GiveOut is an award-winning international LGBTQI community foundation bringing together our community and allies to support LGBTQI activism worldwide.

Across the world, courageous activists are working tirelessly to protect LGBTQI communities and advance equality. But they lack resources and funding is fragile, especially in the Global South. LGBTQI groups receive a tiny fraction of international development aid.

GiveOut exists to bridge this gap. We provide a platform for individuals, businesses and others to give tax efficiently in one place, ensuring sustained funding for LGBTQI human rights activism worldwide. By pooling donations, we provide grants to pioneering organisations, empowering them to defend our communities, tackle inequality and campaign for lasting change.

In just seven years, we have provided over £3 million in new funding, supporting nearly 60 LGBTQI organisations globally. Our grant partners report back on their achievements, and we share their impact with our supporters, demonstrating the tangible difference their generosity makes.

About the Role
Fundraising and philanthropic advocacy are at the heart of GiveOut’s work. As Philanthropy Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Philanthropy team, supporting our philanthropy programme and working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Senior Philanthropy Officers.

You will have responsibilities in three main areas: helping with internal programme coordination, supporting colleagues on key donor relationships and fundraising, and events.

You will be highly organised with a strong work ethic, enjoy organising events, and up for the challenge of raising lower level gifts from our community and allies. You will have the opportunity to develop organisational, project management and fundraising skills, learn about LGBTQI rights activism around the world, and see the impact of your work through the incredible LGBTQI organisations supported through GiveOut.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Programme & Team Coordination

  • Manage calendars, schedule internal meetings, help bring together agendas, book meeting rooms, and take minutes where required

  • Help maintain internal documents & systems such as fundraising pipeline, internal reporting and project management tools.

  • Maintain database to ensure accurate donor information in GiveOut’s CRM 

  • Coordinate monthly finance reconciliation tasks for Philanthropy Team

  • Work with colleagues on shared processes, including finance and reporting

  • Contribute to a dynamic, fun and effective organisation

• Supporting Donor Relationships

  • Triage donor requests, responding where appropriate 

  • Schedule external meetings and calls

  • Create and send invoices to donors 

  • Create fundraising campaigns across third party platforms such as Benevity, JustGiving and CAF. 

  • Ensure we have necessary information to claim Gift Aid on eligible donations

  • Support on reporting to donors on the impact of their giving, building donation reports from database, liaising with internal teams, and using templates to build reports

  • Assist in donor research and prospecting

• Events

  • Support on GiveOut online and in-person events, creating event plans, and coordinating both internally and externally

  • Support travel and manage itineraries for international guests 

  • Attend GiveOut and networking events, representing GiveOut and the Philanthropy Team as needed

Essential Skills and Experience

The Research Officer role enjoys a varied workload and brings the opportunity to work with autonomy and develop new skills within a friendly and dynamic team. You will work on a broad range of projects, including being involved with our grant management processes, working closely with the Research Manager and Director of Research, Policy and Support. The post-holder will also work closely with other departments across the charity, including producing engaging research communications content for print, online and social media, and will also have the opportunity to interact with senior researchers, clinicians and people affected by sarcoma.

Duties and Key Responsibilites 

Sarcoma UK’s research programme

• To support Sarcoma UK’s grant application processes under guidance from the Research Manager. This will include calls for proposals, identifying expert peer reviewers, administering a high-quality peer and lay review process, communication with applicants and potential applicants, administration of grant awards and supporting patient involvement.
• To provide support to the Grant Review Panel and Research Strategy Committee, including organising meetings and preparing minutes.
• To manage Sarcoma UK’s portfolio of active research grants, under guidance from the Research Manager. This will include use of grant management software for administration of newly awarded grants, monitoring progress of current grants, oversight of grant finances and reporting on final outputs.
• To support opportunities for patient involvement within the research programme, including managing a network of lay reviewers and facilitating new opportunities, with support from the Involvement and Volunteering Coordinator.
• To support new developments in Sarcoma UK’s research programme, including organising and attending events, collaborative funding calls and initiatives to support early career researchers.

