We are recruiting a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our fundraising team. The post holder will be responsible for raising income from medium and large trusts and foundations giving five and six-figure grants.
We are looking for someone with significant experience working in trusts and foundations fundraising, with a keen interest in our work to get children back in school and ready to learn. This role would suit someone who is looking to take the next step in their career. Additional support undertaking direct line management for the first time will be available if required.
This is an exciting time to join the team, with the opportunity to build on your current portfolio of existing and warm Trusts, some of which have supported School-Home Support for a number of years. The Learning and Skills Development Co-Ordinator will lead on developing a program of training, learning, volunteering and work experience for the residents of Homeless Oxfordshire that increase self esteem, engagement and motivation. You will work collaboratively and creatively across the organisation, as well as with partners, stake-holders, and the wider community. Improving community relations and help us secure support from local training providers and employers where resident participation in the wider community will help break down stigmas surrounding homelessness and addiction.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Devise and deliver a structured programme of training and education (both formal and informal) to improve our residents' skills and confidence which prepares them for the next stage of their lives.
- As part of the LEAP team work closely with the Activities Co-Ordinator to deliver a comprehensive programme of engagement, developing skills to move away from homelessness.
- Work with partners and residents to design training that is tailored to the needs of our residents.
- Develop and maintain external relationships with local training providers, organisations and employers to find various opportunities and maintain those relationships.
- Support on design of the peer mentoring training and traineeship programmes.
- Identify and support volunteering opportunities.
- Take a strengths-based approach to facilitate teams and residents identifying their talents, skills and build their self-esteem.

About LEAP
LEAP is built on the foundation of strong, supportive relationships that empower residents to move towards stable, independent living. Through one-to-one key worker support, trauma-informed care, and community engagement, residents rebuild trust, form friendships, and gain confidence. Activities like gardening, arts and crafts, and creative writing foster connection and personal growth, while group involvement helps residents feel part of a wider community. LEAP also supports residents to take steps into peer mentoring, volunteering, and training, helping them build positive networks beyond their immediate circle and develop the skills and confidence to thrive independently.
At LEAP, community involvement is at the heart of their work. Empowering residents through co-production is a key organisational goal. LEAP offer a range of inclusive engagement methods—from informal gatherings like group breakfasts and creative activities, to structured sessions such as support needs mapping and Residents’ Forums. These forums provide regular opportunities for feedback and co-design, with input reaching senior management and trustees. They are enhancing resident engagement by developing a mutual support network for staff with lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction. LEAP empowers people with lived experience of homelessness and/or addiction, helping them build the confidence and skills needed to move towards independent living and employment. Over three years, the project aims to support 750 individuals. Through a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities, residents will experience positive outcomes such as increased confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of inclusion. They will build supportive networks, learn key life skills and access training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. Many will gain qualifications and secure long-term accommodation. The project strengthens peer support and enables residents to shape services through formalised Residents’ Forums, ensuring their voices influence senior decision-making. For Homeless Oxfordshire, LEAP enhances our capacity to deliver peer-led support, builds staff knowledge, and informs service improvement. Wider community benefits include reduced stigma around homelessness, stronger partnerships with employers and organisations, and improved understanding of the issues faced by our residents—ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate society.

The Volunteer Engagement Manager forms an integral part of our Retail management team, working closely with our shop management and HR teams. Job Summary
The Advocacy and Campaigns Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering Put Children First, the advocacy and campaigning initiative of Alder Hey Children’s Charity. The post holder will be responsible for influencing decision-makers, engaging stakeholders, and leading impactful campaigns to ensure children’s health and wellbeing are prioritised in public policy.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong public affairs expertise, policy understanding, and excellent communication skills. The campaign is child led and will involve working with children to raise their voice. The post holder will also work with politicians, policymakers, clinicians and internal stakeholders, partner organisations, and the public to advocate for change, ensuring that Alder Hey Children’s Charity is a leading voice in children’s health policy and advocacy. This role is one of the first with a charity aligned to an NHS Trust and will appeal to someone with a strong desire to pioneer advocacy and campaigning in a unique setting.
Main Duties/Tasks
Advocacy & Campaigning Strategy

Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications to develop and deliver a proactive and inclusive advocacy and campaigning strategy to drive meaningful policy change that benefits children’s health.

