We are recruiting a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our fundraising team. The post holder will be responsible for raising income from medium and large trusts and foundations giving five and six-figure grants.
We are looking for someone with significant experience working in trusts and foundations fundraising, with a keen interest in our work to get children back in school and ready to learn. This role would suit someone who is looking to take the next step in their career. Additional support undertaking direct line management for the first time will be available if required.
This is an exciting time to join the team, with the opportunity to build on your current portfolio of existing and warm Trusts, some of which have supported School-Home Support for a number of years. You will need to be a confident, approachable individual with the ability to manage a busy, varied workload. With a keen eye for detail, you must also be able to write concise and persuasive funding applications and reports and build strong relationships, both internally and externally.

About the Role
As Assistant Adjudicator (AA), you will work as part of the Adjudication Team, who are responsible for the review and resolution of complex and/or entrenched student complaints.
The Adjudication Team is a collaborative casework environment. Assistant Adjudicators work at pace to see cases through to conclusion by either writing and issuing clear, concise, accurate and well-reasoned decisions (Complaint Outcomes) or by negotiating settlements.
Your cases will typically be complex with a higher level of risk or the potential to have a greater impact on the student, the provider and/or on the organisation. The information and electronic files you work with will typically involve large amounts of written documentation.
You will be expected to provide excellent customer service and as well as progressing cases in a timely way, you will have a targeted number of cases to review and close each month.
About You
You will be skilled at evaluating large amounts of written information as well as exercising your judgment to reach well-reasoned decisions and to resolve complaints. You will have the skills and flexibility to manage a varied and demanding caseload and will be able to clearly and persuasively explain your decision in writing and/or by telephone or video calls.
You will have:
• Honours degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience

Job Description
The Head of Management Accounting will:
- Lead financial management and reporting for Districts/Departments, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for the Senior Command Team and Business Executive Leaders including revenue, grants, and capital income/expenditure.

- Drive efficiency's by embedding a 1:4/5 line management ratio within Finance Officers, standardising procedures, and reducing reporting variability.
- Lead annual budget planning, working with senior leaders to ensure resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.
- Challenge and support senior leaders to improve financial plans and achieve value for money.
- Implement performance frameworks, reviewing KPIs, and driving continuous improvement across the finance team.
- Manage the Management Accounting Team and Capital Accountant, prioritising tasks and fostering staff development.
- Promote teamwork and strong communication within the Finance team and with the Financial Accounting Team.
- Develop financial training for staff and senior leaders, improving financial literacy across the Force.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial management policies, procedures, and internal audit processes.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Head of Management Accounting will be/have:
- Qualified Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (C.C.A.B.) or CIMA accountant.
- Significant experience in management accounting and strategic financial planning and working with a finance business partnering model to deliver the outcomes.
- Up to date with current accounting issues.
- Understand personal and professional strengths and development needs and be able to evidence the steps taken to enhance your continuing professional development.
- Ability to interpret complex or detailed legislation, policy or strategy documents to identify financial implications and provide insightful financial advice.
- Strong commercial acumen with the desire to help drive business performance and show the wider business how finance can add value on a day-to-day basis.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for growing support from businesses (currently 30 small corporates) plus local groups. You’ll manage existing partners and build new relationships to hit a £150K annual target.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in Fundraising

Be responsible for the development and oversight of policies, protocols and systems required for restricted fund management which align with Habitat for Humanity International and external donor requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of Philanthropic Fundraising will serve as the cornerstone of administrative support for ULI’s philanthropic fundraising initiatives in Europe.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative and management support to the philanthropic fundraising initiatives of the ULI Charitable Trust (and the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee) and ULI Europe, including fundraising campaigns, donation tracking, gift processing, and donor stewardship in cooperation with the ULI Finance team in the US.
- Oversee and coordinate design and development of marketing collateral, presentations supporting fundraising campaigns, in collaboration with the ULI Europe Marketing and Communications team.
- Collaborate closely with the ULI Europe Business Development and Membership team, ULI’s country directors, and the governance director to support the planning and implementation of the European philanthropic fundraising strategy set by the CT Board of Trustees / ULIF Europe Committee.

Summary of the role
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the role will support the implementation of our 2030 Fundraising Strategy in collaboration with colleagues in Fundraising, Communications and Delivery Teams.
