About the Role
The successful candidate will contribute to the fulfilment of MSI’s mission in Nigeria and India by facilitating effective project and donor-funded grant management; supporting financial and narrative donor reporting and compliance; contributing to the development of strategies to strengthen capacity in our country programmes as needed and supporting key business functions and processes including business planning, monthly performance reviews and risk and compliance meetings.

About the role
As News and Media Manager, you will lead a hard-working and experienced team of media experts to bring to life Crisis’ work, demonstrate the solutions needed to tackle homelessness and inspire the public and politicians to join our mission to end it for good. You will oversee the development and delivery of high-profile media and communications campaigns, including our annual Christmas appeal, helping to build our brand. This is a fixed term role covering a secondment in the team, and with an upcoming general election, this is an exciting time take up the role for the next 10 months.
About you
You will have significant experience of working in a challenging, fast-paced news and media environment to secure high-profile coverage and championing the voices of marginalised people. Experience and knowledge of managing and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders is essential in this role, as is the ability to navigate competing priorities to develop and implement creative media strategies that reach a diverse range of audiences.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience of working with the media to help secure policy change at a national government level, outstanding people and project management skills and proven experience when it comes to handling reputational risk. You will also have exceptional news sense, with the ability to take a creative approach when seeking out new media opportunities.

About The Phoenix Way London and South East (TPWLSE)

Job Summary
You will take a leading role in developing and strengthening the regional and sub-regional networks of BRM groups, organisations and individuals in London and South East – these networks will both benefit from and shape the work of TPWLSE. You will also focus on building and developing the capacity (knowledge, skills and expertise) of BRM-led organisations in the region to operate effectively and successfully. This work will be carried out via networking meetings, regional and sub-regional briefings, training, fact-finding/learning sessions, group support and individual one-to-one support sessions with BRM groups and organisations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and run network development events to promote TPWLSE, to generate support for and involvement in TPWLSE’s work, to develop contacts and relationships with BRM organisations, groups and communities and to enable our learning about what support and resourcing BRM organisations and communities want and need from TPWLSE and others.
- Promote national and regional Phoenix Way funding opportunities and encourage applications. Promote funding opportunities from other funders.
- Deliver a combination of in-person, online and written briefings on funding and support available to groups and organisations in the region/sub-region.
- Set up and run training and learning events for BRM groups, organisations and communities to develop the skills, knowledge and expertise they need to operate effectively and successfully.
- Signpost organisations to capacity-building support and assist them in accessing that. Work with providers of capacity-building support to enable BRM groups and organisations to access that support.
- Develop connections with a broad range of regional, sub-regional and local stakeholders in order to steer their support, funding and resources towards and into BRM groups organisations and communities.
- Help to promote TPWLSE grant-making panels; help to recruit and support national and regional grants panel members.
- Gather and share feedback about TPWLSE’s plans activities in order to inform future plans and development. Contribute towards the evaluation of TPWLSE’s work, to include data collection/analysis and reporting to our partners and funders.

Person Specification
Experience
- Significant experience of anti-racist community development work, directly with black and racially minoritised communities.
- Significant experience of developing networks and directly outreaching with communities and groups.

The Volunteer Manager (VM) is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors across the regions, which includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, general oversight of mentoring relationships in different programmes, implementation of safeguarding measures, fundraising, meeting growth targets and leading all aspects of mentor management. The role will help to establish a pipeline across the regions, with 5000 new mentors for 2024. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
1MM VM’s main tasks include:

Helping 1MM to scale by sourcing sufficient volunteer mentors who go on to become confirmed matches for high quality mentoring relationships.

Ensuring mentors coming online have completed the platform mentor training within 1 month, and that this conversion results in sufficient and timely readiness of mentors to meet the needs of programmes with one month’s lead time.

Providing ongoing support to 1MM’’s Volunteer Providers (eg employer partners), maintaining strong relationships.

Securing one corporate sponsor per quarter.

Becoming familiar with the 1MM Platform, using it comfortably for ongoing administration and providing support to mentors.

Providing a weekly update on various aspects of mentor recruitment, including expected supply, actual registration, and confirmed matching. Share lessons learned on volunteer conversion and matching with the wider team.

