As Grants and Impact Manager you will be stewarding small and large Trust and Foundation donors, researching new prospects, and writing compelling applications using detailed case studies compiled by the team. The Grants and Impact Manager will also coordinate the development of a new Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) programme, strengthening our ability to measure, understand, and communicate the impact of our work. • Providing day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Raiser’s Edge NXT users
• Supporting fundraising teams as they move from Raiser’s Edge 7 to NXT
• Delivering clear training, guidance and practical support to CRM users
• Managing data imports, cleansing, audits and database administration
• Monitoring data quality and improving how supporter information is recorded
• Working with stakeholders to understand their needs and improve systems and processes

About you

You may already be working as a Database Officer, CRM Officer or charity data specialist and be ready to take the next step in your career.

You’re curious, proactive and solutions-focused. You enjoy investigating data and system issues, working with complex datasets and finding practical ways to improve processes. Just as importantly, you enjoy working with people and can explain technical information clearly to colleagues with different levels of confidence and experience.

The Outrunners are a running and movement charity based in Hackney, on a mission to empower young people through movement. Backed by an incredible crew of volunteers and partner brands like Nike and Moju, we help young people in East London to build confidence, wellbeing, health and leadership skills.

We deliver free, fun, sociable, youth‑led running and movement sessions for 8–18 year olds every week - during term time and holidays. But we’re about more than just running. We’re a small charity but we pack a mighty punch. Our income has grown year-on-year since we became a charity 6 years ago -  allowing us to expand our core team and move into office premises large enough to incorporate a Youth Hub. To give you a sense of the kinds of work that we do, over the last year we have:

• Hosted a free Girls’ Festival for 100+ ethnically diverse young girls, allowing them to try running sessions, creative classes and yoga experiences in a safe and empowering environment.

• Hosted free training Academies for ethnically diverse women and young people aged 16-21 to train for their very first half or full marathons! We offered physical, emotional and logistical support throughout their training journey and cheered on every single one of them as they ran either the Hackney Half or the London Marathon under The Outrunners name. Since programme launch, we have worked with over 250 people in our Academies.

• Took diverse groups of young people to races and events, such as Hackney School Run and Black to the Trails. 

• Offered personalised mentoring to several of our young people who were struggling with school or life.

• Expanded the career horizons of young people by offering them free work experience opportunities with our partner brands.

What do we want?

We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Partnerships Manager to help drive the next stage of growth at The Outrunners (current annual income circa £350k). This growth will enable us to expand our after-school and holiday programmes reaching more young people where they are, building their confidence and skills.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead our brand and corporate partnerships fundraising strategy and delivery, securing and growing relationships with values-aligned brands and businesses who share our belief in the power of movement to transform young lives.

This is a strategic and hands-on role. You will identify new partnership opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and build long-term relationships that generate income, opportunities and experiences for the young people we support.

Key Responsibilities

1. New partnerships & business development 

• Identify, research and secure new partnerships with values-aligned brands, businesses and organisations.

About the role

We're looking for an ambitious, proactive and relationship-driven individual who excels at securing strategic, long-term corporate partnerships that drive the growth and impact of Spear. Joining our dynamic and growing Corporate Partnerships team, you will play a key role in developing and stewarding high-value partnerships that generate significant income and enable Spear to reach more young people facing barriers to employment.

This role is ideal for someone with strong business development and relationship management skills, who enjoys working both strategically and hands-on to generate income, develop compelling partnership opportunities and build lasting relationships with corporate supporters.

Key Information

• Salary: from £38,000, with considerable flex depending on experience
• Full-Time permanent role (4 days per week considered)

Person Specification

• A practising Christian, passionate about Spear's values and mission, with a desire to engage and inspire corporate partners to support young people facing barriers to employment into sustainable work.
• Significant senior-level experience in corporate fundraising, corporate social responsibility, business development or strategic partnerships.
• Proven ability to raise funds, develop business partnerships or drive sales. Excellent client management using CRM tools such as Salesforce are desirable.
• An excellent communicator with strong relational skills and the confidence and ability to develop a rapport with and positively influence a variety of people from diverse backgrounds in the corporate space.
• Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to produce compelling proposals for a professional, corporate audience.
• Demonstration of leadership capabilities; proactive, responsive and a self-starter. Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet targets and deadlines.
• Strong numerical, reporting and organizational skills, including the ability to establish appropriate and effective processes and structures.
• Line Management experience desirable but not essential.

Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager who will be responsible for leading the delivery of Rainbow Trust’s Corporate and Community Fundraising strategy and operational plans, which is aligned with the charity’s wider business plan.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and leading a team of four fundraisers to meet combined income targets of over £2M, the post holder will build strong relationships with senior corporate stakeholders, trustees, ambassadors and supporters, acting as an advocate for the charity and ensuring exceptional stewardship.

The role will maximise income, engagement and long-term partnership opportunities across corporate partners, community organisations and volunteer fundraisers. With overall accountability for delivering significant income growth for the organisation.

What we’re looking for: 

A friendly, enthusiastic and experienced fundraiser who achieves results through people – you are socially focused and resilient, enjoy networking and are able to quickly connect with others and build effective working relationships.

A motivating, empathetic and persuasive communicator – you have a selling communications style, are an experienced bid writer, and a confident public speaker with experience of presenting to panels or addressing large audiences.

Knowledge of different corporate and community fundraising initiatives, including charity of the year, cause related marketing and strategic partnerships – you understand the components of a mutually beneficial and multi-faceted partnership, and have proven experience of prospect management and winning new business.

Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, we’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our small team at a critical growth point. We’re looking for someone to build and deliver on our Corporate Partnerships Strategy and lay the groundwork for long term, sustainable corporate income generation as part of our wider Fundraising Strategy.

This is a new role for someone with substantial experience working in corporate partnerships. We’re looking for someone with strong account management and new business skills who can take our fledgling portfolio of corporate supporters and transform it into formal, long-term partnerships generating at least c.£400K by the end of the first 3 years.

You will have a demonstrable track record of securing and account managing five-six figure partnerships. You will have the ability to create propositions in collaboration with programmatic colleagues, and the confidence to pitch a compelling case for support to a range of senior corporate audiences. You will also have excellent communication skills both (written and verbal) and a keen eye for connecting a company’s objectives to the right opportunity at MRF. You will also have the commercial awareness to build partnerships that create genuine, shared value.

This is a partnerships role as much as a fundraising one. Alongside income, you will develop a suite of impactful corporate engagement opportunities and maximise the pro bono, skills and influence that the right partners can bring to our mission.
