This role offers a senior position within the fundraising leadership team, a collaborative culture, and the opportunity to shape and expand Acorns’ work with major donors and trusts. As Head of Philanthropy, you will:
- Oversee the pipeline for all philanthropic income streams, ensuring regular prospect research and systematic cultivation
- Co-canvass with the CEO and Director of Income Generation, who are both actively engaged in major donor stewardship
- Oversee the restricted income process, ensuring full cost recovery and compelling propositions
- Play a key role on the Care Committee and as part of the fundraising leadership team
- Lead on governance and processes for philanthropic boards and high-value appeals, including the upcoming appeal
- Represent Acorns externally, building credibility and long-term relationships with senior supporters and funders
- Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising, retail and wider departments to maximise opportunities

SAVE Britain’s Heritage is looking for a proactive and collaborative Heritage Engagement Manager to strengthen our support for communities campaigning to save historic buildings.

Toolkit and Building of the Month — ensuring they are accessible, impactful and widely used. This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home and will join our Team Together Days in a co-working space in London a min of 1 a month, up to a max of 3 per month. These days are considered commuting days. You do not need to live in London to apply for this role, but you will need to consider what you feel is a reasonable commuting distance and to be able to attend our team days in London. About the role
You’re primarily responsible for providing daily administrative support to the helpline and managing written enquiries submitted through the Ask Our Nurses (AON) service. You’re responsible for supporting the nursing and helpline teams with administrative tasks to facilitate the delivery of high-quality nurse-led services
About you
You’re an effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills. You’re organised and able to juggle multiple projects and able to work to deadlines. You’re friendly and adaptable as well as being flexible to the needs of the service and the team.
You’ll ideally have experience of using excel to show statistical information and are familiar with the use of a CRM database.

The Role
As Senior Communications Officer, you will:

Develop and deliver SHA’s annual communications and media strategy.

Manage our website, social media, press relations, and stakeholder communications.

Represent SHA as a spokesperson – briefing experts, giving interviews, and maintaining our credibility with journalists and industry stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

About the role
Thousands of people in our communities are affected by breast cancer, and many of these are compelled to help by fundraising for Breast Cancer Now. To enable us to best support our network of fundraisers, and create a leading sector programme, we've just reconfigured our relationship fundraising team.
There is now an opportunity for a community fundraising executive to join the London, South and Wales team.
In this busy and exciting supporter-facing role, you’ll provide stewardship to our brilliant fundraisers, organising events from bake sales and balls to tractor runs and sponsored walks. And, alongside the other community fundraiser executives, you’ll be the first point of contact for supporters, playing a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the programme.
Through excellent relationship management, you’ll inspire our supporters to see through their fundraising plans, raise as much as possible and continue to support the charity in a way that’s right for them.
Reporting into an experienced community fundraiser, you’ll be nurtured and developed in your role. And have the opportunity to develop relationships with a wide variety of supporters, from individuals and volunteers to clubs, societies, groups and local companies.

The Scientific and Medical Network (SMN) is an educational charity that challenges the adequacy of scientific materialism by exploring the frontiers of science, consciousness, and spirituality. SMN produces webinars, online conferences, and a regular journal, Paradigm Explorer, aimed at academics, educational professionals, students, and the general public.
We need another member of the accounts team who can dedicate the time to fortify our accounts team and help with operational processes, and with organisational development.
Role Overview: This is a hands-on systems development role that combines operational financial administration with organisational development. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the existing bookkeeper to further bring order and clarity to SMN's financial processes while building a coherent framework within its new Chart of Accounts, that can accommodate the organisation's growing interconnected projects.
The role focuses on improvements such as new invoicing processes, streamlining payment workflows, and resolving banking issues - while helping to develop the systems and structures needed for long-term financial clarity and governance compliance.
This is a mid-level position that blends practical work with systems thinking, requiring someone who can work at both levels to support SMN's diverse activities across webinars, conferences, membership services, and multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Practical priorities
- Help new weekly payables cycle, working closely with Bookkeeper and Director with financial oversight
- Organise invoices from various projects, determining their place in the overall financial structure
- Initiate payments via CAF, PayPal, and other systems,
- Manage banking relationships with Barclays and CAF, maintaining efficient access and reporting
- Maintain banking mandates and ensure record-keeping remains clear, up-to-date, and efficient
- Support General Manager with hands-on financial operations and day-to-day payment processing
Financial Structure Development
- Help to implement and refine new Chart of Accounts with SMN Bookkeeper focusing on clear reporting
- Collaborate with project leads (particularly David Lorimer for Galileo Commission) to understand financial structures and reporting requirements
- Develop project reference systems linking budgets, codes, and stakeholders across diverse activities
- Work on 2026 organisational budgets once foundational systems are established
Collaborative Team Support
- Work as peer consultant with bookkeeper Rhanna Lei Cariaga, supporting her professional development
- Support Director Alan Malby, General Manager Andrew Polson , and Company Secretary Catherine Coubrough-Smith in meeting Charity Commission compliance requirements
- Contribute to Board reporting through accurate financial documentation and analysis
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Accounting qualification (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or significant equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with payment processing, banking relationships, and invoice management
- Proven ability to work with complex organisational structures and multiple projects
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software systems
- Strong relationship management skills for dealing with banks and financial institutions
- Collaborative working style with ability to support team development
- Practical problem-solving approach to operational challenges
Highly Desirable:
- Experience with charity/nonprofit financial management
- Knowledge of CAF banking and payment systems
- Understanding of UK Charity Commission requirements
- Experience in systems implementation and process improvement

This is an opportunity for a well-rounded accountant to join the Bild group of charities. The post-holder will be responsible for all management accounts across a group of four charities, whose combined turnover is circa £4m per year.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial controls
