About the Role

As Senior Philanthropy Manager within our Fundraising Team, you will focus and lead on:
- External facing relationship manager, both building new relationships and effectively stewarding existing ones

This role will have responsibility for elevating and increasing awareness and engagement of the entrepreneurship programmes, delivered by the Academy.

Experience and Skills: You bring a rich background in B2B and B2C marketing, with a proven track record in developing strategic communications. Your expertise in SEO, content production, website management, and stakeholder engagement will be key.
Visionary Thinking: You are up to date with the latest marketing trends and possess the creativity to apply them effectively.

Location
Our light, spacious head office is based in a fantastic location in central London with views over St James’s Park and close to the West End. We operate hybrid, flexible working practices with a baseline for office-based working of a mandatory weekly team day plus further days each week as required for the role and the Academy.

We seek a full-time Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to join our small, busy and creative team at NWN. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least three years’ experience in a similar role, who has an interest in contemporary literature and is looking to develop their career in the creative industries. It’s an exciting time to join the organisation as we develop new audiences and work towards creating a Centre for Writing and Publishing in Newcastle upon Tyne.
This role is central to NWN providing marketing support across all of New Writing North’s varied programme, including international literary prizes, young writers’ groups, and festivals and events. You will also shape the marketing and communications and audience development strategic plans and, will work closely with colleagues from different programme teams developing relationships with audiences and stakeholders online. What we want from you
We're on the lookout for a Data Insight Analyst who's ready to dive deep into the world of data-driven decision-making.
If you're someone who gets a kick out of using data to tackle real-world challenges and shape organisational strategy, then you might just be the perfect fit for our team. You'll need to be comfortable working with large datasets, flexing your data mining and customer profiling muscles.
Experience-wise, we're looking for someone who's no stranger to analytics software like Tableau, Faststats, or similar tools. When it comes to databases, you should be fluent in SQL and have an ability to optimise the use of data from across various sources.
First-hand experience with CRM systems such as Raiser’s Edge would be advantageous, especially in the charity sector, and if you're curious about data science or even have experience in this area, even better.
Apart from excellent analytical skills, you’ll have an inquisitive mind and love solving problems. We are looking for a strong communicator, confident at delivering your analysis outcomes whether that’s to a room of colleagues or chatting with stakeholders, your ability to convey complex insights in a clear and compelling way will be highly valued.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior Digital Officer to join our ambitious and growing type 1 diabetes charity, JDRF, as part of the digital and marketing team.
You will build our reach by ensuring our website is search engine optimised and will champion optimisation with all content providers across the organisation. You will build landing pages and microsites for fundraising campaigns across various platforms, complete user experience research to develop compelling user journeys and will evaluate the performance of our digital channels.