Research Impact and Communications

• To monitor and gather outputs and long-term impact of research grants funded by Sarcoma UK and support in ensuring these are shared with internal and external audiences.
• To plan and produce engaging and reactive and proactive communications about sarcoma research, including website, social media, written and video content, working with the Research Manager and Communications Team to ensure our research activities and outcomes are shared with the sarcoma community and wider public.
• To proactively engage with grant holders to gather impactful insights and to support engaging communication about sarcoma research.
• To regularly review and update Sarcoma UK’s website with progress updates on research grants and promote funding opportunities.
• To support work undertaken by the Fundraising Team where required, such as lab tours and supplying information about funded grants for donor reports.

External relationships

• To be a point of contact for Sarcoma UK grant holders and their host institutions.
• To maintain positive relationships with Sarcoma UK’s research panels, potential grant applications, researchers and clinicians, and the wider sarcoma research community.
• To work directly with a range of people personally affected by sarcoma to place the voice of lived experience at the heart of our research programme.

General

• To support the integration of the research programme across Sarcoma UK.
• Attend Sarcoma UK events and contribute to the wider work of Sarcoma UK.
• Travel occasionally to meetings and events. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required (time off in lieu will be given).
• Work flexibly and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, undertaking other duties as required to support the wider operations of Sarcoma UK.

In Spring 2028, the National Gallery will launch a new, public-facing Research Centre to facilitate and showcase our world-leading research in the history and science of painting. This will be a complex space sitting at the intersection of multiple valued research stakeholders both within and beyond the Gallery, including the Gallery’s own wide array of research-active staff, our Artists-in-Residence, specialist users of our extensive Library & Archive collections, and a research-engaged general public attending events and consulting materials.

We are now recruiting for a new role, a Research Centre Manager, to support in the creative planning and daily delivery of an exceptional experience at the Research Centre. The role-holder will provide vital clarity and consistency in the day-to-day running of this multifaceted space to ensure a smoothly functioning whole. This includes coordinating all aspects of the Research Centre operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the Research Centre facilities and administration. They will also think creatively about the Centre’s different spaces and, alongside Gallery colleagues, will help produce exciting research programming.

An ideal candidate will have experience in a comparable multifaceted role, and will bring to the Gallery strong leadership, excellent communication, creative programming, innovative problem-solving, and strong organisational skills to manage both day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the Centre.

This is a full time, permanent position and requires on-site working 5 days per week.

About Pregnant Then Screwed (PTS) 

Pregnant Then Screwed (PTS) is the leading charity working to end the motherhood penalty. Founded on International Women’s Day in 2015, our work is rooted in lived experience and delivered with fearless conviction. We campaign for change, provide support and advice, and build community with working parents across the UK. We do this with rigour, rage, and love.

The Role

Pregnant Then Screwed’s Tribunal Mentor Programme is a peer-to-peer support service for women and parents taking legal action against an employer for pregnancy and maternity discrimination. We match mentees with volunteer mentors who have been through the Employment Tribunal process themselves for 12 weeks of support through weekly calls. We relaunched the programme in October 2025, and now, with funding from The National Lottery, we are looking for a part time Support Services Coordinator to help us grow and maintain new mentoring matches. 

As the Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and inducting mentees and volunteers onto the programme and supporting matches throughout their journey. You’ll also drive engagement with the programme, and develop recruitment strategies for potential volunteers and mentees. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the Tribunal Mentor Programme and volunteers. 

• Welcoming new mentee and mentor applicants to the programme through 121 and group calls. 

• Recruitment and engagement of new volunteers and participants. 

• Monitoring our Community WhatsApp groups and responding to enquiries.

• Hosting regularly mentor and mentee online check-ins.

• Researching further support and signposting options for mentees.

• General administrative tasks, including managing volunteer and mentoring data, supporting the Head of Support Services with reporting data and responding to general enquiries. 

• Supporting our Head of Support Services with volunteer training, policy and process development. 

• Supporting other Support Services projects where necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Volunteer engagement - demonstrated through experience managing or coordinating volunteers.
• Diversity, equity and inclusion focus, able to demonstrate a deep understanding of (and confidence in discussing) anti-oppression. 
• Engaging written and verbal communication skills - demonstrated through a proven ability to craft engaging newsletters, social posts or discussion prompts.
• Mentee and mentor growth and retention - demonstrated through experience in growing and sustaining a befriending or mentoring programme (or transferable skills from other types of service user engagement)
• Technologically proficient and confident - demonstrated through experience using Beacon or other CRM systems and digital work tools.