About the role
We are looking for a Resource Mobilisation Manager to be based in the UK. This is not your typical fundraising role. This is an opportunity for someone with experience in institutional fundraising with an interest in shaping how Restless Development can restore power to young leaders through fundraising and partnerships in line with the ambitions in our new Global Resourcing Strategy. This role would sit on the Resourcing Leadership Team - a team responsible for ensuring the performance of our Global Resourcing Strategy with representatives from each Hub.
We are looking for someone with a background in either trusts & foundations, bilateral, multilateral or programme funding. The successful candidate will work with a network of Resource Mobilisation staff around the world to help us achieve the ambitious target and objectives in our Global Resourcing Strategy; raising £36 million for Restless Development’s work over the next 3 years, whilst also ensuring that more resources are channeled to youth civil society organisations and grassroots youth movements in the Global South so that they are able to drive change in their communities.
The role will be based in the UK, with responsibility for raising funds for the global agency, primarily from UK and European institutional donors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and donor cultivation:
- Identify, prospect and cultivate funding leads; working closely with Directors and their teams.
- Develop capacity statements and other fundraising resources which outline our expertise across the agency to support donor cultivation.
- Provide high-quality relationship and grant management to existing donors.
- Pitch and promote our work externally, particularly within Northern Europe.
Development of high-quality concepts, offers and proposals to institutional donors:
- Lead on the development of concepts, offers and proposals which showcase the expertise of the agency and are co-created with young people and youth civil society organisations where possible.
- Support with progressing priority global strategy leads and developing concepts and proposals as required.
Successfully implementing strategy:
- Lead on the successful delivery of Restless Development’s fundraising plan and objectives.
- Work to achieve the ambitions, objectives and targets outlined in the Global Resourcing Strategy.
Reporting & Analysis of Programme Funding Performance:

Job Profile
The post is a pivotal role in CAFOD’s Asia & Middle East (AME) team supporting the Head of Region in the management and co-ordination of regional programming and organisational processes ensuring smooth administration, programme cycle management and communications. The post holder will be responsible for building effective working relationships with peers in the International Programme Group, as well as with colleagues across CAFOD such as funding, finance, and communications. They will act as the AME focal point for communications, supporting programme teams to develop materials for internal and external audiences.
CAFOD’s Asia & Middle East region currently has core programmes in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Lebanon, Myanmar, occupied Palestinian territory and Israel, Sri Lanka and Syria.
Key Responsibilities
The scope of the post falls into the following broad functions:
- Support and co-ordination: supporting the Head of Region in the management and coordination of cross-regional work and relevant organisational processes.
- Communications: supporting the effective communication and flow of information across the regional team and with the rest of the organisation, including supporting programme teams to prepare communications materials.
- Programme & financial support: supporting the Head of Region in the management of cross-regional partnership projects/programmes, providing similar support to Programme Officers in the region when their workload requires.

Support and coordination:

- Support Programme Officers across the region in their work with partners, managing grants to partners and other aspects of programme support when programme workloads require.
Communications:
- Support the effective flow of information and communication within the regional team and across CAFOD.
- Act as a key point of contact for information on the region’s work and work collaboratively with programme staff and other teams to ensure that CAFOD’s work in the region is fully reflected in the organisational agenda (e.g. in campaigning, fundraising, communications or media work).
- Be an active source of internal communication, providing easy access to information by developing and maintaining a regional team SharePoint site, as well as other specific sites on the intranet, and engaging with the media team as appropriate.
Administration:
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Region, including correspondence, information systems, management of the team diary, preparation and follow-up of monthly team meetings, design and monitoring of filing systems, and maintenance of database and other systems to provide effective planning, communication and information flow,
- Accompany staff to ensure efficient and effective use of the Programme Cycle Management system, working in conjunction with other teams in CAFOD, to provide support when necessary (e.g. when access is disrupted),
- Be the first point of contact and/or provide essential administrative support to the regional teams.
- Organise and co-ordinate induction for new staff directly managed by the Head of Region
- Provide administrative support to other members of the team where required, including helping to organise programmes for overseas staff/partner visits, travel and accommodation needs, routine correspondence, and occasional cover for colleagues when absent,
- Coordinate the work of the region’s London-based volunteers and liaise with relevant staff on all volunteer-based issues.
Representation:
- Attend and represent the region in CAFOD networks, working groups and similar fora on behalf of the Head of Region, or other members of the team as required,
- In agreement with the Head of Region attend external meetings or events occasionally and identify and follow up on actions from these.
Focal Point Responsibilities
The Regional Support Officer is the AME regional focal point on Safe, Accountable, Dignified and Inclusive programming (SADI). This role is currently held by the other job-share, but this post-holder will deputise from time to time.
Your role is responsible for ensuring that the programming work you are accountable for is safe, accessible, dignified and inclusive, providing ongoing support and follow-up to our partners in this area.

Purpose of role

Primary responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy
· Work with the Executive Director to bring strategic assessment, planning, institutional positioning, and fundraising issues forward to the Board of Directors.

