The Senior Programme Manager will lead on stakeholder management for the Subject Knowledge for Physics Teaching (SKPT) programme, including senior leaders in multi-academy trusts, programme partners and funders. The postholder will also have specific responsibility for leading an effective strategy to meet programme KPIs.
The SKPT programme is DfE-funded and delivered in partnership with STEM Learning. It consists of teacher professional development modules to support those teaching physics out of specialism at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in England.
The Ogden Trust is a family charitable trust which supports the teaching and learning of physics. The Trust delivers professional development programmes for teachers of physics across England, supports schools and multi-academy trusts to improve their physics provision and works with universities to support highquality physics enrichment.
The postholder will also be required to contribute to other projects/programmes to aid the Trust’s activities, particularly regarding event management. The role occasionally involves some work in the evening and at weekends, which will be managed in line with our time off in lieu (TOIL) policy. The role will also involve some UK-wide travel.

Person Specification

About the Role
The Senior Programme Development Lead (Lessons from Auschwitz Project and Ambassador Programme) Maternity Cover is accountable for the delivery of the Trust’s flagship Lessons from Auschwitz Project, and the Trust’s Youth Advocacy Programme (AKA Ambassador Programme), including all content and quality assurance related to the delivery of a portfolio of activity that falls within these programmes. The remit of the Senior Programme Development Lead (Lessons from Auschwitz Project and Ambassador Programme) Maternity Cover will include two areas of leadership:
1. The continued development and delivery of our Youth Advocacy/Ambassador Programme – the Trust’s youth engagement initiative. The SPDL is responsible for ensuring that through this programme the Trust engages young people across the country, ensuring they understand what the Holocaust was, inspiring them to be part of ensuring this history is remembered, and empowering them to recognise and address antisemitism when they see it today. The SPDL is responsible for driving a youth engagement strategy, which actively scales up the reach of the programme – bringing it to new audiences. They will be responsible for developing high quality, inspiring, engaging and empowering content to young people in England, Scotland and Wales – quality assuring the programme and all associated initiatives. The SPDL will be an advocate, internally and externally, for youth engagement and youth advocacy, ensuring the Trust’s voice and reputation plays a role in leading and shaping the sector and a future where young people play an active role in Holocaust remembrance and tackling antisemitism today.
2. Oversight of the Trust’s Government funded Lessons from Auschwitz Project, ensuring that the programme continues to reach students across the country each year; that it continues to be regarded as a globally recognised site-based learning initiative; that we are delivering in line with all associated KPIs; and importantly that the content continues to educate in-line with objectives, and continues to inspire young people to continue to engage with the Trust’s cause. This role will work closely with the Chief Programmes and Outreach Officer to drive delivery across programmes in line with the Trust’s strategic vision and strategic plans. We are recruiting for an Out of School Childcare Leader to join our Out of School Childcare team. The role is for a Fixed Term Contract until July 2026.
You will be responsible for leading and delivering a programme of Ofsted registered Breakfast and After School Clubs, offering a range of free play opportunities as well as structured programmes. The post holder will lead a team of playworkers and volunteers, to ensure that the service provided is of high quality and appropriate for the varying children who attend.
This role requires someone with Level 2/3 qualification in childcare, play work or equivalent or be willing to undertake this level of training upon employment.
You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a childcare setting.
Working Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7.15am to 9am and 2.45pm to 6pm Term time only with optional role in holidays.

About this Internship
The Youth Voice Development Officer is a 12-month internship starting in March 2026. Role Summary:
The National Programmes Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of regionally dispersed Programme Facilitators to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of The Girls’ Network programmes across all localities. The post-holder drives programme performance and quality through effective people leadership, robust performance management, and the use of SMART objectives to ensure KPIs are met and organisational outcomes are achieved.
A core element of the role involves embedding best practice across all aspects of programme delivery and maintaining a strong, consistent approach to safeguarding through our work with children and young people. We are looking for a Children's Spiritual Formation Lead. In this role, you will develop and create a spiritual formation pathway for children, that fosters spiritual growth through contemplative Christian practices, with a specific focus on pioneering and developing retreat day experiences for schools as part of the pathway. This is a national role that will enable churches to support their ministry to children in schools through contemplative Christian practices. You will also, where needed, play a hands-on role in supporting churches and schools in our work.

About You
