As a Project Worker, you’ll play a leading role in helping clients understand and manage their emotional and mental health needs, while developing the confidence and skills to live independently. Please note that this role involves shift work, including a combination of early shifts (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) and late shifts (2:30 PM – 10:00 PM), with shifts scheduled every other weekend.

Job Title: Dual Diagnosis Worker

Location: Based within a residential service across 4 sites in Croydon. (Walking distance from East Croydon train and tram links). Unfortunately this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £32,000

Shift Pattern: 12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday working between 10:00 - 18:00. Hours may vary depending on service needs. 

About the Role

We’re looking for a Dual Diagnosis Worker with expertise in mental health and substance use to join our team in Croydon. Based in a residential service, you’ll support residents with mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis. In this role, you’ll use your specialist knowledge to help both residents and the wider team overcome personal challenges. 

You’ll use evidence-based approaches to support recovery, independence, and integration through holistic assessments. As a comorbidity specialist, you’ll guide the team in achieving positive outcomes for residents. Your main duties include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About You

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have practical experience and relevant qualifications, and be skilled in engaging reluctant individuals. You must be resilient, proactive, and a strong problem solver to build the trusting relationships essential for this role.

About the role

Location: Churchfield West Ealing -  Unfortunately there is no step free access available on this site.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Sunday from 08:00 - 20:30 including a mix of longer shifts 3 - 4 days a week. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements such as bank holidays and evenings. 

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team based in West Ealing. We support adults experiencing homelessness, isolation, mental health challenges and addiction. We provide support and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. The service has two 24/7 multi-bed premises which provide supported housing for individuals facing addiction and homelessness. 

In this role, you will work closely with our residents to provide tailored person-centred support to enable our residents to feel empowered to overcome personal challenges, and achieve their desired goals. You will support them with re-integrating into the community through tailored support plans, interventions, and working closely with our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times

• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities

We support residents who live with us for up to nine months and have been discharged from acute wards to avoid admission into inpatient rehabilitation. We support our residents to step down into less supported accommodation to become more independent and integrated into the community. 

In this role, you will ensure resident safety, wellbeing, and progress towards their recovery goals. You will support in creating an environment where they feel safe and empowered, and are building relationships with relevant partners and individuals key towards their journey. You will create support plans, plan and hold activities, and further support them to achieve greater independence. The night Shift plays a crucial role in continuing the high quality care provided during the day, ensuring a safe, respectful, and responsive environment for residents. night staff are expected to remain awake, alert, and actively engaged throughout their shift. Sleeping while on duty is strictly prohibited and may lead to disciplinary action, including dismissal for gross misconduct.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Providing night support and supervision across two nearby residential properties.
• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.

You will be able to be proactive and continue supporting our residents even during quieter hours, supporting with ensuring the service runs smoothly and you are actively engaged with the wider team and residents, supporting the team to stay motivated and working together to achieve the service KPI's. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Previous experience working with people with multiple complex backgrounds/needs, mental health, substance misuse, alcohol, and behaviours
• Previous experience creating co-produced support plans, key working, and care planning, providing appropriate interventions for service users
• Previous experience in a similar position, where you can share your skills knowledge, and experience to support others
• Ability to be a point of contact and specialist in the service to support the team and residents with various queries and challenges
• IT Proficiency; ability to learn new software and basic Microsoft
• Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs

Job Title: Recovery Worker

Location: West Ealing -  Step free access available

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota between Monday to Sunday varying shifts from 07:30 - 16:00 or 13:30 - 21:00. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements. 

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in based in Ealing. We support adults experiencing loneliness, isolation, and mental health challenges and providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders. Marron House has 18 bed spaces and we provide personalised support around daily living skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, reminders to take medication and developing a structured weekly routine.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.
• Ensure service responsibilities and requirements are carried out effectively.
• Ensure all participants understand their rights and responsibilities.
• Develop, participate in, and encourage participants to participate in the running and development of various projects and activities.
• Empower participants to make decisions to take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.
• Provide advice, information, guidance, and life skills training to participants as required.
• Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications

About the role:

The Central Office Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the central office facility, including day-to-day oversight of organisation-wide services provided by SCT’s external IT support provider. 

The postholder will champion health and safety processes across the organisation through the use of an online portal. They will also provide key support in the coordination and delivery of organisational training. 

In addition, the role includes assisting in the delivery of a generalist HR service, working alongside the HR Officer and external HR advisors.