What you will be doing
Whilst The Forward Trust is predominantly funded through Government contracts, our Fundraising Team is responsible for generating £2.5 million per year from a diverse range of charitable sources including Trusts and Foundations, Corporate supporters, Individual donors and Events.
Our secret weapon is our ability to place our service-users at the heart of everything we do, including fundraising and events. With around a third of our workforce in active recovery and/or having had experience of the criminal justice system, and access to our community of over 15,000 individuals who have benefitted from our support, we are able to provide living proof of our long-lasting impact and bring to life the difference that our supporters enable us to make in the world.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Fundraising Team to help grow, diversify and maximise income from our range of fundraising events and campaigns. As an integral part of the team, you will support the Senior Events Manager to scope, organise and run our expanding annual calendar of: Special events, Marketing events, Challenge events and Operational/Regional events, to secure funding for our life changing and life-saving services across prisons and communities in the UK.
This role will sit within the Fundraising Team but will also support the Communications team planning and executing events to not only to generate charitable income but also to raise awareness about our services and impact to a wider audience (e.g. commissioners, policy makers and practitioners) in line with our business plan for the next 3 years which identifies new opportunities in the fields of offender management, mental health, housing, and gambling addiction services.
What we are looking for
Accountabilities
- Support the Senior Events Manager in implementing an annual calendar of events – includingscoping, organising and running challenge events and special events to budget and timescales.
- Support the Communications team in running brand awareness and stewardship events such as Parliamentary events, reunions, our annual staff awards and parliamentary events.
- Support the Senior Events Manager and Senior Events Officer on Special events and challengeevents with tasks as required.
- Work with the Senior Event Manager to grow income from all fundraising events.
- Work with the communications team to effectively promote all events to target audiences onsocial media platforms.
- Work with the communications team to keep our events webpages up to date.
- Keep track of income and expenditure relating to events.
- Work with colleagues from across the organisation to ensure that events being planned by otherteams are complimentary to the annual events programme and are being developed in line withchanging organisational and service needs and with necessary levels of service-user involvement.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that data held on the customer relationship management systemis up-to-date and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) across allareas of fundraising.
- Support the Senior Events Manager with corporate sponsorship proposals as/when required.
- Plan and manage your work-load effectively to meet your own and the Team’s overall targets.
- Attend team meetings, supervision and training sessions as required by the organisation.
- Keep up to date on all relevant matters and strive for continuous professional development.
- Represent the organisation at events and meetings, maintaining professional integrity.
- Take on other reasonable tasks and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by Line Manager.
- The individual will need to be flexible as there will be evening and weekend working required.

The Public Funding Manager will play an instrumental role within a dynamic team of professionals working together to deliver public funding needed for highly impactful conservation projects around the world that benefit people, nature and climate goals, including across Africa, Latin America, Asia Pacific and the Caribbean.
The Public Funding Manager is primarily responsible for managing the development and submission of high-quality project proposal applications to European public funding agencies that support TNC’s Shared Conservation Agenda programs in Europe and globally. The successful candidate will work with both conservation delivery and policy teams from around the TNC global network to ensure that funding proposals are crafted in a clear and compelling manner, communicate the technical and scientific nature of TNC’s global programs and meet the requirements of European public funders, including for gender equity and social inclusion, financial rigour, and convincing theories of change. Excellent writing, analytical and research skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate well with diverse teams and deliver through others.
She/he/they will help to develop strategic partnerships with relevant European public funding agencies, conservation organizations, and other partners, to deliver long-lasting results across all TNC’s priority goals, including initiatives that help to: tackle climate change; support sustainable food systems; conserve precious habitats and ecosystems; deliver innovative approaches for financing nature and climate; empower Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities; and ultimately protect the lands and water upon which all life depends.
We’re Looking for You:
We are looking for self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized candidates who have experience developing public partnerships, managing public sector funding processes, and working in business development teams.
The successful candidate will serve as team lead or team member for public funding development projects, depending on the proposal. She/he/they therefore must have experience preparing public funding proposals, including drafting technical text, budgets, theories of change, and log frames. A solid understanding of budgets as they relate to grant proposals is necessary. You will have a good understanding of the policy and funding priorities of target public funding agencies/departments, including both technical requirements and broader cross-cutting themes such as gender equity and social inclusion, safeguarding, and Overseas Development Assistance criteria.
You will manage (or establish when needed) critical tracking tools which are essential to building and maintaining strong public sector partnerships, including an information database for proposals, an opportunity pipeline, a calendar of submissions and other deadlines, and an overview of how project teams are delivering to public funders’ delivery milestones. You will also advise colleagues on European public funding opportunities and requirements, conducting public funding research as necessary, to develop and maintain a solid understanding of relevant trends and developments.
You have the ability to prioritize projects to keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines and manage supplemental material required for proposals. You are able to gather and synthesize information and communicate in a convincing and succinct form.
You enjoy building and facilitating internal networks and cross-team collaboration, coordinating other colleagues’ inputs towards shared end goals. You possess the ability to communicate sensitively with a diverse range of colleagues and partners from different cultures and backgrounds.
You will have the opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge about the latest trends in conservation, including opportunities to visit and experience some of our conservation work on the ground. This is one of two Public Funding Manager roles we are currently hiring for – this position focuses on public sector funding opportunities within the UK, France, and from EU institutions, therefore prior experience working in these markets will be advantageous. The accompanying position focuses on public sector funding opportunities within Germany and German-speaking countries, as well as from the Nordic region. What You’ll Bring:
· Bachelor’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in related field and a minimum 3 years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
