Main duties:

• To identify and research themes for each issue, sourcing and managing contributors to ensure the magazine has a clear, consistent, relevant and interesting voice to the readership.
• To lead on planning, sourcing contributors, writing and managing content of Under 5 magazine, 10 issues produced every year
• To liaise with Communications and External Affairs colleagues to ensure that corporate partnership publicity, advertorial, editorial and competition deals are delivered to meet terms of contra deals in relevant issues of Under 5.
• To write, edit and upload regular online news stories for selected digital communication including planning, writing and managing content for the fortnightly Under 5 e-newsletter.

Essential criteria:

• Proven experience of working on magazine in an editorial role with an ability to lead on commissioning, writing, sub-editing and proofing professional copy.
• Excellent journalistic writing skills, with the ability to write concise and accurate news copy.
• Clear understanding and practical experience of managing magazine print and production processes
• Strong interpersonal skills with direct experience of managing internal and external suppliers, journalists, production staff, advertisers and contributors.
• Strong creative and written skills with an ability to produce clear, accurate and interesting copy tailored for different audiences.

The successful candidate will have good knowledge within the Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) movement; experience working with the effects of Trauma, especially Sexual abuse trauma; experience of providing counselling by using an intersectional lens and able to demonstrate an understanding of how overlapping identities shape women’s experiences of trauma, particularly those from Black and minoritised ethnic backgrounds.

About the role

We’re looking for a Substance Misuse Worker with experience in mental health and substance use to join our Catford team. Based in a 24 hour residential service, you’ll support adults with severe and enduring mental health needs through rehabilitation and recovery focused support, using your specialist knowledge to help residents and the team overcome personal challenges.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About you

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. What the job involves

We’re looking for a creative and motivated account management professional to join our team at an incredibly exciting time for Prostate Cancer UK. You’ll be responsible for managing some of Prostate Cancer UK’s flagship charity partnerships.

The Partnerships Executive handles the management and development of Prostate Cancer UK’s strategic partnerships. You’ll be able to drive impact and value for both the charity and partners.

You’ll be working closely with key stakeholders to raise awareness amongst local communities across the UK and raise funds to invest into better treatments for men with prostate cancer. This role offers the chance to build strong and effective relationships both internally and externally and ensure that each partnership meets its goals. It will be necessary to show a diligent approach to partnership management as well as identify opportunities for growth. You’ll also be providing administrative support to the partnerships team including review of processes and ownership of monthly / quarterly reporting.

This is a six-month fixed term contract covering internal secondment within the team.

We take our experience out of the consulting room and onto the pavements to provide the same first opinion vet care you would expect to receive in a practice. 

StreetVet also works to remove barriers to accommodation and homelessness service through our Accredited Hostel and Day Centre Scheme, which helps hostels, day centres, and hubs implement positive pet policies and become pet-inclusive. This includes free veterinary care for registered pets, staff training, essential pet supplies, and access to virtual vet consultations via our telemedicine platform. The scheme empowers hostels to welcome pet owners without forcing them to choose between a roof over their head and their beloved companion.

Role Description

The Hostel & Day Centre Coordinator (North) will work closely with the Hostel and Day Centre Manager and the Coordinator (South) to ensure the effective administration and smooth day-to-day operations of the StreetVet Accredited Hostel & Day Centre Schemes. This role plays a key part in welcoming and onboarding new hostels and day centres into the network and supporting the ongoing engagement and success of existing partners. By fostering strong relationships with hostels, day centres, suppliers, and sponsors, the post holder will help build a connected and responsive community that ultimately supports more pets accessing hostels and day centres. Acting as a central point of contact, they will collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure queries are addressed efficiently and support is delivered consistently. 
 
StreetVet is a small team of 15 employees and so we expect people to be highly flexible in their roles, a team player with a “can do” attitude, willing to turn their hand to anything that needs to be done.

What will you do?

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and develop our fundraising team, shaping a cross-stream strategy and an integrated communications plan. You’ll be responsible for setting the strategic direction for fundraising, communications and events across the organisation. By doing so you will raise JET’s national profile, grow our supporter base and significantly increase income to support programme expansion. 

You’ll bring strong experience across multiple fundraising streams, with a proven track record of securing significant multi-year funding and building lasting relationships with funders—both individuals and organisations. Alongside leading our fundraising efforts, you’ll take ownership of our brand, ensuring clarity and consistency in our messaging, helping partners tell our story, and securing positive media coverage. 

You’ll lead the development of campaigns, fundraising and marketing activities, and digital engagement that not only enhance our national profile but also drive supporter engagement and income growth.

This is a home-based role, with travel required to and within the regions where we operate, including attendance at key events.

You will provide strategic leadership across fundraising, communications, marketing and events. Your work will be closely aligned with JET’s five-year strategy, enabling continued growth in funding and programme delivery.

This role requires occasional work outside of core hours (for example, if visiting a school breakfast club). Our Nourish programme supports schools to create a food environment that puts children and young people's nutrition first. The evidence-based, multi-component programme helps schools to develop action plans and policies to cover the food served across the whole school day. Nourish uses a collaborative whole school approach to food involving everyone across the school community to create lasting positive change.

Job purpose

· To deliver Nourish in 6-8 schools in Birmingham (primary, secondary and SEND settings)

Key tasks include

· Support with recruitment of schools to take part in Nourish

· Complete in person food audits in schools looking across the whole school day

· Support schools to create and deliver a food improvement plan (action plan)

· Develop and deliver workshops in schools to staff, parents and students based on their action plan (e.g. assemblies, cooking sessions, school food standards training, packed lunch advice, food ed/sensory tasting sessions)

· Support schools to write a school food policy

· Build relationships and work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, chefs, kitchen teams and senior leaders in schools to improve the food on offer to students

· Collect data and maintain accurate records relating to the project

· Work closely with our Evaluation team to complete all monitoring and evaluation

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist
organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to
supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to
violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls,
exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs, and

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Project Director to lead a major new initiative supporting the implementation of the revised Ambient Air Quality Directive (AAQD) across nine EU Member States. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a multi-country programme focused on reducing air pollution and climate emissions in Europe.

As Project Director, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the Europe Clean Air Quality project, ensuring it is well set up with strong governance, strategy, and stakeholder engagement. You will lead a dedicated project team, manage relationships with funders and partners, and supervise grant-making and technical assistance efforts across targeted Member States.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and implementing strategy across nine EU Member States and pan-EU initiatives.
• Leading technical assistance, policy advocacy, and strategic communications projects.
• Building partnerships with stakeholders in the most polluted regions to support AAQD transposition and implementation.
• Managing a team of project managers, analysts, consultants, and grantee partners.
• Overseeing operational planning, budgeting, and reporting to senior leadership and funders.
• Representing the project externally and ensuring alignment with Clean Air Fund’s broader Europe portfolio

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Extensive experience managing high-value, multi-country projects in the EU or internationally.
• Deep knowledge of energy transition or climate policy in the EU; air pollution expertise is a plus.
