Summary
Innovation plays a key role in our drive to increase our Fundraising income and further our strategy to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. In partnership with the Senior Innovation and Development Manager, the Innovation Manager will work across Fundraising Teams to deliver a step change in our income growth in the next 12 months. You will be responsible for delivering exciting iterative and new product development projects. As a Senior Manager, Philanthropy, you will focus on developing and managing strategic, high-value relationships with Trusts and Foundations. The Senior Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing a global fundraising strategy at a key time of organizational growth. Who you are
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the locations stipulated above.

Your day-to-day
You will support the execution of CDPs philanthropic fundraising strategy.
You will manage a portfolio of strategic, high-value donors, building strong relationships and implementing creative solicitation plans to maximise donor engagement and income.

This role will play a pivotal role in overseeing our work with policy makers and Parliamentarians, bringing evidence and children’s voice to the heart of government.
As well as overseeing NCB’s core work on policy and public affairs, this role will be crucial in helping the growing team develop new income streams. It will provide project management and oversight on a number of important grants and government contracts held by the Policy and Public Affairs team.

As Business and Development Relationship Manager, your key focus will be to have a direct impact upon the growth and success of the business through the strategic contribution to service development and new business development.
This role will be home based with regular travel across the Midland and South of England region. You will be required to attend at Head Office (based in Warrington, Cheshire) for monthly team meetings, supervisions and as and when required. Salary £57,742 per annum. Contract of 39 hours per week.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and growing the customer base across the region, establishing, and maintaining key strategic partnerships with commissioners, ICBs, housing providers and other stakeholders.
- Revenue targets and relevant KPIs are delivered across the region whilst ensuring service sustainability is maintained.
- Establishing demand needs within the local areas whilst supporting with new developments, with interests in LD & MH Services.
- The ability to develop high-level reports and briefings, managing complex data and information to provide concise recommendations and detailed action plans.
For this role you will need to be able to work independently and work with the wider business development team on competitive bids and tendering across the region. Qualifications
Candidates must have a relevant qualification in Business management, or be willing to work towards. About the Role

About the role

- Work closely with team members in other departments within Save the Children to provide excellent PR support for delivering Save the Children's objectives

- Identify and maximise opportunities to generate reactive media coverage, responding effectively to external events, news and the cultural conversation

About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Significant operational experience in mass-market PR, as a print or broadcast journalist, or equivalent professional media communications experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external contacts across diverse cultures, disciplines and time zones
- Solid experience developing and implementing PR campaigns for corporate clients, including cause-related events, co-branded marketing activity, global campaigns
- Excellent working knowledge of the media landscape – including national broadcast and press, women's, showbiz, tabloid and digital media – with a network of journalistic contacts.
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to write and edit engaging copy for a range of audiences, across traditional and new mediums