Identify and respond to policy developments, advising on how Alder Hey Children’s Charity can influence key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Lead campaign planning and execution, ensuring activities engage supporters, stakeholders, and policymakers effectively.

Internal Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with the fundraising teams, grants team, marketing and communications and the Trust’s Communications team to ensure advocacy work aligns with broader charity and Trust objectives.

Partnership and Strategy Manager - Western Forest
The Partnerships and Strategy Manager at Western Forest will be responsible for managing and nurturing partnership relations across the Western Forest area. This role ensures that all partners are supported and resourced to develop and deliver the collective vision of the forest, helping to achieve key targets. The manager will work closely with national and regional organisations, Local Planning Authorities (LPAs), landowners, corporate partners, and developers to create strategic plans, secure significant projects, and develop long-term collaborative relationships. They will also assist with funding applications and support the Western Forest Director in establishing new partnerships.
Salary: £36,750-40,171, with annual pay review

Home Based (within the North and East region)
Communications at the RNLI is key to helping prevent drowning, manage the RNLI’s reputation and build support for our charity’s cause. We’re looking for an experienced PR or media professional in the North and East region who understands how to reach the right people with the right messages on the most effective channels.
Working alongside the RNLI’s Lifesaving and Engagement teams in the North and East, you’ll identify the risks and opportunities in the region and provide expert communications advice to support activity – whether it’s opening a new lifeboat station, mitigating risk to reputation or reaching key audiences with water safety and fundraising messages. You’ll produce and deliver a plan of activity that allows you to provide thoughtful, wide-ranging communications advice and support across media relations, internal and external stakeholder management and public affairs.
The RNLI is a 24/7 search and rescue organisation and you should be ready to work outside normal office hours. You will also be part of an out-of-hours duty press officer rota, which will require scheduled weekend and evening work.
You will be home-based with the ability to cover the region, which stretches from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Burnham-on-Crouch, including related inland areas, or work from the RNLI’s regional office in Thornaby-on-Tees. The ability to work independently and prioritise your work is essential. You will be expected to travel throughout the region.

The Mersey Forest, established in 1991, is a growing network of woodlands and green spaces across Cheshire and Merseyside. Key Responsibilities:

Main Purpose of the Role:
To lead the Support Team to provide emotional and practical support to families and individuals living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It includes leading the support team to provide 1-2-1 and group support provided in person or virtually, and creating and growing support networks for the wider Duchenne community which includes Duchenne parents/caregivers; young people and adults living with Duchenne; extended family and friends; and professionals in environments such as schools, local authorities and clinics.

We are Zarach, the children’s bed charity, and we’re on a mission to end child bed poverty, giving children the opportunity to engage at school and break the cycle of poverty.
In our nearly seven years as a registered charity, we’ve captured the hearts and attention of many individuals, community groups, businesses and funders who want to support us on our mission. We’ve also been given an incredible media platform from which we have raised awareness of child bed poverty at local, regional and national levels. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Zarach launched in Hartlepool & Stockton-on-Tees less than a year ago, and continues to grow with a launch in Middlesbrough in the coming months. We are looking to recruit a Family Engagement Officer to join our dedicated team. The successful applicant will have the exciting opportunity to be involved in the shaping and growth of this valuable local service as we grow in the Tees Valley.
As our ideal candidate you will need to be within commuting distance of the Tees Valley (particularly Middlesbrough, Hartlepool & Stockton), and be able to travel regularly to meet with the team and to conduct home visits across the region. You will also need to be able to attend our Leeds Warehouse, or other areas when required (approx. once per month).
You will be someone who has good experience of the broad range of day-to-day case management, working with external partners, volunteer support, and administrative activities that working in a dynamic charity brings, and someone who enjoys the busyness and variety of this.
Alongside your family support and engagement-related skills and experience, we’ll be looking to see that you have a genuine care for our mission and, as such, are self-motivated to do a great job and be a values-led member of our team.
Ideally, you’ll have experience of working with vulnerable families and managing volunteers in the charity sector, due to some of the specialties that come with this, such as safeguarding and partnership working. But charity experience is not essential if you can demonstrate an appetite and track record for continual learning and development across your working life to date.