What We Offer 

• Flexible working is embedded in our culture with employees working different hours, and days of the week.

 In UK Youth’s Impact department, we find, create and use evidence to respond to the needs and preferences of young people and the professionals who support them.  Reporting to the Evaluation & Learning Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a portfolio of research and evaluation projects. This will involve conducting research in-house and coordinating with external partners and the organisations we fund to build and share high-quality evidence. There will be opportunities to lead on fieldwork, data analysis, reporting and insight sharing with strategic guidance and hands-on support from other members of the team. 

 You will be organised, keen to develop your research skills and have a passion for working with data. You will support high profile research and evaluation projects, including the evaluation of the Adventures Away From Home Fund – a major, Government-funded outdoor learning programme. SafeLives have been commissioned to facilitate the Partnership’s Co-Production Panel and support the development of a network of survivors with lived experience of domestic abuse in Hertfordshire, through their Authentic Voice practice model.

Key purpose of role:

• To truly transform the response to domestic abuse, we must place the experience of survivors at the heart of everything we do.
• Supporting the organisational commitment of SafeLives, and that of the Partnership, to Authentic Voice.
• Working within the Innovation team and alongside the Partnership to develop an influential panel, a powerful approach to gathering and amplifying survivor voices, challenging ‘them and us’ attitudes, you will have the skills and values to support and engage with survivors of domestic abuse.
• Coordinating the implementation of the Authentic Voice principles, embedding co-creation throughout the work of the Partnership.
• Establishing creative ways to reach out to survivors across Hertfordshire including those who have increased vulnerability or multiple disadvantage, those who are marginalised and others who have not yet found their voice.
• Ensuring all who want to have their voice heard, are heard and that what we learn from their lived experience shapes the response to domestic abuse in Hertfordshire and nationally.
• Demonstrating the value of expertise by experience to influence all stakeholders, breaking down perceptions of ‘them and us’ and uniting voices of experts by experience to keep families safe and end domestic abuse.

About the role

Sightsavers are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to be responsible for the programmatic management and implementation/delivery of the Morbidity Management and Disability Prevention (MMDP) and Disease Management and Disability Inclusion (DMDI) targets under the Reaching the Last Mile (RLM) MMDP ELMA/EFLA (Eliminating LF in Africa) DMDI projects in Uganda.

As the Project Coordinator MMDP you will deliver the programme targets and work closely with the Ministry of Health NTD Program to help with impact assessment and advocacy for the elimination of Lymphatic Filariasis in Uganda and health system strengthening. You will also identify and contribute to programme growth and development in collaboration with partners and colleagues.

Further responsibilities include:

Strategic Programme Planning and Development

• Participate in strategic planning processes to successfully drive the direction and delivery of cost-effective services for MMDP and ensure the objectives under RLM ELMA/ELFA are met and contribute to the national policies and elimination goals in Uganda.

• In collaboration with partners and Ministry of Health, help develop strategies to address the hydrocele and lymphoedema cases in Uganda as part of efforts towards elimination of NTDs in Uganda.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the programme to ensure that MMDP maps are available to help track and ensure that patients get counselling and treatment/surgeries.

• Deliver on Facility assessments - Hydrocele Facility Assessment (HFAT) and Lymphedema Facility Assessment (LFAT).

• Support patient estimation and uptake using WHO recommend approaches for patients' identification.

• Coordinate the planning, budgeting, progress tracking of both plan and budget and reporting of RLM ELMA/ELFA MMDP activities in Uganda.

Programme Management

• Provide effective management, coordination, technical advice and resource allocation necessary to support delivery of MMDP/DMDI (hydrocoele and lymphoedema) under RLM ELMA/ELFA funding.

• Support NGO partners to establish and maintain effective relationships with the Ministry of Health and other partners in order to advance sustainable national plans and integrate them into the existing public health delivery systems.

• Support implementation of Social and Behaviour Change Initiatives for Lymphedema and Hydrocele Management in Uganda.

• Oversee the surgical and self-care supply aspect of the MMDP through surgical supply of Filaricele Anatomical Surgical Task Trainer (FASTT) materials, provision of FASTT Training Package, washing kit for lymphoedema management (using lymphoedema calculator).

