We’re looking for someone who can seek out and build great partnerships, cultivate and manage large corporate donors whose values align with ours and help raise brand awareness. Someone who can proactively generate new and repeat business, and enjoys networking and building relationships with both corporate sponsors and high net worth donors.

This is a permanent part-time, and yet flexible role, for 3 days a week. We’ll explore the exact hours and timing with you and together find what works.

Your work with us will raise awareness about the climate crisis and the importance of sustainability in the business world in order to create a liveable future. You’ll help us restore wildlife and marine habitats, improve livelihoods in rural communities, protect against deforestation, alleviate climate anxiety in our young and of course help tackle climate change head on.

What does the role involve: 

• Grow our annual and long-term funding.
• Research and successfully secure new long-term relationships with exciting brands and large corporate donors whose company values align with ours.
• Take the helm in the ongoing stewardship of these accounts, keeping them enthused about being part of JUST ONE Tree, the impact they’ve had and what their involvement means we can achieve together.
• Designing and implementing strategies to increase funding and strong partnerships that raise brand awareness and reach new audiences.
• Research networking, speaking events and opportunities for the CEO, yourself and others to attend, to build our network and profile.

What’s in it for you

The focus in the team is on building partnerships with businesses, through commercial activity, fundraising or strategic support. As well as driving positive change for people affected by terminal illness and bereavement in the workplace, Compassionate Employers is an important income generation stream and ‘door-opener’ for Hospice UK.

Established in 1997, Jigsaw4u provide a range of services for children, young people and families experiencing complex social and emotional difficulties in South West London.  Jigsaw4u has experienced considerable growth and development over the past several years, and this new role has been identified by the Board of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer to support Jigsaw4u’s position and aspirations for the future.

As a member of our Senior Management Team (SMT), you will help to deliver and shape Jigsaw4u's vision and strategy. Ideal Candidate: 

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and driven Senior Corporate Partnerships Executive to join our team in this integral and newly created role. The role will lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, and developing and managing a pipeline of strategic corporate partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with corporate partners, understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work.

Key responsibilities:

· Identify and nurture relationships with prospective corporate partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR.

· Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective corporate partners.

· Work closely with PCR's delivery departments and other income streams to identify, develop and maximise income generation opportunities.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling funding proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and objectives of corporate partners.

· Lead negotiations and secure funding support from corporate partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work.

· Effectively manage project monitoring and reporting for PCR’s existing funded activities with corporate partners, including regular communication, reporting, and public recognition of contributions (as appropriate), working closely with PCR’s delivery and communications teams.

· Stay informed of industry trends, corporate philanthropy initiatives, and relevant developments to inform partnership strategies and opportunities.

Skills and experience:

· Experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income from prospective corporate partners, supported by detailed partnership plans.

· Experience of developing and managing at least five-figure partnerships with pharmaceutical and healthcare related companies is desirable.

· Experience of creating and organising supporter engagement events is desirable.

· Excellent and persuasive communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with corporate partners.

· Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop creative solutions, and deliver upon corporate partnership objectives.

· Experience of preparing compelling and persuasive funding proposals, presentations and reports.

· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Ability to work flexibly according to the demands of the role, including the potential for UK and international travel and attendance at events and conferences.

Kent Refugee Action Network are looking for an exceptional individual to join KRAN’s senior management and be the full-time lead on advocacy and support, managing a team to deliver effectively for our service users.

Role Summary

You will lead KRAN’s strategic direction and delivery of a variety of advocacy and support services, ensuring safe and effective operation through your Advocacy and Support Team.

The team offers a range of services and interventions to support and empower young refugees and asylum seekers. Services include casework, mentoring partnerships, volunteer support, wellbeing activities, Youth Ambassadors and engagement. The BDA is established as the leading dyslexia charity in the UK.

Unfortunately, the need for our support and services is high. Although awareness of dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties has grown, there are ongoing and widening gaps in access to the identification of dyslexia and the provision of expert learning support. Our national Helpline is busier than ever, supporting almost 5,500 people each year, reminding us on a daily basis why we must keep fighting for the rights of our beneficiaries.

Against a challenging backdrop for so many organisations, last financial year we saw continued growth in income from fundraising and training. We invested in growing our team and identified five strategic objectives for the period 2023-2026, and activities are currently underway to deliver these priorities. Our next CEO will continue to oversee these whilst laying the foundations for our next strategy cycle which we intend to publish in 2026. As such, the timing of this appointment allows the successful candidate the opportunity to work with the Board and other key stakeholders to articulate the long-term vision for our charity, establishing a plan that enables us to expand our reach and deepen our programmes.

