About the role

​As a Training Coordinator for SafeLives, you will provide effective and efficient co-ordination of resources and support for the Training team, commissioners and learners across all SafeLives’ training programmes.

Duties include:

• Respond to learner, commissioner and partner emails in a timely way and manage your inbox efficiently
• Serve as the first point of contact by answering and managing daily phone communications, including calls from the public
• Manage financial tasks such as invoicing, checking credit card payments, and verifying incoming invoices (weekly)
• Schedule associates for training delivery and book the travel, accommodation and Zoom / Teams meetings
• Process course applications, waiting lists and subsidies using Arlo (online bookings software)
• Send all necessary course information and updates to learners, colleagues and associates both digitally and physically
• Be available to support trainers and learners on the day of training and resolve any issues
• Provide tailored support for learners with additional needs
• Create Microsoft Forms feedback forms and evaluation reports
• Work flexibly with the team to resolve problems and cover workloads as appropriate
• Update Outlook calendars and spreadsheets (for delivery, accruals, impact measures, expenses)
• Save documents to SharePoint
• Work with finance to track payments
• Update the WordPress website
• Track learners’ accreditation progress (course applications, worksheet submissions, plagiarism checks, accreditation with OCN)
• Manage resources on Moodle & Turnitin
• Support learners with registrations, logins, grades, certificates, and extensions
• Engage in a constructive and effective way with all survivors of abuse, through calls to the office, Pioneer interaction, with colleagues and any other interaction we have in our day-to- day work
• Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Location: Hybrid working/Bristol office minimum of one day per week.

As our Medical Operations Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run efficiently and strategically enabling our medical teams to deliver maximum impact in cardiovascular science and patient care.

You’ll plan and coordinate high-level meetings, manage logistics, and work closely with the Portfolio Manager to support strategic planning and performance reporting. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our research and health programmes, helping us save and improve lives.

Key responsibilities

• Operational Delivery: Lead the coordination of key meetings with internal and external stakeholders and our biannual directorate all staff meeting with 100+ attendees.
• Meeting & Activity Coordination: Manage logistics for internal and external meetings—diary coordination, venue booking, travel arrangements while supporting with the preparation of agendas, capturing minutes, and tracking actions.
• Planning & Performance Insight: Work with the Portfolio Manager to gather and analyse data that informs strategic planning and performance tracking. Help develop planning materials and monitor progress.
• Cross-Directorate Collaboration: Work with colleagues across Research, Health, and other Directorates to support the successful delivery of BHF’s strategy.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate organisational charts, distribution lists, and communication channels. Support onboarding of new staters by managing clear, informative resources.

About you

You’ll be confident, highly organised with a strong background in administration, project coordination, and operational delivery. You'll also be used to working at pace, managing competing priorities, and keeping things on track with precision and calm.

With experience coordinating meetings and events, managing complex diaries, and supporting senior leaders—ideally at Director level, you'll be adept at handling sensitive information and skilled in supporting the preparation of agendas and meeting notes with input from both internal and external stakeholders.

Digitally fluent, you’ll be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce high-quality documents reports, and presentations. With a sharp analytical mindset and keen attention to detail, you'll also have experience of interpreting data and translating it into clear, insightful reports that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

A natural collaborator and excellent relationship builder, able to influence effectively and align stakeholders around shared goals, you'll bring strong organisational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Ideally, you’ll also bring knowledge of the UK medical research charity, health, or academic sector—and a genuine interest in the British Heart Foundation’s mission and values.

Working arrangements

This is initially a 14-month fixed term contract with the potential to be extended for longer.

About You

This role would suit an experienced HR generalist with a collaborative approach, who enjoys working in a small, values-led team.

Essential experience and skills include:

• Proven experience in HR operations, ideally in a standalone or SME setting
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, including the Equality Act
• Ability to manage systems and use HR data to generate insight
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Skilled in process improvement and implementing best practice
• Experience supporting inclusive recruitment and staff development
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills
• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) preferred

A background in the charity, arts or creative sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.

The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Operations and Data Officer. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to help maintain, develop and continuously improve our data and systems. The role will be an integral part of the Living Wage Operations and Insight Team, providing technical support to ensure the integrity of our systems, and supporting with development projects.

Working as the Operations and Data Officer– LWF for Citizens UK, reporting to Senior Data & Operations Manager, LWF, your main responsibilities will include: 

Project Management 

Deliver work targets on time and to standard to support the Foundation’s data and systems: : 

•  Support the day-to-day operations and management of all systems within the Living Wage Foundation designed to enable the functioning of Living Wage accreditation schemes. 

