About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
All of us will experience violence at some point in our lives. For many children, it is a daily reality. Each year, tens of children are killed, hundreds are hospitalised, 1 in 5 teenage children are victims and the majority admit to feeling afraid of violence. It scares them when they travel home from school, prevents them from going out and makes the most vulnerable feel like they don’t matter. It is taking lives, traumatising families and dividing communities. It robs potential, progress and hope. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives.
The evaluation team designs and implements the processes which assess the evidence for the fund’s various funding rounds. The team is also responsible for assessing, appointing, monitoring and the quality assurance of complex and rigorous impact evaluations from experts in the field.
As an integral member of our evaluation team, you will be part of making sure we make the best decisions about what we fund, design and execute the evaluations to learn from it about what works to prevent youth violence.
Key Responsibilities
The core of your job is to ensure that we commission and deliver high-quality evaluations so that we can find out the very best ways to prevent young people and children from becoming involved in violence.
As an Evaluation Manager, you will:
Support the evaluation team to design and implement the processes for assessing the quality of evidence underpinning applications organisations make for funding.
Provide recommendations on which applications should be approved for funding based on your assessment.
Choose the best evaluation partner for each project.
Lead the development of the evaluation design with grantees and evaluators.
Review regular monitoring reports from evaluators and provide approval for payments, making sure their milestones are effectively achieved, and the work stays on budget.
Serve as the main point of contact for the evaluation partner, providing a rigorous review and feedback on the report and ensuring that it is an accurate reflection of the learnings from the project.
Support the evaluation team in the development of the principles and protocols we need to deliver robust and respected evaluations.
About you

Committed to preventing young people and children from becoming involved in violence: You’re passionate about the impact of prevention and early intervention. You don't want your days to pass without making a difference.
Experienced in evaluation: You have a strong knowledge and technical expertise in evaluation methodologies, including the ability to critically appraise the design of randomised control trials and related approaches.
Really know what makes great research and quality evidence: You can design and draft high-quality research proposals, including the sample, measurement and analysis. You’re confident in assessing the quality of evidence that underpins interventions and can guide decisions on grant applications.
An excellent communicator: You can produce technical documents that accurately report methodological and statistical information. You will combine this with experience of communicating complex evidence and analysis in a simple and accessible format to non-experts.
Highly organised and likes working in a team: You have excellent project and time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. You’re a valuable addition to any team by supporting others and working collaboratively. You’re flexible and able to work on your own initiative.

You may have, but they are not essential:
Good knowledge and understanding of crime, serious or other relevant areas. This could include areas such as such as RSHE and harmful relationship behaviours, child development, parenting or children’s mental health from fields such as psychology, neuroscience or education research.
Experience of commissioning evaluation or designing your own research: This includes managing research and analysis from external contractors. Experience designing and carrying out your own research would be an asset, as would experience in the ethical review process.
Great quantitative analysis skills: This includes experience using advanced analytical software such as R, Stata or SPSS
Knowledge and understanding of intervention and prevention science
Knowledge and experience of evidence synthesis: You know the different approaches and have carried out your own evidence synthesis projects.

Hybrid Working Details

Project Manager (Cascade Wellbeing Project)
Part Time – 21 hours (3 days) per week
Salary £24,000 (£40,000 FTE)
We are seeking a Project Manager to deliver the Cascade Project – a partnership between the St Benedict’s Centre and the Diocese of Rochester. The project aims to develop a programme of initiatives and interventions to support frontline church leaders (lay and ordained, including Headteachers of church schools) with their wellbeing.
The project has been under development for the past year. The Project Manager will lead the project from development to implementation. Funding has been committed by the Church Commissioners for the first 4 years of the implementation period.
The Project Manager will provide overall leadership for the Cascade project, taking responsibility for setting culture and strategy and vision, developing strong and successful relationships with key external partners, delivering an imaginative programme (in person and online) to support the wellbeing of lay and ordained church leaders (including Headteachers of Church Schools) in the Diocese of Rochester and beyond, and ensuring that there are sufficient resources available for Cascade to flourish.
Candidates should have experience of leadership in a church setting with project management experience. You should have an understanding of wellbeing issues for frontline workers and knowledge of a variety of therapeutic processes and other interventions. You will have excellent organisational and communications skills.

