Location: Hybrid role with Nominal office working in Chorley, and regular travel to venues around Lancashire for tenant visits, training, and team meetings.

Lancashire Mind’s Tenancy Management Service works in partnership with several registered housing partners across Lancashire to manage a portfolio of properties on their behalf and provide tenancy support to people living with moderate mental health conditions.

We care about making a difference to people’s lives and through the provision of regular support, we work with each person to improve their mental wellbeing and build the confidence and skills to sustain their tenancy and move on to independent living.

We use an outcome-based approach, making sure that each person is involved in their own support planning from the start of their journey with us and achieve this by offering encouragement and one to one support to help each person to understand and manage their tenancy, develop social and daily living skills, gain access to essential services to manage their mental and physical health and help and guidance to maximise their benefits and improve their economic wellbeing.

Your new role

We are looking for a new Tenancy Management Worker to join our small and friendly team to manage a caseload of customers who have complex needs including mental health conditions, substance misuse, homelessness, and a possible history of offending.

Your job will be to work closely with these individuals to promote independent living and help them to achieve and sustain their tenancies. This is a challenging and varied job which is often rewarding, particularly when the people we have supported achieve their own goals and move on to build better lives.

What you will need to succeed

You will need experience of working with people with complex needs ideally in a supported or social housing setting and have the resilience to support people with a diverse range of mental health conditions to overcome barriers to independent living.

It is important that the right candidate is an excellent communicator, able to listen and understand people’s needs but also confident communicating and liaising with other local services and partner agencies to ensure each person has the right support in place.

An excellent working knowledge of safeguarding practices for protecting vulnerable people is also key to this role and the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate proven experience of this.

Ideally, an understanding of the issues which arise within the social housing sector or experience working in a similar role would be an advantage.

You will need to be a good team player, with the ability to work well with others and be able to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision.

This is an essential car user role as it requires extensive travel to and from tenants’ properties in Lancashire.

We are looking for a Senior Mental Health Advisor with experience of working within mental health services. We Are Survivors are looking for new Senior Trauma Informed Therapists to come and join our growing Therapy Services team.

Due to service development, we have a fantastic opportunity for dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Supervising Keyworkers to join Barnardo's as part of the Greater Manchester Keyworking Service for Children and Young People (CYP) with Learning Disability and/or Autism. 

The keyworker role has 2 main functions:

1. Supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and young autistic people within their home or the setting where the child or young person is living or staying. Providing 1:1 support for the child or young person, and family. co-ordinating links with peers, community networks and other services, to secure the most appropriate provision to meet need now and in the future. The service tries to prevent avoidable admissions to hospital.

2. Understanding from the child or young person and their family experience, what supports a good family life and what gets in the way. This information will be shared in reports and at strategic meetings.. We currently have 4 full time posts available on a permanent contract. The service covers Greater Manchester and the service is split into 5 teams. Each team has a team manager that you will directly report to and work closely with.  The team offices are in Rochdale, Stockport, Salford, Manchester and Bolton.  As a Senior Supervising Keyworker, you will have knowledge, experience, passion, commitment and confidence to line manage and provide guidance to the team of keyworkers supporting CYP and families. This experience may have been gained in education, NHS services or social care roles through Statutory, Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise or other providers. You will be part of the on-call rota system providing out of hours guidance, this averages one week in every 10 - 12 weeks for which there is an on-call payment.

We’re hiring! SMART is looking for a full time Senior Employment Adviser to supervise a team of employment advisers providing support to people who face barriers to obtaining and/or retaining employment, due to mental ill-health, and manage a caseload of their own.

Ideally you will: be able to provide leadership and motivation to your peers; have experience of working with people who have mental health needs/emotional difficulties in an employment setting; be knowledgeable about relevant laws and policies relating to employment, disabilities and equal opportunities; have experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams and; be able to liaise with other services and professionals on service users’ behalf.

Victim Support is proud to have been commissioned to provide an Affected by Crime (ABC) service across Humberside which will provide a single point of contact for victims of all crime, whether or not they have reported to the police, to receive support and information.

The ABC service will be a valuable point of contact for anyone affected by crime at any time to contact and receive help, support and information. It will be a busy and fast paced hub, receiving calls of varying nature from a variety of people.

We have opportunities available to work within the Humberside ABC service and are looking for dedicated, passionate and empathic people to join and enhance our team.

The role of Senior Inital Support Officer (known internally as a Senior Triage and Early Interventions Officer) is to line manage a team of Triage and Early Interventions Officers as well as to answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to a range of individuals affected by crime.

The Senior Triage and Early Interventions Officer will also speak to victims of crime and callers to the service and provide early intervention support and needs and risk assessing.

About the role:

Your role as Senior Triage and Early Interventions Officer (TEIO) will be to;

• line manage a team of TEIOs
• allocate work to the team
• provide early intervention support and work with those affected by crime
• ensure quality of service by monitoring and sampling work
• work with other managers to develop, enhance and coordinate the Hub

You will need:

• good organisational & people and communication skills
• experience of managing others & an understanding of managing a team in a similar environment
• experience of answering calls & speaking to people in distress
• the ability to keep calm and make decisions based on information
• good IT skills, able to work on a case management system, access phone & online systems, email and Microsoft Office programmes
