About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled line manager with experience in general welfare advice to join Sufra NW London. In this highly rewarding role, you will oversee the delivery of services that can measurably change lives by providing quality advice and support to those most in need.

Advice Services
• Manage the advice service by overseeing and supporting volunteers and advice staff at our Community Wellbeing Service and Foodbank including setting objectives, managing performance and providing feedback during supervisions.

Exciting Coordinator role at the heart of a national refugee and climate action project - 'Action Asylum'. Based in Liverpool, starts July 2026.
Action Asylum is a national, community-led, nature-based volunteering project that brings people seeking asylum and local residents together through practical climate and nature action - tree planting, habitat restoration, beach cleans, and food growing. Delivered across ten cities through a cross-sector network of refugee-sector organisations, Wildlife Trusts and local green partners, the project improves wellbeing and belonging, strengthens community cohesion, and contributes to nature recovery and climate resilience.
The project is led by Task Force Trust and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund's ‘Climate Action Fund’. A Central Coordination Team (CCT), hosted by Asylum Link Merseyside in Liverpool, provides national strategic oversight, partner coordination, communications, and evaluation across the full network.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced, values-driven coordinator to join the Action Asylum Central Coordination Team as National Coordinator. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of a genuinely innovative national project - one that sits at the intersection of migration, climate action, and community.
The National Coordinator is the operational engine of Action Asylum's national network. You will be the primary point of contact for Project Leads across all ten cities, keeping delivery on track, ensuring robust monitoring and reporting, and supporting partners to deliver safe, inclusive, high-quality programmes. You will also coordinate the Skills Exchange Programme, work jointly with the Project Director on the University of Nottingham's independent evaluation, and line-manage the Liverpool Action Asylum Project Lead.
You will be based at Asylum Link Merseyside in Liverpool as part of the CCT, working closely with the Project Director (your line manager), the Finance Manager, and the National Comms Officer. Flexible working is available and regular in-person presence at the CCT base is expected. The role is 4 days per week (0.8 FTE) on a fixed-term contract aligned to the three-year project (July 2026 – June 2029), with an expected start date of Monday 6 July 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for all ten city-level delivery partners, convening monthly national Project Lead meetings and quarterly national partnership network meetings.
• Manage the CODA reporting system, ensure timely partner reporting, compile bi-annual reports for funders, and support the University of Nottingham's independent evaluation (access, logistics, and city-level data - jointly with the Project Director).
• Oversee the continued co-production and delivery of the Skills Exchange Programme with all delivery partners and Wildlife Trusts throughout the three-year project.
• Support local partners with communications activity, contribute to the quarterly national newsletter, and work with the National Comms Officer and IMIX Media to ensure consistent, inclusive messaging across the network.
• Support the Project Director - who holds national safeguarding lead responsibility - in maintaining the project-wide safeguarding framework, risk log, and partner training records.
• Line-manage the Liverpool Action Asylum Project Lead (PL), who holds a combined role spanning Action Asylum project delivery and ALM's wider community wellbeing programme. This includes biannual supervisions, supporting the PL to meet their combined objectives, and offering pastoral support as needed.
• Play a key coordination role in national annual events (Year 2 Liverpool meet-up and Year 3 closing celebration) and support CAF network engagement.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
• Experience working in the refugee, asylum or migrant sector, with a genuine understanding of the barriers and strengths within these communities.

Main Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive immigration advice: on various immigration matters, including visa applications, settlement, asylum claims, and appeals within IAA Level 2 guidelines.
Conduct or delegate initial and further consultations with clients to assess their immigration advice eligibility and specific needs.
Finding and managing caseload: by setting up a triaging and appointments system for proactively identifying refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants, including people here

