The Charity team is responsible for raising millions of pounds each year to ensure Christie patients receive the very best care and treatment. This includes everything from access to world first clinical trials and receiving radiotherapy in state-of-the-art treatment centres, to young adults being cared for in a bespoke age-appropriate centre and being able to offer patients anxiety reducing complementary therapy, or even creative sessions in our art room.

This role will join an ambitious programme developing the capacity of the Libraries Connected public library networks. We want to help them evolve as strategic partnerships able to deliver social impacts at scale and to secure resources and investment from national, regional and sub-regional government. The role is part of a small team of two Regional Managers, supported by an Administrator.

- Deliver at scale. For example, the Yorkshire & Humber regional network has 15 library services, and 348 library buildings.
- Create opportunities for cost saving – through joint procurement and shared / collaborative services.
- Share good practice and experience on a formal and integrated basis.
We have 9 regional networks in England, covering all library services and ranging in size from 9 to 33 services. Within each region they provide hundreds of library branches, thousands of staff, and serve millions of service users. They have a long tradition of working together as peer support networks and to deliver activities such as festivals, marketing, and staff training.

The Communications team is responsible for informing, inspiring and engaging the public by showcasing Alzheimer’s Research UK’s work, impact and mission across all channels. We are seeking a Communications Manager, Research to join our Communications Team and line manage the Research Communications team. The Communications Manager, Research, leads the development and delivery of communications that promote and explain the charity’s research strategy, programmes and scientific impact. They act as the primary communications partner to the Research Directorate, shaping research narratives and overseeing high‑quality content that brings our science to life for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
· Lead the development of communications strategies and plans for major research programmes, including: Blood Biomarker Challenge, Dementia Frontiers Fund, Clinical Accelerator, GRB, DDA, and research partnerships.
· Act as the senior communications partner to the Research Directorate, advising on messaging, positioning, risks and opportunities.
· Shape and maintain the overarching research narrative and storyline, feeding into organisational messaging, master slide decks and presentations.
· Ensure research communications plans align with organisational strategy and cross‑team communications activity.
Delivery & Oversight
· Oversee the creation of key research communications materials: Communication plans, FAQs, messaging documents, web content, reports and updates.
· Ensure content is scientifically accurate, engaging and accessible for a range of audiences, including supporters, partners, researchers and policymakers.
· Oversee communications planning around scientific conferences (e.g., AAIC, AD/PD), ensuring identification of key research outputs and coordinating content production.
· Work with the Content Team to deliver researcher‑friendly content and impact stories that articulate the charity’s scientific contribution.
Cross‑Team Collaboration
· Collaborate with Press, Content, Corporate Comms and Digital teams to ensure consistent messaging on research across all channels.
· Act as a research communications expert internally, supporting colleagues who need scientific context, messaging or guidance.
· Lead the planning and delivery of research‑specific social media content in partnership with digital colleagues.
Team Leadership & Management
· Line manage, coach and develop members of the Research Comms team, ensuring high performance, prioritisation and skills development.

What the job involves
As Product and Delivery Manager, you'll play a key role in helping us deliver technology that supports Prostate Cancer UK’s mission. You'll be responsible for shaping the direction of our internal products and systems, making sure they continue to meet the needs of colleagues across the organisation and provide long-term value. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll help identify priorities, assess opportunities for improvement, and ensure technology investment supports our strategic goals.
You'll lead the planning and delivery of technology projects and enhancements, turning business needs into clear, achievable plans. From managing product roadmaps and delivery schedules to coordinating resources and tracking progress, you'll ensure work is delivered effectively and to a high standard. You'll oversee the full delivery lifecycle, helping teams navigate challenges and keeping stakeholders informed along the way. You’ll also be acting as line manager to a team of three direct reports.
Working across a range of products, systems and data services, you'll bring together colleagues, technical specialists and external partners to achieve shared outcomes. Acting as a bridge between business and technology teams, you'll build strong relationships, encourage collaboration, and help create a clear understanding of priorities, risks and opportunities.
You'll also help drive continuous improvement across our technology services and ways of working. What we want from you
We're looking for someone with experience of managing digital products, technology delivery, or related projects, who can confidently balance day-to-day delivery with longer-term planning. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple priorities and helping teams deliver valuable outcomes. Experience working with CRM platforms, particularly within the charity sector, would be an advantage.
You'll have a strong understanding of how technology products and services are developed and delivered, including experience of Agile ways of working and the software development lifecycle. You'll be able to work effectively with technical specialists, understanding the opportunities and constraints involved in developing, integrating and supporting systems, while helping non-technical colleagues make informed judgements.
Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills are essential. You'll be able to bring together different perspectives, translating complex information into clear and accessible language, and helping teams navigate challenges where there may not be an obvious solution. Experience leading or coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, including external suppliers and partners, will help you succeed in this role.

How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs. Due to the nature of this role, we would expect the postholder to be in the office three times per week.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

The Senior Risk Relationship Manager provides pivotal leadership in risk management, operational resilience, governance and data protection across Hope for Justice and Slave-Free Alliance globally. Operating at the second line of defence (L2), the role delivers independent oversight, guidance, and constructive challenge, strengthening risk management and compliance across the organisation. It supports and holds operational teams to account, ensuring risks are effectively identified, managed, and aligned with organisational risk appetite and governance requirements.
Aligned with ISO 31000 principles, the role leads the development, maturation, and embedding of an enterprise risk approach that integrates risk into strategy, operations, and organisational culture, enabling clear ownership across both centralised and decentralised functions.
The postholder works closely with operational and security leaders to strengthen organisational readiness for, and response to, major incidents and crises, ensuring effective escalation, coordination, and learning.

- Collaborate with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing and Digital teams to produce effective marketing and communications which meet audience objectives, interpreting briefs and deliver creative solutions that achieve campaign objectives.
- Lead creative concepts from initial brief through to final delivery, presenting ideas confidently to stakeholders and translating feedback into exceptional outputs. Develop efficient creative briefing and workflow processes that support excellent project delivery.
- Run weekly design clinics to review all business as usual design and video outputs.
- Manage and develop the creative team, including the Designer and Video Producer, providing leadership, coaching and support.
About you
We're looking for a creative leader who combines outstanding design expertise with strong project management and people skills.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience developing and delivering high-quality creative campaigns and marketing communications.
- Experience leading creative projects from concept through to implementation and review.
- Proven experience managing and developing people.
- Strong strategic brand and design experience, with a keen eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency.
- Excellent knowledge of digital design, accessibility and print production.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- An understanding of video production, with the ability to guide and support video-based projects.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

This role leads the ongoing development and implementation of Battersea's Supporter Experience strategy, creating relevant and engaging supporter experiences that build loyalty, increase long-term value and support income growth. Working across Public Fundraising and the wider Income Generation directorate, the role is responsible for shaping supporter journeys, embedding supporter-centred approaches and using insight, data and technology to continuously improve engagement, retention and supporter value.