Role overview
The Head of MAT and School Partnerships will build and lead a high-impact portfolio of strategic MAT partnerships that improve recruitment, retention and long-term success for career change teachers while strengthening outcomes for schools and pupils.
This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of Now Teach’s next phase of growth and impact. The postholder will play a central role in shaping how we work with MATs nationally and how career change teachers are recruited, supported and retained within schools serving disadvantaged communities.
You will also work closely with the Director of Network and Head of Impact to develop a school engagement, impact and advocacy strategy across the 500 schools where our 1,000-strong Now Teacher Network currently teach.
In this role you will……
Lead the design, delivery and evolution of Now Teach’s MAT partnership strategy aimed at ensuring Now Teacher impact in schools. You will support teams to deliver on their agreed recruitment targets and network offer commitments , establishing and growing a portfolio of deeply engaged partners who get it right for their career change teachers.

Secure partnership income targets, negotiate partnership contributions, and drive commercial sustainability, working closely with COO/Finance Manager on ongoing cost models.

About You and The Role
The Young Creatives Programme Manager is responsible for the research and project management of Modern Art Oxford’s Young Creatives projects which includes the delivery of the Young Creatives Collective, Socials, and school visits. Modern Art Oxford’s Young Creatives programme includes a diverse offer of studio sessions and professional development opportunities throughout the year for young people aged 16-21, including support and mentoring for sixth form students and undergraduates which form part of our university partnerships.
The Young Creatives Programme Manager takes a lead role in collaboratively developing programme ideas with young people to ensure that all Young Creatives projects are inclusive and reflect the ideas and interests of the group. This includes the development of public events with young people each year.
The role combines research, delivery, and project management with a core focus on co-curating with young people to develop Modern Art Oxford’s new three-year strategy, Changing Geographies (2027-2030) which aims to develop new regional partnerships and commission opportunities with 45 young people each year. Working as part of the Communities, Practice & Participation team, the Young Creatives Programme Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and co-ordination of visiting schools and colleges while working alongside the Curator of Communities, Practice & Participation to build and sustain new relationships with young people, charities, and grassroots organisations, across Oxfordshire.
The Young Creatives programme regularly engages more than 800 young people each year through our regular sessions for visiting schools, colleges, and socials, with a focussed collective of 15 young people who meet monthly.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in contemporary art and visual culture, a minimum of three years’ experience working with young people (16-21) in a contemporary arts organisation, and a strong understanding of pedagogy and inclusive practices with young people
They will have experience of delivering projects and workshops in art galleries and museums, working with artists, facilitators, or creative practitioners, managing multiple projects, partnerships, and delivery as well as experience of working with diverse materials and media.
They will have excellent communication and relationship building skills, experience of working collaboratively with teachers and schools, the ability to prioritise workloads effectively and good IT, administrative and organisational skills.

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (Y1-3) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. From a school perspective, online reading volunteers provide direct, meaningful literacy support for up to 10 pupils per class. The programme is particularly suitable for communities where it might be challenging to find parents and other volunteers who can commit to physically visiting schools to boost reading. About the Role
Chapter One is seeking a Bradford Programme Manager who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to disadvantaged communities is maximised throughout the academic year.
The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base and who is able to travel frequently in and around West Yorkshire. The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work some additional hours during busy autumn weeks, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year.
There are plans for future expansion in Bradford so the role may grow, in time.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively explain Chapter One’s online reading volunteer programme and its benefits to school leaders and teachers.
Install, setup and maintain Chapter One equipment in participating classrooms.
Organise and conduct initial teacher training and follow-up.
Ensure a smooth initial launch of Chapter One’s programme in every classroom.
Fully understand the operation of the Chapter One platform and database and effectively communicate this to others as needed.
Liaise with colleagues performing technical and volunteer support roles.
Through regular visits to/contact with schools, provide on-going embedded professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year as needed.
Proactively monitor classroom adherence/fidelity to the Chapter One model, including systematic review of data reports and volunteer feedback, taking proactive action to resolve problems that arise.
Analyse and manipulate data (largely in Google sheets) to produce reports and identify trends.
Create regular data summaries for all participating classrooms.
Lead annual review meetings for senior leadership at participating schools.
Support programme monitoring, evaluation and research as required.
Coordinate in person and virtual school ‘visits’ of volunteer teams to classrooms where necessary. This may include opportunities for Chapter One children to visit the office of the volunteers.
Liaison with corporate partners as required.
Weekly communication and status updates with Senior Programme Manager(s) and wider team.
As a new school year approaches, secure commitments from returning schools and help find and target new schools to join Chapter One’s programme.

