Job description

Area Manager covering Kent

Part time position - 18.75 hrs per week (0.5 FTE)

Salary £23,500 per annum - pro rata for hours worked

Working from home with frequent travel

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference to the lives of young people.  You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local schools and colleges, as well as working closely with our teams of volunteers to consult on the supply and delivery of our unique enterprise, careers and employability programmes.  The successful applicant will be a confident speaker, able to run workshops, presentations and especially delivery programmes & events effectively to wide ranging audiences.

You will need to have the ability to travel frequently throughout Kent.  The nature of the job probably precludes the risk of public transport, and as such access to a car for business use is essential in return for mileage allowance.  Infrequent attendance at some evening meetings & events will also be necessary.

To apply, submit your CV and a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role by no later than midday on Monday 2nd March 2020.

Interviews will be held on Friday 6th March.

Young Enterprise is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
