As Deputy Director of Operations (Local Services), you'll lead the strategic and operational delivery of Victim Support's services across the regions. You'll act as the senior organisational representative for commissioners and system partners, shaping local system responses and ensuring quality, sustainability and innovation. You'll Translate national strategy into regional implementation and be accountable for performance, risk and culture.

You'll lead a cluster of services across England and Wales, and work with individual associated Area Managers, to identify, develop, promote opportunities to grow and develop services, to improve impact and reach more victim-survivors. In conjunction with the Director for Operations, you'll further develop opportunities for partnership working across England and Wales. You'll identify trends in commissioning and act to ensure models and approaches are evolving.

About the Role

Central to the role is ensuring that relationships between Victim Support, commissioners and stakeholders are strong and you'll take proactive action to address risks and improvement actions and themes. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Placement Officer to join our Business Commissioning and Placements Team, on a twelve-month fixed term contract starting in October 2026. The role of Placement Officer is to provide high quality support to all placement, admission and discharge processes associated with all children’s placements.

Role Requirements

· Circulating enquiries/referrals, coordinating assessments, gathering information from internal and external counterparts and formatting, and circulating Referral Screening Reports alongside Referral Manager in preparing for placements.

· Coordinate admission planning tasks including arranging parental accommodation, putting together welcome letter and parental agreement, informing reception, and updating relevant spreadsheets.

· Drafting and circulating pre-admission commissioning paperwork such as ICB letters and funding applications.

· External liaison with parents, referrers, and funders to ensure they are kept updated throughout the pre-admission process, alongside the Referral Manager.

· Supporting with in-person and virtual tours for children and their families directed by Placement Managers.

· Provide cross cover to main aspects of Placement Manager or Referral Manager role short-term, if required e.g. sickness, annual leave.

· Minute taking of meetings (including but not limited to complex discharge/transition planning meetings), and distribution of minutes within timely manner following meeting.

· Coordinating children placement reports, including chasing completion, formatting, and circulation in liaison with Placement Managers/Senior Placement Managers.

The Role:

We have an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced Volunteer Coordinator to join FARA Foundation at this pivotal time. This critical new role for the organisation will play a key role in the development and growth of volunteering across all areas of the organisation with special emphasis on the retail arm.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience working as a Volunteer Coordinator in a Charity Retail environment who is keen to use their experience and develop their skills and expertise further in this important role. This post will need to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Trading Director, Retail Area Managers and shop managers to ensure that they operate to a high standard and in an effective and efficient manner.

This role requires a clear and confident manner, excellent written and spoken communication skills and the successful applicant will need to demonstrate good skills in writing and digital literacy. This role is expected to be physically present in shops, with travel across London between shops expected in each working week.

We have a new and exciting opportunity within Victim Support to provide Domestic Abuse case management interventions across Cumbria. We are recruiting a Case Manager to cover the Westmorland & Furness area as part of the Drive Project .

Drive is an innovative national project that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children, by holding high-risk perpetrators to account. The project combines case management of perpetrators with a co-ordinated multi-agency response.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together they have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

About the role

This role is based at Kendal Police Station, West Morland & Furness, Cumbria, and involves regular travel. Due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. You will support individuals to make meaningful changes and contribute to improved quality of life and safer outcomes-helping offenders move away from the criminal justice system.

You will be passionate and committed to working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse, and/or mental health, substance misuse and offending.

We are seeking experienced professionals from domestic abuse, offender rehabilitation, or mental health backgrounds who bring strong case management expertise and a passion for behaviour change. This role involves delivering one-to-one psychosocial interventions with high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse, aiming to reduce long-term risk to current and future victims/survivors, and children.

In this role, you will:

• Deputise for the Service Manager during periods of his or her absence, in the service delivery including external meetings such as monitoring and contract review meetings with the commissioners.

• Manage the service delivery at Safestop and Burnage Lane and the line management of the staff teams at Safestop and Burnage Lane.

• Providing relevant reporting internally and externally, including ensuring all health and safety requirements are completed in a timely manner to comply with Housing Associations and legal obligations of the landlord.

• You will ensure the highest standards of support to young people is provided and that housing management is effective, and you will work to KPI targets in these areas.

• You will be committed to working in and maintaining an environment that supports the safeguarding of young people.

• To communicate effectively both internally and externally, raising the profile and promoting the services within Manchester City.

• You will undertake further duties as commensurate to the role, in line with Depaul Policies and Procedures and as identified by your line manager.

About the role

To manage all aspects of the shop, including recruiting and leading the volunteer team in order to maximise the income generated for Concern’s work.

Our new shop in Derry City is a thriving, busy hub that represents the future of charity retail - a modern, vibrant space that has brought new energy to Castle Street since opening in June. As a dynamic addition to the high street, it showcases how charity retail can inspire communities while supporting Concern's life-saving work.

You will be instrumental in making sure the shop is at the hub of the local community, ensuring a steady flow of donations and acting as the face of Concern Worldwide and raising public awareness of our campaigns.

You will lead by example and be confident working within a fast-paced retail environment.  You will contribute towards the success of the shop by:

About you

Concern Worldwide operates a growing retail network of eight shops across Northern Ireland, each playing an important role in supporting our work to end extreme poverty. CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT

It is the nature of this post that weekend working (Saturday) and occasional additional seasonal hours are part of the normal working week. Working hours will also involve some evening work to meet the needs of the post. Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is required. 

We are happy to consider candidates interested in either part-time (28 hours per week) or full-time (35 hours per week). Flexibility required.

About the Role

As an Operations Manager you will lead and manage the delivery of victim services supporting adults, children and young people, including specialist DA support for children and our Restorative Justice team. You will ensure the provision of high-quality services, as well as compliance with contractual and organisational standards, and supporting the Area Manager to identify opportunities for service development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor service performance KPIs and business plans.