The role of CEO at the BDA is one of both challenge and immense reward, offering the chance to lead a passionate and skilled team dedicated to making a tangible difference in society. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, leadership experience and a commitment to promoting inclusion for our beneficiaries in education, in work and in life. At Make Votes Matter (MVM), our mission is to achieve real democracy via the necessary step of equal votes.

We lead the movement to introduce Proportional Representation (PR) to the House of Commons. We combine the power of people taking action from the grassroots up, with coordinated activity by a cross-party Alliance of politicians, public figures, parties and organisations to win PR in years, rather than decades.

About the role

As CEO, you'll support us through a new stage in our development. We're operating in a fluid political environment and so our new leader needs to be confident to work in a political setting while also having the skills and experience to run an organisation like ours.

You'll take ultimate responsibility for our campaign to achieve Proportional Representation in the House of Commons. You will:

• as leader of the campaign, be primarily responsible for building the popular and political momentum needed to secure this seismic reform;
• as leader of the organisation, be primarily responsible for defining and executing MVM’s strategy, while ensuring its good financial health and legal and regulatory compliance; and
• as leader to our staff and volunteer team, be primarily responsible for providing clarity of direction while ensuring the organisation maintains a collaborative, empowering and inspiring culture.

You will:

• lead the UK campaign for Proportional Representation;
• ensure MVM has a clear external brand, with consistent messages, effective and emotive arguments, and impactful use of evidence;
• be a spokesperson for the organisation on a variety of public platforms including national media and at key MVM events;
• create and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders;
• lead on development of MVM's post-election strategic plan;
• line manage and delegate responsibilities to staff, as appropriate;
• take ultimate responsibility for the good governance of MVM, including but not limited to the organisation’s financial health, legal compliance, and good standing with regulatory bodies;
• with support of relevant MVM staff, to ensure that the Board is supported in performing its governance role;
• support and comply with MVM’s policies active within the organisation pertinent to the role; and
• undertake other related duties as required to assist MVM in meeting its objectives.

About you

This job is for you if:

• you have a track-record as a successful leader in an organisation of comparable size, or equivalent managerial or director experience;
• you have political or campaigning experience, an understanding of the UK’s democracy sector and an ability to work in a non-partisan, cross-party way;
• you have experience of being a spokesperson on public platforms;
• you have a collaborative approach to team management and facilitating empowerment of staff;
• you have prior experience of good governance practices, financial planning and managing an operation to tight budgets;
• you are an experienced leader of people, able to ensure coherent and aligned activities across staff, governance and volunteer teams that support the overall objectives and enable high impact campaigns to be realised;
• you have excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to convey a message with impact and inspire trust; being comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders, volunteers, staff and funders;
• you are a high achiever with an ambitious mindset; and
• you have a strong personal commitment to winning Proportional Representation.

We're looking for a marketing & communications professional passionate about mobilising Christians and Churches to join with Tearfund in standing with and speaking up for those who live in extreme poverty in order that they may fulfil their God-given potential.  Is that you?

The purpose of this role is to develop and manage Tearfund's advocacy product portfolio in a way that engages supporters (individuals and churches) in meaningful advocacy activities aligned to Tearfund's work as part of their whole life response to poverty, delivering against Tearfund's advocacy targets and strategies.

The postholder will work alongside a fundraising marketing team working on our four key fundraising domains (acquisition marketing, retention marketing, church & community engagement, legacy & in memory fundraising) and will lead on developing new and existing campaigning initiatives, appeals and projects that will both integrate and fit alongside our other marketing activities.

Key areas of focus for the postholder would be:

• Generating and leading on the exploration of ideas for various advocacy marketing / movement-building activities
• Leading on new and existing advocacy marketing appeals and projects
• Lead on the monitoring of campaign and project performance including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Liaising with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders

Do you have the following experience?

• An experienced marketing professional with an understanding of the charity sector
• A passion for, and experience in, recruiting, inspiring, resourcing and mobilising activists 
• Multi-channel marketing experience across a variety of media channels including direct mail, press and digital channels
• Experience of working with creative agencies and external suppliers

• Strategic thinking, and desire to drive forward new ways of doing things.
• Ability to influence and work alongside senior stakeholders
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to write reports and creative briefs

You will lead and manage the organisation’s portfolio of social mobility leadership strands, and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders. You will provide dynamic day-to-day leadership for the Making The Leap’s directorate responsible for income generation, impact, research, communications and policy, and ensure the organisation continues to be an exemplar of innovation, integrity and collaboration. You will also be contributing to, implementing and monitoring delivery of the organisation’s strategic plan.