The Purpose of the Role
The Client Voice Officer will support RAI UK’s client engagement and participation agenda, ensuring that refugees and people seeking asylum meaningfully influence programme design, delivery, advocacy, and strategy.
The role will implement client voice related projects and strengthen RAI UK’s client voice systems, including structured feedback mechanisms and the Client Advisory Board (CAB).
The role will support the development of client-led research and evidence generation initiatives to inform programmes and policy positions. The role will also build relationships with migrant-led and grassroots organisations to ensure lived experience meaningfully shapes services, advocacy priorities, and external engagement. This role centres direct lived experience of forced displacement as a form of expertise.
Key Working Relationships:
The postholder will report to the Integration Lead Advisor and work in close collaboration with the Head of Programmes, RAI Director, Programme Managers, Senior Programme Development Advisor, Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer, Senior Programme and Awards Officer, Advocacy and Policy Managers, Communication team and other IRC UK teams.

Coordination of project delivery staff on the Pinterest project (without formal line management responsibility).
Key Accountabilities
Project Coordination
· Work in collaboration with the Senior Community Engagement and Volunteer Officer to coordinate a new psychosocial education and photography programme for refugee young people (aged 16–19).
· Support the delivery and facilitation of this programme as required.
· Develop the participant outreach plan and support the day-to-day communication with the participants of the project in coordination with the session facilitators.
· Work in collaboration with the Integration Lead Advisor, Technical Advisor for Women and Child Protection and other relevant programme colleagues to ensure that the project curriculum is adapted and delivered to be contextually appropriate, developmentally suitable, and aligned with RAI UK technical standards, with an emphasis on ensuring client voice is strengthened through a person-centred and strengths-based approach.
· Work with the Safeguarding Advisor to ensure full compliance with safeguarding, consent, data protection, and ethical storytelling requirements throughout project delivery.
· Work in collaboration with the Senior Community Engagement and Volunteer Officer and clients to co-create and coordinate two dissemination events showcasing youth photography and lived experience outputs.
· Ensure robust monitoring of outcomes and timely, high-quality donor reporting in line with IRC and funder requirements.
Community Engagement
· Strengthen and coordinate the Community Advisory Board (CAB).
· Provide support and training to CAB members, including organising external trainings as needed.
· Undertake associated administrative and coordination responsibilities related to client, community and CAB work, including meeting organisation, coordination and record-keeping of travel and expenses logistics, documentation including sensitive data management cross-departmentally including facilitation of DBS checks, client communication, and tracking actions to ensure accountability and follow-through.
· Proactively engage migrant-led and grassroots organisations to share best practices.
· Collaborate with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team to track quantitative outputs and qualitative outcomes of engagement with community, clients and CAB.
· Ensure engagement approaches are accessible and inclusive to reduce barriers to participation.
Client Voice to strengthen Programme Development and Internal Learning
· Develop and implement a Client Voice framework for RAI UK to embed participatory approaches into every stage of programming from design to delivery.
· Embed client voice into early stages of programming, including needs assessments, service design, and proposals.
· Work alongside colleagues to embed client voice and continuously improve participatory engagement approaches across RAI UK programme delivery.
· Contribute to internal and donor monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements.
· Collaborate with the MEL team to design tools to capture client voice in our programming and to measure client influence and participation.
· Pilot innovative approaches and build RAI UK evidence base on client and community participatory engagement.

· Collaborate with Advocacy Manager and Policy Manager to reflect and include client and CAB insights and experiences into policy and advocacy calls for action.
· Support initiatives equipping refugees to share lived experiences in collaboration with Communications team, promoting trauma-informed ethical storytelling aligned with safeguarding principles.

About the role
This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:
· To manage a multi-disciplinary team, including paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists.
· This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision, support and advice as well as line management and guidance around risk and safeguarding to clinicians across our other centres as required.
· To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.
· Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit-based services.
· To formulate psychological treatment and management plans for survivors of torture and to provide psychological treatment for a small caseload, using a range of psychological interventions in line with our clinical pathway that draws on a range of evidence based models for the treatment of survivors of torture.

About you
This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.
To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.
We also offer access to additional therapy training including NET and EMDR, as well as access to high quality clinical supervision and an opportunity to hold a small case load alongside your management practice
