Person Specification
- A practising Christian who is passionate about personally representing the Christian values of Resurgo and committed to Resurgo's mission to inspire and equip organisation to bring about ambitious and sustainable social change.
- Excellent relationship building and application writing skills. Experience in Trust fundraising or an equivalent field is desirable but not essential.
- Some knowledge of statutory fundraising is desirable but not essential.

- Excellent people skills, able to relate well to colleagues of all seniority levels, freelancers, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
- Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
- Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.
Write applications and reports
- Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
- Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
- Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
- Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner.
Data Management and Monitoring
- Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
- Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.
Line Management
- Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

Senior Fundraising Campaigns Project Manager

Purpose of Role
As Senior Fundraising Campaigns Project Manager you will take a key role in the planning and delivery of Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns, developing project management best practices, managing project managers, and ensure the overarching planning, management and coordination of projects. The majority of projects will be related to fundraising activity but on occasion could also include other projects for our funding team, partnerships team and production team. The role will work with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure planning processes, project governance and reporting is developed and embedded into all fundraising activity, primarily as it relates to Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
· Work with the Head of Campaign Strategy and Planning to track a portfolio of projects, taking on the project management responsibility for select projects, primarily Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns (managing multiple projects at a time)
· Develop project management best practice, evolving methods as needs arise. Ensure practices are followed across the project management team
· Manage projects across a full project lifecycle, including project briefing, scoping, set up, governance, planning, task management, communication, coordination and tracking and reporting
· Lead key strategic projects, including for large fundraising campaigns
· Work with fundraising strategists to brief delivery team members and manage the delivery of fundraising activity that is executed by delivery team members spanning fundraising, PR, content production, finance, technology and data
· Develop and embed activity tracking plans and documentation for stakeholders to enable you to efficiently manage and integrate their activity into wider programme, keeping senior stakeholders informed and engaged
· Work with teams to ensure dependencies and risk are actively managed, acting as an arbiter and supporting the resolution of issues. Identify and manage dependencies and risk of varying complexity across the full programme taking corrective action or highlighting issues for escalation as required
· Use tracking and reporting tools and briefings/huddles that ensure that the progress of all project activity is communicated, changing the nature of these as projects develop
· To work with key stakeholders across the organisation, particularly in the Project Management Office, to ensure consistency and alignment during the execution of the organisation’s projects
· Represent project management best practice and identify and facilitate learning opportunities that create efficient and smart ways of working
· Provide line management of a Fundraising Campaigns Project Manager, providing support, development and challenge, and ensuring cross-project learnings are shared and implemented effectively

Job Purpose
This is a new role within Park Lodge Project. You will be responsible for researching and leading all fundraising bids, developing funding opportunities and working with service delivery colleagues to respond to opportunities. You will lead on all aspects of bid writing, including showcasing and reporting young people impact data.
You will work closely with the CEO and the Chair of the Fundraising Trustee Committee to support the strategy, development and delivery of identified opportunities. You will be the lead on organising key stakeholder events.

· The role sits within the Secondary Schools team and reports to the Senior Project Manager.
· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays
· Working from home (WFH) is typically 2 days a week
· Flexibility may be required to cover meetings or deliver events outside of these hours and WFH days

You will prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior management and trustees. You will monitor budgets and forecasts, process invoices, expenditure, and bank reconciliations. You will manage and maintain the Trust’s finance system (Sage). You will look to continuously evolve financial processes and procedures. You will also support with the administration of restricted funds, grants, and project budgets, including reporting to funders.
To be successful in this role, you will be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent finance qualification. You will have experience in a similar finance role, ideally in the charity or non-profit sector. You will have a strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar packages). You will also have demonstrable experience using Microsoft Excel and excellent attention to detail.
You will have an understanding of charity finance, in particular restricted and unrestricted funding. You will be a strong communicator, who can work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and present financial information in a clear manner.
Desirably, you will have experience supporting financial reporting for externally funded projects (e.g. National Lottery Heritage Fund). You will also have knowledge of SORP and charity accounting standards.
