FareShare and the Irish social enterprise FoodCloud have been working together since 2016 in a partnership designed to help UK retailers address the issue of edible surplus food they may have within their stores. This innovative partnership, known as FareShare Go, brings together a technology platform and FareShare’s knowledge of the UK charity food redistribution market. Using technological solutions, we connect charities with edible surplus foods from several major retail and restaurant partners across the country.

The role

The Customer Support Executive role is responsible for assisting both internal and external stakeholders through out every action taken. This role is required to have in depth knowledge of all FareShare Go, and FareShare Uk’s policies and procedures, our various systems and platforms, excellent communication and analytical skills and a can-do attitude. The Customer Support Executive is the face of FareShare to our partner organisations, answering inbound queries to identify not only the issue but the root cause of the problem, and are responsible for seeing this through until the underlying cause has either been resolved or escalated to a stakeholder to investigate. This role goes beyond looking at these issues on a case-by-case basis, being responsible for highlighting trends across the issues that come across the support teams' desk to identify overarching themes and suggesting improvements to address these. Relationship management underpins every action carried out throughout the day, be it customer, stakeholder, or colleague facing to ensure that we are providing the best possible service we can. This can take many forms, from complaint handling with our customers when there is a retailer issue, expectation management when there is a customer misunderstanding, conflict resolution between our customers and/or retailers, to ensuring that all our records are detailed, up to date and inclusive of all information needed for our colleagues to carry out their role. This team sets the standard for customer support for FareShare, acting as brand ambassadors whilst advocating for our charities and retailers alike to ensure that we achieve our mission of ensuring that suitable food reaches our communities by supporting our community partners who tackle the causes behind the symptoms of food poverty in the United Kingdom. 

Main areas of responsibility

Resolving support issues

• Working with our charities to maintain seamless high quality support, including solving issues as they arise, and escalating to appropriate stakeholders.

Charity compliance

• Managing all charity compliance workstreams for one of four FSGo Regions through effective reporting, analysis, communication and intervention with charities to achieve agreed KPIs

 Effective use of CRM

• Understanding and using a Customer Relationship Management system to support all charities, by maintaining up to date records on all charities and scheduled donations. 

 Supporting regional teams

• Working closely with our regional field teams to transition charities from initial to ongoing support, supporting their engagement and retention work with collecting charities.

 Stakeholder support

• Working with the data support team to identify support trends, by analysing performance, gauging satisfaction and proactively escalating key issues.
• Working closely with our retailer partners and tech supplier to resolve issues and action requests.

Charity Recruitment and lead Generation

• Make charity eligibility assessments and understand their need and capacity for surplus food, in order to maximise the volume of food donated.
• Assisting with rollouts to new retailers, proof-of-concept and trial initiatives.

At Mosaic - Supporting Bereaved Children, we are clear that our mission is to enable children and young people who have lost someone very close to them to come to terms with their grief in a positive and caring way.  Our work transforms young lives and we'd like you to be part of this.

Researching and adivising on how we best engage with our audiences such as our volunteers, families and other charities through different channels and approaches.

Developing our social media content with the team, thinking about how young people use it and producing metrics on this.  Work with our young people, volunteers and others to create fantastic video content to show our impact.

Leading campaigns for Mosaic, driving impactful communication and building partnerships with the media and other organisations across Dorset to support our mission.

Be part of the team effort to create an overall five-year strategy for Mosaic as we grow, thinking about how we demonstrate our impact and the great relationship we have with schools and charity bodies across the county.

Create press releases and moments where we can tell everyone about the work we're doing, and supporting national campaigns on child bereavement.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience of working in communications, preferably with some marketing experience.

A good track record  of utilising a data-driven and goal-oriented approach to produce effective awareness campaigns

Experience of working with different  platforms, including Meta and TikTok.

Experience in analysing group to create tailored user-journeys

An understanding of media and confidence to engage with them at a local and regional level

We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services. 

Our ideal candidate will have experience in the ISVA role as well as a friendly and relational approach to working with clients.  You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. You will be a self-motivated individual who will engage with a wider range of people who have experience sexual violence, and other barriers to justice.

The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training, increase hepatitis C awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C. 

Working with the South West Peninsula ODN, The Hepatitis C Trust are now expanding this commitment through the introduction of the HCC (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) surveillance and early liver disease detection programme.

Join us as a Senior Community Organiser on the groundbreaking Power to Prosper project, a partnership between the New Economics Foundation and The Runnymede Trust. This initiative aims to address the underlying causes of poverty, inequality, and problem debt in the United Kingdom, focusing on racial equity and community empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Leadership and Strategy: Lead and manage a team of community organisers working in partnership with organisations across multiple locations in the UK. Develop and implement a comprehensive community organising strategy aligned with the project's goals.

● Community Engagement: Coach and support community organisers in building relationships and mobilising impacted communities, particularly those from Black and minority ethnic backgrounds, single-parent families, and households with disabled members.

● Campaign Development: Collaborate with partner organisations to design and execute impactful campaigns that address economic inequalities and advance racial justice.

● Capacity Building: Equip community members with organising and leadership skills to take collective action on local, regional, and national issues related to inequality, poverty, and problem debt.

● Research Collaboration: Work closely with research teams to integrate participatory action research (PAR) methodologies into community engagement activities. Analyse qualitative data and contribute to evidence-based advocacy.

Required Skills and Experience:

● Demonstrable experience in community organising, leadership, and campaign development.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme at HMP Belmarsh, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

We are recruiting a Community Development Officer to engage key partners and stakeholders in the Yorkshire region tailoring support, training and education to create suicide safer communities. 

In this role you will be: 

• Identifying, developing and maintaining effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide. 

• Proactively promoting suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide. 

• Equipping a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training and education. 

• Delivering training and raising awareness of products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers and other trainers. 

• Contributing to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the Strategic Plans. 

• Contributing to and promoting campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Regional and Strategic Plans. 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities 

• A proven track record of networking and building and managing effective relationships, tailoring the approach to meet the differing needs of the audience

• Experience as a qualified ASIST Trainer or willingness to gain qualification and experience 

• Experience of using own initiative and creativity to develop a project, programme or area of work 

• The ability to travel to different locations across the Yorkshire area to attend meetings, events and deliver training.

A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.

Our Lancashire Infant Feeding Support project is commissioned by Lancashire Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.

We are seeking a capable Peer Supporter who will support parents at East Lancashire Hospital Trust and at various community settings in Lancashire and offer support in service user homes. This role will mainly be based at out in the community, with some homeworking (expenses will be reimbursed).

About the Role

You will be responsible for offering breastfeeding support for parents within East Lancashire Hospital Trust and the community.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
 

· Providing breastfeeding support to families on the wards at East Lancashire Hospital Trust, in service user homes and community settings within Lancashire.

· Support in delivering inductions for volunteer peer supporters. 

· To report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the NCT management team and/or Infant Feeding Lead for referral onto partner agencies as appropriate.  

· To attend regular supervision/support sessions. 

· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Lancashire area and ensuring all support is accessible and inclusive.

· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
 
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours.

The role is 17.5 hours per week which will be worked Monday to Wednesday 09:00 – 15:00. This will be split across East Lancashire Hospital Trust, in service user homes and at community settings across Lancashire, however there is also some home-based working required.
