Main Responsibilities:
- Overall account management responsibility for key partners including our flagship corporate partnership with Barclays.
- Delivering exceptional account management and meeting agreed partnership objectives on programme impact, income, communications, and engagement.
- Building strong networks and working relationships, both internally and externally, by successfully engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Project managing strategic activities, from inception to delivery, and delivering against shared and charity specific goals.
- Proactively seek opportunities to grow our partnerships, maximising income and engagement, and raising external awareness of Family Action’s brand and our work.
- Contributing to the development and success of the Corporate Partnerships Team, support cross-team projects and take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
- Minimum one year’s previous experience of working as a corporate fundraiser in the charity sector or equivalent account management experience in a similar field.
- Experience of working on high value, multi-faceted corporate partnerships which encompass stakeholder management, income generation, employee engagement and fundraising, and communications and campaigns.
- Experience of meeting and exceeding challenging income targets.
- Experience of engaging and influencing with senior stakeholders.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT – ROYAL TRINITY HOSPICE, CLAPHAM
Royal Trinity Hospice (Trinity) is the UK’s oldest hospice and serves a community of 950,000 in central and southwest London. Trinity delivers specialist end-of-life and palliative care at the Hospice and in the community as well as support and counselling services for family and friends. The Compton team deliver transformative funding results allowing the hospice to deliver outstanding care to patients and their families. Trinity is a key client for Compton, and we have a long record of success in generating income and sustainable growth across all income streams for the Hospice.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Currently corporate income at Trinity averages £150-200k per annum and incorporates a small local business supporters programme, corporate sponsorship of hospice events or services and several larger corporate partnerships. The Corporate Partnerships Manager is a newly created role and they will work to increase income from corporate and business partners over the next 3 years. They will develop a strategy for growing this important area of fundraising and execute it.
The successful candidate will build on what has been achieved to date to enhance our corporate offering, which will include engaging more businesses through the Local Business Heroes programme, working in partnership with other departments of the hospice to facilitate corporate volunteering and visits. They will work collaboratively with the Events Coordinator and Head of Philanthropy and Events to secure sponsorship for key events such as the RTH Gala Dinner, Dinner and Quiz, Opera at the Hospice, Light up A Life and others underpinning their financial success. In addition, we will look to the new Manager to enhance and develop our current offering. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be supported by a small team of Fundraising Executives as required and report to the Head of Fundraising.
The successful candidate will:
·Lead on developing and implementing an ambitious corporate fundraising strategy for our client to increase income to £300k+ over the next three years.
·Manage and grow our existing corporate partnerships, retaining relationships where possible and increasing income.
·Improve both our promotion of corporate giving and the processes to steward corporate relationships.
·Manage and grow our SME programme Local Business Heroes with the support of the Fundraising Executives.

Required:
·At least two years of corporate fundraising or corporate relationship management experience.
·A strong track record in managing corporate fundraising promotion and relationship management to achieve sustainable growth.
·An interest and understanding of the importance of corporate support for a local hospice or other charitable organisation.
·A passion for fundraising and aligning with a corporate’s CSR / ESG goals to create meaningful change.
·Excellent relationship management and donor stewardship skills, with the ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals and other key stakeholders.
·Experience of running a variety of campaigns, events or products and monitoring budgets.

About the Role
As Head of Fundraising and Communications, you’ll be working with the Chief Executive, Board of Trustees, and Leadership Team to deliver £1.4m of income and establish a strong financial foundation for the new Youth Zone.
You’ll develop and drive income strategy, lead a high-performing Fundraising and Communications team, and personally manage relationships with key major donors, including local individuals and businesses supporting the Founder Patron campaign. Founder Patrons pledge at least £25k annually for four years, together these 34 Founder Patrons will ensure that the organisation has a strong financial position ensuring the team can transform the lives of 18,000 young people in the first four years.
This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic vision with hands-on fundraising expertise in a role that’s as inspiring as it is impactful.
About You
You will have a demonstrable track record of income generation through personally securing at least five figure major donor gifts from high net worth individual (HNWIs) and/or corporates, with an impressive track record in securing significant funds and meeting challenging financial targets, including both new business and account management
You will have experience of:
- Developing a new pipeline of HNWIs and/or corporate prospects and being pro-active in converting these to active donors.
- Developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies and aligned annual plans, with income and expenditure budgets, and associated fundraiser key performance indicators.
- Stewarding HNWIs and/or corporate donors, or key senior external stakeholders to maintain the highest levels of engagement.
- Managing and motivating team members to achieve their personal and collective goals.
- Working with and influencing senior leaders and peers within an organisation.
- Working to and achieving personal targets and KPIs.
About the Organisation
This is a brand-new locally run youth charity, set to provide thousands of young people with the opportunity to have fun, make new friends, try something new and feel safe. With community centric values and located in the heart of Grimsby, it will be an inspiring place for young people aged 8 – 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure. The building is due to be completed in 2025.

Main responsibilities
In line with our income generation strategy:
· Lead on the strategic planning and implementation of income generation activities to help build sustainability of The Carers’ Centre and its services for 19,600 unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.
· Develop and implement a stewardship programme for donors and funders building support and securing new income for The Carers’ Centre.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues to help deliver The Carers’ Centre vision for carers.
Income generation
· Design and deliver a diverse income generation plan to support philanthropy and fundraising in line with The Carers’ Centre Strategic Plan.
· Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.
· Build long-lasting relationships with key local philanthropists, donors, and funders.
· Work proactively with colleagues to research, identify and scope a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals that will appeal to donors and funders.
· Work closely with communication colleagues to develop appropriate communications campaigns and activities for different supporter groups.
· Contribute towards the charity’s communications and marketing strategy ensuring fundraising is embedded.
· Develop, maintain, and implement relevant policies and procedures in line with our growth plans.

· Provide effective line management and support to direct reports to help them maximise their potential and effectiveness.

Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.
Key Responsibilities

- Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care

- Support processing incoming phone and postal donations
- Assist with banking and processing incoming/outgoing post
- Be responsible for thanking our supporters, including by letter, email and phone, dispatch of information and fundraising materials
- Enter and maintain accurate records on our Database
- Maintain and assist with all types of donation processing, administration and Database record amendments/records being kept up to date. This will include Gift Aid status and contact consent requests
- Assist with cancelling and amending all types of regular gifts and sending out appropriate letters
- Manage the removal process and consent process
- Assist with sending out problem payment letters
- Following up cancelled regular payments as part of the winback process
- Assist with handling material requests and recording actions on the Database
- Assist with any third-party agency supporter care requests
- Maintain sensitive information and records with appropriate confidentiality