We believe that you can’t change outcomes without looking at issues holistically and thoughtfully. For us it’s about long-term change.
As our new services lead for (outreach ALP), you will help us continue seeking to make three key differences for our children and young people: Improved mental health, Reduced social isolation, Increased ability to thrive in education
The Role
Our Outreach (part time ALP) service will deliver services to around 45 children and young people at any one time over the next academic year. Our young people are often neurodivergent, have SEND and/ or mental needs such as anxiety, OCD and other diagnosed or undiagnosed needs. Many have very supportive and involved families and parents/ carers who also deserve our empathy and support, and many have had difficult childhood experiences and might be really struggling with loneliness and social isolation. The funding for outreach comes primarily from individual children’s EHCP’s and we design careful and thoughtful packages of education and wellbeing provision with an emphasis on therapeutic and trauma informed work. This is usually commissioned through local authorities (we work with a number across the South West and in London) and can also be commissioned by social care and NHS. The work with the children is delivered by a team of around 25 education and wellbeing practitioners. We usually deliver services in the home and the community and for many of our young people, who are usually not in school - we are key professionals, mentors and cheerleaders in their lives, delivering usually around 12 hours a week of services for each child as a part time ALP. Partnership work and safeguarding are day to day features of the services as is building supportive mentoring relationships with practitioners ensuring they have the right support, training and supervision to fulfil their roles and feel happy and supported, and building warm, nurturing relationships with families and wider stakeholders.
We have a clear idea of our objectives for this service for next academic year (we want to make it even more amazing for the children and young people) and we need someone who will be truly excited about running day to day and the year to year. This is a key operational leadership role within a busy and fast-paced service requiring someone who is highly organised, proactive and fast on their feet - its that ‘head, heart and hand’ approach driving positive action and strategically aligned change across the service whilst holding their own case load, and able to maintain oversight of multiple complex moving parts, while ensuring children, families, and practitioners feel nurtured, inspired, and well-held.
In this role, you will:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the Outreach (ALP) service reporting and ensuring on monthly and year to year deliverables.
Manage relationships with children, professionals, families and practitioners dealing with cases from referral onwards, by phone, face to face and by email, and to be in proactive and sensitive communication including with professionals and vulnerable children and families. This will often require imagination, quick wit, empathy, and diplomacy to resolve.
Take an active role in strategic problem solving; being able to think about what issues might come up, what lies behind the words or the data, and what needs to be done to reassure, and move things forward successfully.
Collate and analyse a range of systems and data (quantitative and qualitative) with a view to improvement in communications, systems and processes and will make these improvements happen in the service and ensure they are embedded and become consistent.
Deliver services which have meaningful long term impact for the children, but always be proactively seeking to do more and to make them better.
Have confidence in dealing with conflict and disagreements, ensuring that the children and families voices are heard and working positively with our partners.
Lead on personalised and holistic case management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control and closure across children’s cases.
Proactive commitment to safeguarding best practise and information sharing including commitment to Love Squared safeguarding procedure including acting as Deputy Safeguarding Lead and attending relevant multi-agency meetings.
Effective risk-management for service and individual children/ young people in liaison with other stakeholders.
Manage practitioner and other relevant recruitment so that capacity is carefully managed across the service.
Support and improve service design, delivery and best practise for the children including running regular team meetings for each placement, individual and group supervision, and providing wellbeing support for practitioners.
Ensure that additional and joined up support is sought and achieved as needed to meet the children’s needs and that this is proactive as much as possible rather than reactive.
Ensure that reporting, planning, and other documentation both for individual children and at service level is compliant, to a high standard and well organised and managed.
Support the ongoing development and sustainable growth of the service in alignment with the Love Squared ethos and approach
Line manage and supervise Case Manager(s) and supervise and mentor the practice of the practitioners.
Help ensure children and families experience services that feel thoughtful, imaginative, loving and genuinely supportive.

