As Regular Giving Officer, you will play a critical role in growing and maintaining income at the Hospice of St Francis and in positioning us as the local charity of choice amongst our community.
Reporting into the Head of Philanthropy and working closely with the rest of the Fundraising Department, as well as with the Communications and Volunteering Departments, you will personally manage and grow the Hospice of St Francis’s Regular and Mid-Level Giving Programme, also known as Friends of St Francis.
You will forge strong working relationships and collaborate closely with the Communications Department, responsible for Appeal Giving, and the Wellbeing Department, responsible for in-memory giving and the Light up a Life programme, together establishing an integrated individual giving programme.
The Friends of St Francis was established in 2024, following a full review of the programme and has just marked its first anniversary. This role will be responsible for reviewing, developing and implementing a strategy that will ensure the retention and recruitment of regular givers through refining the offering and providing a thoughtful engagement plan. You will also be responsible for developing a new mid-value Friends segment, ensuring its alignment with the Major Donor programme and other offerings.
With an eye to growing income, you will also explore and implement options to grow the supporter base, including payroll giving and testing the conversion of one-time donors. You will also consider options to optimise the programme for the digital age, taking into consideration the demographic of our supporters.
This is an exciting role with lots of potential to utilise your skills and test and implement different strategies to grow the regular giving base at the Hospice of St Francis.
Strategy Development and Implementation
· Review, develop and implement a regular giving strategy, incorporating the Friends of St Francis Programme and testing new initiatives such as Payroll Giving and index-linked giving
· Research, develop and implement associated objectives, workplans and KPIs to track progress and make adaptations to plans as required
· Work closely with stakeholders, to curate and implement compelling regular giving plans with a focus on supporter experience and cost-efficiency
· Identify, develop and test new initiatives to grow regular giving
Management of Regular Giving Programme
· Develop and implement a supporter engagement plan for Friends of St Francis
· Drive acquisition of new supporters, including by converting appeals and one-off donors, and develop initiatives to track and re-engage lapsed supporters
· Manage the welcome journey for new supporters
· Develop supporter journeys, in particular with Legacy, in-mem and Appeal Giving
· Develop and implement a differentiated mid-value giving programme
· Working with the Head of Philanthropy, identify supporters with potential to become major givers
· Provide adhoc support to the Legacy Giving Lead
· Lead cross-hospice campaigns to drive regular giving
Planning and administration
· Work with the CRM team to ensure smooth administration of the regular giving programme and support with improvement and updates to the system
· Maintain accurate records of donor communications
· Personally maintain accurate supporter data and adhere to GDPR and fundraising regulations
· Feed into annual planning process, working with the Head of Philanthropy to inform required expenditure budget to run and grow the regular giving programme
· Responsible for ensuring GDPR compliance for the regular giving programme
· Work with the Communications team to manage and maintain campaign collateral such as templates, thank-you letters, and welcome packs, ensuring brand and message consistency.
· Together with the volunteering team, identify activities that would benefit from the support of volunteers and lead on their engagement and management, including securing and managing them
Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Knowledge & Approach
Essential
· At least three years’ experience in a individual or regular giving role, or with relevant comparable experience for e.g. in marketing
· Demonstrable experience of maintaining and growing income through an individual giving programme
· Strong data analysis skills and experience of utilising segmented data to improve supporter engagement, and improve life-time value
· Experience of running regular giving recruitment campaigns
· Experience of creating engaging supporter communications – both digital and in print
· Experience of using and a CRM database, and of developing systems and processes to ensure good donor management
· Experience of developing and tracking KPIs
· Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
· Working knowledge of the Code of Fundraising and Data Protection laws
· Understanding of how to manage a regular giving programme in a cost-efficient way that maximises ROI
· Practical understanding of trends in regular giving, and willingness to test and iterate new ideas to drive sustainable income growth
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online marketing platforms
· Understanding of how to use online and offline means to drive regular giving

About Woman's Trust
Woman’s Trust was established almost thirty years ago and is the leading specialist in mental health services for women. Role Overview
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Property Department
Coordinator to provide high-level executive support to the Director of Property and coordination
across the department. This pivotal role will combine Executive Assistant responsibilities with
departmental coordination, ensuring the smooth running of operations, the effective flow of
information, and the delivery of accurate data and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Director of Property and two Heads of Function, whose specialist
teams manage the organisation’s diverse property portfolio. You will play a key role in preparing
materials for the Board of Trustees, coordinating the quarterly Property Committee, and
supporting departmental projects.
You will ensure timely flow of information and reporting between the team and stakeholders,
including SLT, Trustees and suppliers / contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Assistant to the Director of Property
- Manage the Director’s diary, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes of meetings, and follow up actions for key meetings.
- Draft correspondence, briefings, and presentations for the Director.
- Support the Director in tracking actions, deadlines and project progress.
Department Coordination
- Act as the central coordination point across the department, ensuring smooth communication between the Director, Heads of Functions, and their teams.
- Maintain departmental work plans, timelines, and trackers.

