The Head of Corporate Partnerships will join at an incredibly exciting time for the charity and corporate partnerships programme. Sitting on the Fundraising SLT and leading the team of four, the Head of Corporate will bring a new business lens to the portfolio, driving new brand and commercial, strategic and charity of the year partnerships. The role will also oversee a Department of Health funded programme to bring pregnancy information to SMEs.

Personally leading on and supporting the Senior Partnerships Manager in developing new business will be a key element of the role, including building propositions around key campaign moments. Additionally, the Head of Corporate Partnerships will work closely with the Deputy Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop a longer-term strategy to be in a position to win the large-scale transformational partnerships. Overseeing the existing portfolio, managed by a Partnerships Manager, will also be crucial; there are a number of upcoming renewals and opportunities for growth.

This could be a great opportunity for a Senior New Business Manager to step into a team leadership position.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the team to deliver £870k income this year, ensuring plans are in place to grow to £1m+ in years to come
• Regular monitoring of the pipeline, including reforecasting where necessary
• Take a lead and active role in developing and nurturing a robust pipeline of new corporate partnerships opportunities
• Develop and deliver the next stage of the corporate fundraising plans

We’re a small charity that brings communities together to create cleaner, connected and safer urban and rural neighbourhoods by tackling the litter problems where they live. Key responsibilities involve managing a direct caseload of complex employee relations cases, including leading on liaison with ACAS, external investigators, and legal advisors, and preparing for and attending Employment Tribunals. The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing an HR case work portfolio, which includes conducting discipline and grievance investigations, hearings and appeals, and ACAS Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunals, as well as overseeing attendance and performance management processes. Established success in coaching managers and leaders on various HR matters is essential to this role, empowering them to manage risk, resolve conflict, support their team members to excel at work, and foster cohesion and trust within a hybrid workforce. The postholder will have experience and interest in managing employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion initiatives; be CIPD qualified; have excellent and adaptable organisation, communication and interpersonal skills; and will enjoy working with a variety of people, with a strong ability to listen effectively.

This is a full-time, permanent role in Band 4 – Senior Management and Senior Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 per week, working 5 days between the hours of 9am-5pm, although due to the nature of the work, some flexibility may be required.

Due to the rapid expansion of Day One Trauma Support over the last three years, the charity’s infrastructure has needed to respond quickly to meet its changing demands. There is now a requirement to ensure that the Finance and Resources team has the right skill set and capacity to provide the support needed by the charity in an efficient and proactive way.

The HR Officer and Executive Assistant role is a newly created position to reflect both the growing HR needs of the charity as the workforce expands, and the executive support required by the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the efficient and effective running of the charity. This is a key role which is instrumental in bringing the HR and organisational administration functions together at an operational level.

Reporting primarily to the Director of Finance and Resources and assisted by an external HR and Employment Law support service, this role will provide advice, guidance and support to all line managers in HR related matters whilst building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders throughout all levels of the organisation.  This will include support to ensure the efficient and effective management, monitoring and reporting of people metrics, from recruitment, development, retention through to attrition and at all stages of the employee life cycle.

The role will also provide crucial executive support to the CEO and SLT of three Directors, to ensure the smooth operation of their responsibilities and co-ordinating efforts of various parties to ensure completion of key tasks and actions.

About you:

My client is a world-leading arts not-for-profit organisation that works to push the boundaries of the arts and work tirelessly to produce new shows. As part of the organisation’s ongoing growth plans, they are currently in the process of improving the commercial arm of their business and explore new avenues for revenue. This has led to a need to recruit a senior finance business partner in support of this ambitious plan. As the senior finance business partner you will work closely with the wider team as well as moulding the department and building relationships with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and work in partnership with other teams providing data and analysis relevant to the business strategy.
• Use data from various data sources to understand historic trends and use this information to create financial models and presentations to inform budget decisions.
• Create income and cost Key Performance Indicators and research other organisations to measure performance.
• Provide timely and accurate monthly management accounts including income and expenditure, balance sheet reconciliations and Key Performance Indicators.
• Prepare budgets according to timelines in discussion with the team and Chief Financial Officer.
• Prepare monthly rolling forecasts of income and expenditure, working closely with other members of the Team,
• Undertake monthly reviews with budget holders to review income and direct costs  and feedback to key stakeholders where necessary.
• Take an active role in aiding senior managers and team members understanding of their financial responsibilities.
• Working with the Financial Accounts Team, ensure complete and accurate transaction processing.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with a desire to drive change in an organisation, influencing senior stakeholders at multiple levels. Additional skills include highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise and work across different teams.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

This role would suit someone with a proven track record in collaborative new business development from concept and research to delivery; ideally in an environment working with local authorities, NHS, DWP, health bodies, and/or grant institutions.  We are also looking for an exceptional communicator with strong verbal and written influencing skills across various levels of seniority.  Our ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, including sales and negotiation expertise, and a good understanding of the financial principles applicable in the charity sector.  The successful candidate will be expected to uphold and embody the values of Twining in all aspects of their work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead and support the creation of high-quality bids and funding applications, including finalising technical questions and method statements.

· Manage the administrative components of the tendering process.

· Conduct research to identify income opportunities related to the employment and mental health offer.

· Build and maintain networks with local health, social care and employment agencies.

· Stay informed about procurement practices and commissioning trends in London and nationally.

· Contribute to the shaping of Twining’s development strategy by identifying growth opportunities.

· Participate in events to position Twining as a thought leader in relevant sectors.

We are looking for a confident, senior Public Affairs and Campaigns professional to lead a programme of relationship building and to develop and deliver parliamentary and campaign strategies to bring about changes in policy, practice, and attitudes across our wide range of target audiences.

The Head of Public Affairs and Campaigns will be crucial in helping us to strategically build relationships with advocates and champions for our work in Westminster and Whitehall, across key industry bodies, sectors and networks and at a local and national level. This includes overseeing our programme of events and working with colleagues across the organisation to develop and deliver high-quality campaigns that effectively build support for the changes we want to see.

This is a hands-on role that will work seamlessly with the Head of Communications and colleagues across the wider organisation to plan and deliver a powerful, coherent, and integrated communications and influencing function. The successful candidate will be proactive and tenacious in horizon-scanning and seeking out opportunities where we can most effectively influence the work of others. You will also be responsible for developing and co-ordinating policy positions and approaches that are attractive and actionable and achieve buy-in and support from others.

You will line manage three individuals and have dotted line oversight of the work of Communications & Campaigns Officers in our Action Areas, as well as general responsibility and oversight – along with the Head of Communications – for the work of the wider Communications Team and influencing activity across the organisation more broadly.

Key responsibilities:

● Developing a comprehensive income generation and marketing strategy that supports the delivery of the charity’s objectives and activities

● Manage and maintain existing significant partnerships with key funders (trusts, corporates and major donors), identifying new opportunities to deepen and extend relationships where desirable

● Understanding of charity finance and ability to develop project budgets for funders