Team: Delivery/ Delivery Coordination Office
As the Resource Planning Manager, you are responsible for understanding how work is carried out across the Trust. This includes looking at activities, processes, projects and programmes to make sure the right people and resources are available when needed.
Your main focus at the start will be on the Delivery directorate. In this area, you will design a clear and practical resource management approach that helps managers plan and use resources more effectively.
You will also work with teams across the whole Trust. Your role is to make sure each team receives the support and resources they need in a timely and efficient way, so that work can be completed smoothly and without unnecessary delays.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop clear and practical processes and procedures that support teams in sharing resources effectively. This means making sure people, skills and tools can be used across different programmes and teams in a coordinated and efficient way, helping to avoid gaps or duplication.
Lead on embedding the Access Resource Planner across the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust. You will act as the main point of contact for the system and support others in using it effectively, helping to ensure it becomes a trusted and widely used tool.
Designing simple and effective processes that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and minimise delays caused by resources not being used well. This will help projects run more smoothly and avoid common challenges that slow progress.
Track and report on how resources are used. By looking at past decisions and identifying patterns or trends, you will support better planning and forecasting for future projects.
Design and put into place a clear resource management framework. This framework will guide how resources are planned, allocated and reviewed, helping teams work in a more coordinated and consistent way across the Trust.
This role would be ideal someone who likes bringing structure and clarity to complex work and enjoys understanding how different pieces fit together. National – home-based, with regular travel across England and Wales, particularly London
£90,000–£110,000 per annum

About NASS
The National Association of Special Schools (NASS) is the membership association for special schools in England and Wales. We bring together independent special schools, non-maintained special schools, special academies, maintained special schools and multi-academy trusts with specialist provision.
We exist to inform, support and represent our members, helping specialist schools improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND and secure the place of specialist provision within the wider education system. NASS is known for being accessible, responsive and personal, combining national influence with practical support that members value as timely, human and trustworthy.
This is a pivotal moment for the organisation. In February this year, the Department for Education published a major white paper on SEND reform which will require NASS to both influence national policy on behalf of our members and children and young people, as well as support them to navigate the changes. Our new CEO will need to review our strategy while building on our strong platform and momentum to further deepen our influence and strengthen our internal capacity.

You will support the development and delivery of our schools, youth centre and detached programmes. This will consist of one to ones and group work with young people within schools, detached work in designated areas as well as centre-based provision. You will be responsible for building strong, professional relationships with young people and adapting and coordinating a service around their needs. You will work in partnership with the other Youth Workers on the team, the Youth & Community Manager, schools and youth organisations around the county as well as the wider voluntary sector and statutory partners
You will work also in the community to identify and support volunteers to become engaged within our services and provision. You will collate a range of data, information and imagery that creates evidence of your work and the impact it is making not only to young people but also to the wider community.

About King Edward’s School, Bath
Founded in 1552, King Edward’s School (KES) is Bath’s oldest school and one of the leading co-educational independent schools in the south-west of England. The School was recently awarded Independent Secondary School of the Year in the South West by the Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2026. Serving pupils aged 3–18 across its Pre-Prep, Junior, Senior and Sixth Form sections, KES combines a rich heritage with a forward-thinking approach to education.
About the role:
Responsible for developing and strengthening King Edward’s School’s partnerships with primary schools, youth-focused organisations, local authorities and other relevant bodies, primarily across BANES and Wiltshire.
The role focuses on expanding engagement programmes, widening access to a KES education, and increasing applications to the School’s means-tested Bursary Programme. It also includes supporting bursary applicants and families throughout their journey with the School.