measure performance. - Collaborate with both the Head of IT and the Sustainability and Impact Lead, to develop
the presentation of data for reporting purposes. - Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with organisational policies.
Board and Committee Support - Coordinate quarterly Property Committee meetings: arrange logistics, prepare and
circulate papers, and take accurate minutes. - Work with the Director to prepare papers and reports for the Board of Trustees.
- Ensure all governance requirements are met in relation to committee administration.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
Essential:
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple
priorities, working with various stakeholders. - Experience as an executive assistant, project coordinator, or similar role.
- Confident in analysing data and presenting it in a clear, accessible format, and proficient
in using data management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, CRM. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with
digital collaboration tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We support people in a huge range of difficult situations, including those who use drugs and alcohol, and those whose home life is affected by drugs, mental health and/or domestic violence. We're the largest charity of this type in the country, supporting tens of thousands of people in their own journeys. Hundreds of staff work across our organisation to support some of the most vulnerable people in society. Among the many services we offer are:
- Needle exchanges, both in-person and anonymous
- Screening for blood-borne viruses
- Drug testing for fentanyl, nitazene and other harmful additives

Our technology
We've got complex needs: recording, monitoring and reviewing information about our clients, with their informed consent. Our in-house web application acts as an electronic patient record, a case management system, a quality management system, and more - it's grown over the last 15 years!
We started out with a Perl application, and have improved it aggressively over the years. All our software is deployed using Docker containers using ECS; much of it using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Pulumi. Our data is stored in a serverless/autoscaling MySQL database.
Newer work is often written in TypeScript, using NestJS and SvelteKit. We’ll use a variety of testing tools in both languages: end-to-end, integration and unit testing are all covered.
We practice a genuinely blame-free culture with incidents/mistakes and always focus our conversations on improving processes, not individual recrimination.

About you!
An ideal candidate will have some familiarity with SQL: our team write queries often!
We’d love to see candidates with some strong knowledge of HTML and CSS beyond the basics. We don't need you to know any frameworks in particular - but we'd love to see great fundamentals for building on the web, so you should have some experience building applications using JavaScript in the browser.
Debugging and testing experience is a must, in any language - we think that's a highly transferrable skill.
Previous experience with Perl is not a strict requirement. We're happy to show you the ropes - you'll be up to speed in no time!
You should really care about security. You’ll be happy to openly discuss approaches which make the software as safe as possible for people who use our services.
You’ll relish – or at least, enjoy the challenge of - diving into legacy code and documenting, improving and testing the code our users rely on. When you choose to rebuild things, it’s because you genuinely understand the previous solution and its shortcomings.
You'll be a curious, generalist thinker, never limiting yourself to one narrow specialty. As a team, we'll jump from CSS to AWS infrastructure in a day’s work. Of course, we don’t know everything: it's a perfect environment for learning; “I don’t know, let me check” is always a good answer.

- Operational Oversight and Delivery
- Lead and manage a small in-house operations team (2 staff members) and oversee the work of external consultants as required to deliver operational plans aligned with strategic goals.

The Taskforce for Lung Health (the secretariat for which is provided by Asthma + Lung UK) is a collaboration of the largest ever group of organisations and individuals who have come together, as a team, to improve lung health. The Taskforce has over 50 members including patients, carers, healthcare professionals, the voluntary sector and professional associations. Senior Policy and Engagement Officer – Taskforce for Lung Health
This role will support the Taskforce to deliver its ambitious programme of activity for 2026, working collaboratively with members and partners to deliver meaningful change for people with respiratory conditions. You will lead and drive forward Taskforce policy and influencing work across priority areas, producing high-quality evidence-based outputs, working in collaboration with Taskforce members and partners, including patients, clinicians, other charities and corporate partners. You will develop the Taskforce’s engagement strategy, identifying opportunities to increase engagement and harness the potential of our collective endeavours to drive improvements in care for people with respiratory conditions, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders. This role can be either Office based or Remote based.
Senior Policy Officer – Asthma + Lung UK
Reporting to the Health Policy Manager, you will carry out proactive policy and influencing work across a range of health policy areas related to NHS services, treatment and care for lung conditions. You will work closely with other policy team members to influence change, and draft impactful policy positions and recommendations, using research, patient experience, clear analysis and strong arguments. You will work with a range of important external stakeholders, building strong relationships and influencing positive change. This role is Office based only.

You will have experience of developing robust policy positions and campaigning for policy change.
