and Administration Officer following the upcoming retirement of a long-serving team member. A key member of the SLA central office team, the Finance and Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations and providing essential administrative support for our membership. In addition to administration support, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, book-keeping and effective day-to-day financial operations, producing financial reports using XERO and our CRM.

You will be experienced in financial and administration operations of a charity or similar , with an AAT qualification or matching worked experience. Familiarity with XERO will be an advantage. You will be able to bring understanding of cashflow and financial analysis of figure, working with accountants as required.

You will also have excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively with all stakeholders from our members, to funders to suppliers. You will be determined and have an excellent eye for financial and administrative detail. Your duties will include general administration and:

Financial operations and record-keeping

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records of all SLA accounts and petty cash; book-keeping
• Process and record all incoming payments, including foreign cheques (into bank account)
• Monitor cashflow and expenditure, keeping track of spending
• Pay invoices upon approval and ensure timely monthly payments (e.g. pensions, HMRC)
• Handle creditor and supplier communications and resolve related issues
• Monitor and follow up on overdue payments with a focus on membership payments

Invoicing and income tracking

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as an Individual Giving Officer developing and delivering our individual giving programme for regular giver, and cash donors.

An exciting and varied role, as the Individual Giving Officer, you will focus on the development of fundraising copy and creative, to thank donors, and to ask donors.This role will develop and deliver fundraising appeals, factoring in historic performance, testing and working with external agencies.

About you

You’ll be excited by developing fundraising design and copy to thank, steward and ask donors to support Sustrans.

Role Purpose

You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with hyperlocal, local, and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity.

You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the opportunity to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting to businesses.

In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the recruitment and stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for the administration, making sure all places are filled, planning the events, and helping all participants hit their fundraising targets.

Main Duties

Corporate Partnership

• Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through email updates, calls, social media activity and booking monthly check-ins, as well as sharing infographics, case studies, events information, and newsletters when useful.
• Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations. Make it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have.
• Host, tour, or present at a minimum of four organisations per week.
• Manage inquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses.
• Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar.
• Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, advertisements, social media content, and create WordPress pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events.
• Host Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs and follow up with a thank-you email the same week.
• Manage data entry and administration surrounding partnerships, including communication, contacts, setting targets, and funds raised, through software and our CRM, for example.
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to assign new and existing partners
• Provide weekly updates on targets and expected income, and work to provide accurate forecasting.

Events Fundraising

• Manage our existing events portfolio of The Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, Trafford Abseil, October Half Marathon, being responsible for their success.
• Investigate and develop new events to complement our 12-month calendar.
• Empower organisations to plan independent fundraising events and create a fundraising toolkit to support this.
• Support the running of our October Fundraising Dinner
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to project events income and build a 12-month fundraising pipeline.

General Duties

• Supporting the Fundraising Team et al, including administration, cover, and events attendance when required.
• Support the Fundraising & Finance Teams with data entry, CRM updates, and the creation of KPI data when required.
• Work within health & safety guidelines and Mustard Tree policies and procedures.
• Support other staff and departments, occasionally providing practical relief cover for work-streams, operational areas, classes and clubs.
•  Take responsibility for professional development, attending training courses as required.
• Lead by example, embodying Mustard Tree values and representing the charity as required.
• Contribute towards being an environmentally responsible organisation as part of day-to-day activities, including recycling and supporting our ‘paper-light’ practices.

• Experience in fundraising, sales and/or account management.

A leading London-based higher education institution is seeking an Interim Deputy Finance Director to provide short-term leadership and oversight of its core finance operations, financial accounting, and compliance functions.

We require a hands-on, technically strong finance professional who can ensure the smooth running of day-to-day financial processes, team management, and statutory compliance.

You will report to the Director of Finance & Procurement and manage a team of 13 via four direct reports. This is an ideal assignment for someone with experience, supporting audits, and ensuring financial controls are embedded and working.
