The Role
This is a rare opportunity to be at the front line of human rights research and advocacy, working for a specialist organisation with a long track record in promoting the right to freedom of religion or belief (FoRB).
You will undertake research, investigations, monitoring, report-writing and advocacy on freedom of religion and human rights in Myanmar/Burma and Indonesia.
Key responsibilities (full responsibilities listed in the application pack):
- To plan, organise and undertake research, monitoring and reporting on freedom of religion or belief and related human rights issues in Myanmar/Burma and Indonesia , through regular fact-finding assignments, when and where security conditions allow, meetings with key stakeholders and the development of reliable in-country and external partnerships and collaboration.
- To produce materials, including briefings, reports, documenting and analysing the situation of freedom of religion or belief and human rights in the agreed countries, as well as advocacy recommendations.
- To develop and implement, with oversight from the Asia Team Leader and in close consultation with other key members of staff , an effective and innovative advocacy strategy for the agreed countries, taking into account the regional perspective.
- To undertake advocacy with a focus at local (when possible) and regional levels, including ASEAN, and, in consultation with the Asia Team Leader, work with CSW’s Public Affairs Team to inform advocacy initiatives in the UK, EU, US and with other governments, the United Nations and other forums.
- To organise, as appropriate, advocacy visits for delegations from or in relation to the agreed countries.

The Person
A committed Christian with a university degree and a strong commitment to human rights and justice, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to take the initiative and to work well under pressure.

The purpose of the Senior Direct Marketing Officer’s role is to deliver and evolve the acquisition and retention strategy, inspiring the people of London to become long-term supporters of the Charity.

There are also plans to develop a digital offer.
The Veterans’ Outreach Officer will support the Head of Veterans’ Outreach in developing and managing the programme of activities encouraging engagement and social interaction between Chelsea Pensioners and other service veterans thereby helping to alleviate the social isolation and loneliness felt by many older veterans. Responsibilities will include promoting the programme within veterans' networks and finding innovative ways to connect with veterans; the management of themed events both at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and further afield as we seek to expand nationwide. Main purpose of post

Along with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing messaging and ensuring our communications are on brand.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead on the delivery of communications, campaigns, and marketing projects effectively and on time, working with teams across the organisation.
- Collaborate with digital and press colleagues to deliver integrated campaigns.
- To monitor and evaluate campaign performance and complete campaign evaluations.
- Monitor marketing and charity trends and stay up to date on industry best practices.
- Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to manage resource within the Communications team and keep track of key milestones for a range of campaigns.
- Work closely with Senior Digital & Social Officer when considering how marketing campaigns will be presented visually through our online platforms.
- Work with the Marketing Manager and Director of Fundraising & Communications to contribute to Meningitis Now’s communication strategy.
- To line manage the Senior Designer and Content Creator.
- Increase Meningitis Now’s profile and support the delivery of the charity’s strategic aims.
- Ensure that all Data Protection requirements are upheld.

We are looking for a Communications and Engagement Officer with at least two years of relevant experience, who will be able to contribute to our new VCS Capacity Building contract.
Having a good level of experience in producing and designing communications content, excellent copy writing skills with the ability to create clear and compelling content, excellent attention to detail and a strong track record in developing communications which stand out and increase both engagement and awareness.
Someone who enjoys working with the local community and able to use their communication and engagement skills to ensure we are reaching all parts of the VCS community within the Borough of Haringey. Having knowledge of the VCS within Haringey would be an advantage, but not essential.

The role
MIND in Haringey and its partner Public Voice delivers the Voluntary and Community (VCS) Capacity Building contract commissioned by the London Borough of Haringey. The contract, which runs from May 2024 to April 2027 can be extended for a further four years at the discretion of the Client. Your role will include fundraising to support the various institutions, working with individuals, trusts and corporations. You will be responsible for a portfolio of donors, including prospecting and stewardship. As part of the wider GLAM fundraising team, you will also be responsible for delivery of stewardship events and get involved with wider appeal activities. You will work with curators and Directors in the various institutions and have the opportunity to frame appealing projects to present to prospects.