• Provide support for surgical delivery of hydrocoele and lymphoedema MMDP/DMDI from provision of management and surgery to case reporting, supervision and post-surgical data review and analysis.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Lead on supporting each implementing partner in developing a system for

monitoring and evaluating programme performance.

• Provide direction and support to assist country research teams and help them to identify operational research opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NTD elimination efforts.

Advocacy and Strategic Alliances

• Build and maintain meaningful working relationships with a variety of partners and other stakeholders at national level to strengthen opportunities for advocacy and higher visibility.

• Ensure programme information flow is maintained across the Sightsavers’ country teams and directorates, the Ministries of Health and other key partners.

Skills and Experience

As the successful candidate you will have experience, and/or a post graduate degree, in Public Health, Medical/Biological/Social Sciences or related disciplines, and have extensive experience on strategic programme development. We are also keen for the post holder to have a wealth of experience in programme/ project management in an INGO environment.

Further requirements include:

• Technical knowledge on Lymphatic Filariasis and any other Preventive Chemotherapy NTDs in Uganda.

• Experience of managing and community-based health interventions.

• A demonstrated record of accomplishment in developing and managing public health programmes.

• Understanding of the health system in Uganda.

• Experience of monitoring and evaluation (including ability to conduct and supervise impact assessment in one or more of the five PC NTDs).

You will be responsible for the planning and coordination of grant application rounds across multiple funding programmes and be the first point of contact for applicants and manage the peer review process. You’ll also play a vital role in maintaining and improving grant management system (managed within Salesforce) and contribute to the design and delivery of an inclusive and accessible application processes. 

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and project coordination skills, strong communication and liaising abilities, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Experience using Salesforce or working in a grant-making environment is highly desirable, but we welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds who are ready to learn and grow in the role.

The Role

We’re seeking a Customer Operations Coordinator to join our team!

 What the job involves
You’ll be joining the Gift Aid, Compliance and Fulfilment Team within Customer Engagement and Experience. Your main focus will be making sure our supporters feel valued and appreciated for their contributions, helping to build lasting relationships so they want to support us again. You’ll also play an important part in a new project to refresh how Prostate Cancer UK thanks its supporters.

Working closely with colleagues in Ecommerce, Fulfilment, and Compliance, you’ll help with admin tasks and manage incoming queries, with an initial focus on Trading. You’ll keep our CRM, Raiser’s Edge NXT, accurate and up to date through daily data input, following our policies, and other regulatory requirements. You’ll develop a good understanding of our activity calendar and how it affects our customers, build positive relationships with them, and act as their advocate internally and with our fulfilment house when needed.

We’re a busy, fast-growing department so we’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn with us and comfortable adapting to a rapidly changing environment.

The Carers Centre provides support to over 2000 unpaid family carers in the city of Brighton & Hove every year. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated group of staff and volunteers to deliver vital and innovative services to carers across our city.

AIMS OF THE JOB: 

1. To establish and develop volunteering opportunities at the Carers Centre
2. To work with the management team to review and reinforce effective policies and procedures for volunteer-supported projects based on best practice
3. To develop and implement systems for recruitment and selection of volunteers from a range of backgrounds
4. To deliver a programme of induction and ongoing training for volunteers
5. To supervise a pool of volunteers to support carers safely to achieve positive changes within their lives and to enable volunteers to feel fulfilled in their role

Main Responsibilities

· Assisting the CEO and the Executive Team Members in the development and delivery of the Society’s many activities and projects to ensure all tasks are being completed within timelines, effectively and to high standards

· Supporting the Conferences and Events Manager in the development and running of an extensive programme of network events and workshops, and the Society’s annual conference

· Promoting the Society and its events on social media platforms including LinkedIn, Bluesky, and X

· Scheduling meetings, organising papers, and some note/minute taking, as required

· Ensuring all actions are recorded and completed following Meetings of the Board of Trustees and standing committee and working group meetings.

· Developing an understanding of the Society’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and managing related data.

· Ensuring the SRHE website is kept up to date, in liaison with other team members

· Providing quality customer service for members and external contacts

Qualifications, skills and experience

You will need to demonstrate that you possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

· Demonstrable experience in a team support role or an administrative assistant role

· Excellent organisation and administration skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Good numeracy skills

· Excellent knowledge/application of office IT systems (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
