About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker, on a full time basis (35 hours per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Southampton Care Team.

YMCA Hastings provides medium-low supported accommodation for a total of 47 young people at risk of homelessness, aged 16 to 25, and care experienced young people under the age of 18. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Support Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building. Situated just of the seafront, the service has strong links with and contributes to the local community.

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our team, who will hold a caseload of residents and meet with them weekly to build a support plan. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Housing

• You will hold a caseload of young people who are housed across our sites with the support of the team.Support provided is light touch, and a good knowledge of partner agencies is essential for relevant signposting
• Interview young people to assess their suitability for our housing
• Support young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules in preparation for independent living.Helping young people navigate shared living skills is key to this role and includes facilitating house meetings, rotas and cleaning sessions
• Support young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent and liaise with housing benefit

You will play a key role in supporting our residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. You will develop and engage with our residents to produce tailored support plans which support their individual needs in successful rehabilitation and reintegration within the community. You will identify their needs, goals and skills, and then support and motivate them to achieve their potential. The service holds a strong focus on public protection and effective risk management.

The role

As Head of Income Generation, you will be leading the team and focus on increasing income across a number of different income streams including Corporate, Community, Events, Membership, Legacy, Individual Giving, Trusts and Philanthropy. There is also an incredible opportunity to develop Birmingham Dog's Home retail offering. You will also lead on Communications and ensure that you are raising the profile of the Charity within the Midlands.

You will lead on the strategy as well as working closely with the SLT to ensure, lead and direct the fundraising, commercial and new business by providing leadership, coaching and setting priorities and targets.

About you

The Head of Income Generation will be able to demonstrate;

- Experience in a senior fundraising role previously and have led on both implementing and devising a fundraising strategy.

- Experience in leading a team and working towards targets.

- Experience in leading on commercial activities specifically retail is desirable.

- You should have an interest in animal welfare and experience of developing suitable market research and testing plans.

-Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally

Jigsaw4u’s Piece of Mind Service helps 11 to 25 year-old young people in SW London overcome depression and/or anxiety. We are seeking 1 full-time counsellor, or 2 part-time counsellors, to support 15 referrals over 3 months, in the London Boroughs of Kingston and Richmond. 

There is the potential for this fixed-term contract to become permanent. 

Each young person receives 6 to 16 targeted, evidence based therapeutic support sessions.  Support sessions will be delivered at our Kingston-Upon Thames hub, at school, home or in the community where appropriate. The Violence Intervention Project (V.I.P) is a young Charity (founded in 2017), pioneering new approaches to working with young people (YP) involved in serious youth violence (SYV). Job Purpose: The Family Outreach worker plays a vital role in supporting the families of clients to enhance their stability, wellbeing, and access to essential services. In this role, the Family Outreach worker will provide personalised assistance to families, strengthen connections with external partners and community resources, and collaborate with the team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive support. Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be accountable for the sale and purchase ledgers for the various legal entities across the group of charities and companies for which the finance department is responsible.

You will match and code invoices, prepare and run BACS payments, reconciling bank statements and working out VAT payments.  You will provide a professional and efficient service to the finance function, monitoring how much is owed at all times and providing accurate financial information to the Finance Director as needed.

Finance Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

· Checking, coding and posting invoices

· Making payments via online banking.

· Processing financial support requests to charity beneficiaries

· Processing monthly credit card statements.

· Processing staff expenses

· Setting up of new customer and supplier accounts, and maintaining existing account details

· Reconciliation of supplier statements

· Liaising with suppliers and being the first point of contact for all relevant enquiries

· Raising sales invoices as and when required.

· Chasing customers for outstanding invoices and working to resolve queries as and when they arise.

Technical competencies required and demonstrable in your application:

· Sage knowledge would be advantageous for this role

About the Service

The aim of the Hertfordshire Mind Network Domestic Abuse Casework Service is to provide advice, information, and support to survivors of intimate partner or familial violence living in the community about the range, effectiveness, and suitability of options to improve their safety and that of their children. All advice will be based on a thorough understanding and assessment of risk and its management.

About the role

The purpose of the Hertfordshire Mind Network Community Outreach Worker role is to:

• Provide support and advocacy services to clients experiencing domestic abuse
• Ensure direct contact is made with the client within a specified time of an incident being reported to the police and to carry out a risk assessment.
• Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• Maintain and enhance service delivery standards and effectiveness.
• Support the team with case management and volume of referrals to ensure a short waiting time and referrals are contacted promptly and assessed appropriately.
• Collate and obtain feedback regarding the effectiveness of the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the wellbeing of clients who are affected by domestic abuse.
• Contribute to a reduction in repeat victimisation
• Reduce the number of victims withdrawals of witness statements
• Be aware of the impact on children of domestic abuse and make referrals to appropriate agencies to support the children where necessary.
• Increase the reporting of children at risk of harm
• Increase successful court outcomes by proactively supporting clients and work with the witness services for cases going to court
• Work with the wider team within Hertfordshire Mind Network and support clients in accessing additional support e.g. counselling, peer support, employment support and self-development courses
• Work with other professionals e.g. police, health, social care, housing, and signpost and liaise with such agencies as necessary
• Work with and signpost to other third sector partner agencies as necessary
• Provide a first point of contact for professionals and clients and pass on necessary cases or referrals to the Domestic Abuse Caseworker.
• Refer to the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) if required and local IDVA service.
