About the role

As our Compliance Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring that CIUK operates with integrity and confidence in a complex global environment. Reporting to the Risk and Internal Audit Manager, you will be the organisation’s lead expert on compliance — from charity law and fundraising regulations to data protection and anti-financial crime measures.

This is both a strategic and hands-on position. You will advise senior leaders and trustees on regulatory obligations while working closely with teams across the organisation to embed a proactive culture of compliance. Your work will span everything from guiding fundraising campaigns to meet regulatory standards, to coordinating due diligence on international partners, to leading the organisational response to compliance incidents.

You will also shape and strengthen our internal frameworks by overseeing whistleblowing processes, leading investigations, and ensuring that policies, training, and reporting mechanisms remain robust and effective. At the same time, you will monitor emerging regulatory developments so that CIUK is always prepared for change and positioned to meet new challenges with confidence. Mind in Enfield and Barnet is seeking Community care coordinators for some of our most vulnerable users of emergency services. These roles have been developed to further support our service users alongside our statutory partners at North Middlesex NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department, to increase their wellbeing, confidence, social integration, and independence.

About the Role:

The Nightstop Coordinator role is busy and varied role, it involves working with young people from when they approach the service to when they find longer term accommodation. You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all young people, assessing each young person’s needs and risks, finding short and long term housing options, organising the logistics of each Nightstop placement and making sure that each Nightstop placement is safe.

You will also lead on the promotion of the service with the aim of recruiting new Nightstop volunteers. The role will be based in the London office and cover referrals from young people in London.

· Conduct needs and risk assessments and arrange Nightstop placements

Endell Street supports 53 men and women experiencing homelessness. We provide psychologically informed support to help residents progress through the Camden Hostels Pathway toward independence. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support clients with housing, health, substance use, and employment needs. We’re looking for someone resilient, trauma-informed, and relationship-focused. 

Rosebery Avenue, Clerkenwell – 1 x Support Worker 

Rosebery Avenue is a 24/7 Skills and Employment service with 22 self-contained flats. The focus is on helping residents move into training, education, or work. You’ll join a small, dedicated team in a psychologically informed environment, working closely with partners like St Mungo’s Recovery College to deliver tailored support. 

Islington Mental Health Service, Islington – 1 x Support Worker 

This service supports 50 adults with severe and enduring mental health needs across two hostels and two semi-independent projects. You’ll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to help residents build confidence, develop life skills, and work toward independent living. 

About You 

Above all, you will have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives. If you have a good understanding of the complex issues faced by homeless people; personal experience of homelessness yourself and some experience of supporting vulnerable people through a process of change, we encourage you to apply.

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role with a salary of approximately £55,000 per annum subject to skills and experience. This role is UK based, and candidates must have the current right to work in the UK. SPANA staff work remotely, attending our London office once or twice a month (or more if preferred).

Do you want to use your writing and relationship building skills to help end homelessness?

We are looking for a Trust Fundraising Officer to join our supportive Trusts and Grants fundraising team, playing a key role in helping raise vital funds for services that support people experiencing and recovering from homelessness to rebuild their lives.

In the role of Trust Fundraising Officer, you will work closely with a team of four other trust fundraisers, helping to meet our income target of circa £1.5m in 2025-26, and produce high quality written proposals and reports that reflect the impact of philanthropic support on the people we work with.

In this role, you will develop compelling fundraising proposals about our varied projects and will be supported to manage a portfolio of small to medium trusts and family foundations (giving up to £10,000). You will build strong relationships with trust funders, communicating the impact of their grants and helping them to feel connected to the work they are supporting.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team meetings and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

About you

We think this role will suit someone keen to develop their skills in fundraising. If you have some experience in a fundraising environment, and an understanding of trusts and grants our dedicated team will support you to learn all about the interests and working methods of trusts, foundations and charitable grant makers.

You will be able to demonstrate good organisation skills, interest in working collaboratively as part of a team; and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of different people while promoting the values of St Mungo’s and the work that we do as a charity.