•  Proactively seek out systems improvements to make our processes more efficient so the Living Wage Foundation continues to provide an excellent service to the Living Wage network. 

•  Provide operational support for all aspects of the accreditation and recognition systems, including identifying and fixing errors. 

• Maintain integrity of Salesforce database; identify and source incomplete information within the database; take responsibility for tidying, cleansing and backing up existing data. 

• Support maintenance of integrated systems, including syncing data to Act-On and the website. 

• Work with Operations and Data Manager to keep templates, forms and related communications materials up to date 

• Manage merchandise administration including email inbox, day to day queries, and Shopify administration. 

• Support Operations and Data Manager to manage budgets for external contracts (e.g. with developers and suppliers). 

  Learning and expertise 

• Keep up-to-date with functional good practice and technical updates to all our systems, including within the third sector. 

• Support with network data enquiries, including analysing data, creating Salesforce reports and dashboards for colleagues. 

• Work with colleagues to identify learning & development needs and support Operations and Data Manager to develop and deliver inductions, training and guidance to meet requirements.

• Create and write dashboards and reports to support the analysis of our performance. 

• Champion systems throughout the organisation and advocate for systems-based solutions. Offer ad hoc guidance to the team and help communicate any changes to systems. 

• Run systems surgeries for colleagues to answer ad hoc enquiries and support learning. 

Develop and manage external relationships 

• Communicate effectively with our external contractors (e.g. merchandise suppliers) to ensure contracts are fulfilled in a timely manner. 

• Help identify suitable new suppliers to meet organisational need. 

Develop and manage internal relationships 

• Support Operations and Data Manager to identify technical solutions to meet organisational requirements. 

• Monitor and respond to operations and data enquiries from colleagues. Work effectively with colleagues across Citizens UK, actively participate in the team and organisational wide events. 

Income and resources 

• Maintain Salesforce data integrity to support accurate and timely invoicing. Help ensure the integrity and safety of our data advising wider organisation on best practice where appropriate. 

• Support Operations and Data Manager to track expenditure for Shopify and merchandise suppliers. 

• Contribute to plans and proposals to grow sources of income or resources.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Talent and Workforce Planning Lead implements our defined workforce planning principles across the organisations to ensure the Woodland Trust has the right skills to deliver its strategic goals.

The Role: 
•    This role is key to helping us meet our organisation strategic goals over the next 3-5 years by introducing planning principles to hire the right skills. 
•    You’ll analyse internal and external people data to create action plans, succession plans and clear career pathways.
•    You’ll implement the workforce planning principals to develop short, medium and long-term action plans.

The Philanthropy team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing donations from individual major donors, grant-making trusts and foundations. The role of Philanthropy Officer is key to the success of the Philanthropy team, working closely with other team members and stakeholders across ARUK.

At the heart of the Philanthropy team is our desire to help our supporters change the world, in a way that is meaningful and exciting to them.

We work with a growing portfolio of individual donors and charitable trusts, getting to know them - through meetings, events, lab tours, reporting on the impact of their donations and regular touchpoints - so that we can match their philanthropic goals to our research initiatives. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Relationship building and income generation

· Build relationships with a portfolio of current and prospective major donors and charitable trusts, gauging their level of interest in our work, providing them with opportunities to engage with ARUK, and encouraging them to invest in our research.

· Develop an engagement plan for each relationship, taking full ownership and moving each donor / trust forward through qualification, solicitation and stewardship.

· Fundraise for different aspects of ARUK’s work, including key research initiatives such as the Drug Discovery Alliance.

· Think ambitiously and creatively in producing compelling and persuasive written communications for donors, including letters, proposals, applications and progress reports.

· Solicit donors for gifts at face-to-face meetings, where appropriate.

· Provide an exceptional level of stewardship to donors, ensuring they are thanked and updated and that their relationship with ARUK grows in depth and value.

· Think innovatively and support the team’s goal to embed the use of digital in our work.

· Work with senior volunteers and senior staff, where appropriate, empowering them to open their networks and ask for support.

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in the Science Communications, Media and Engagement, Research and Finance teams.

CRM

· Ensure donor records are kept up-to-date through daily use of Salesforce.

· Use Salesforce to track income and activity, and as a planning tool.

Events

· Support the Donor Relations Manager in planning bespoke events / lab tours for our supporters, by providing guest lists, communicating with invitees and updating Salesforce records.

· Represent ARUK at Philanthropy team events, and at other ARUK events where major donors or the representatives of charitable trusts may be attending.
