We have an opportunity available for a Business and Development Relationship Manager to join our Business Development team. As Business and Development Relationship Manager, your key focus will be to have a direct impact upon the growth and success of the business through the strategic contribution to service development and new business development.

This role will be home based with regular travel across the Midland and South of England region. You will be required to attend at Head Office (based in Warrington, Cheshire) for monthly team meetings, supervisions and as and when required. Salary £57,742 per annum. Contract of 39 hours per week. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing and growing the customer base across the region, establishing, and maintaining key strategic partnerships with commissioners, ICBs, housing providers and other stakeholders.
• Revenue targets and relevant KPIs are delivered across the region whilst ensuring service sustainability is maintained.
• Establishing demand needs within the local areas whilst supporting with new developments, with interests in LD & MH Services.
• The ability to develop high-level reports and briefings, managing complex data and information to provide concise recommendations and detailed action plans.

For this role you will need to be able to work independently and work with the wider business development team on competitive bids and tendering across the region. We are seeking someone who is willing to lend a helping hand and constantly looking for ways to improve process. You will need to have patience, an understanding nature and active listening skills. Qualifications

Candidates must have a relevant qualification in Business management, or be willing to work towards.  Extensive experience of successful sales/negotiation within a health and social care context is essential this for this role. The Chief Executive will be responsible for providing leadership, developing, and implementing Living Well Bromley’s strategic and operational plans, leading on partnership and business development, and being an effective advocate for the charity and its beneficiaries.

The role fits within the wider Leadership Team and working closely with other HODs and Managers will be a key ingredient to success. 

Role purpose: 

• Set & deliver the Business Development Strategy alongside the Director of Engagement that supports growth, reach, and impact of Leadership Skills Foundation programmes. 
• Drive operational progress by developing positive and proactive working relationships with other Heads of Department.
• Influence the future direction of the Leadership Skills Foundation as a member of the Leadership Team.

The main resposnsibiltiies will be:

• Effectively manage and develop the Business Development Team and relationship management functions to meet agreed budgets and maximise learner/programme registrations.
• Accountable for the Business Development team’s sales planning and forecasting including annual budgeting.
• Regularly developing and presenting clear insight and analysis on market activity, responsibilities, and opportunities.
• Work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications and New Business Development Manager to devise and deliver targeted new business campaigns and activities.
• Work closely with the Retained Business Development Manager to devise and deliver strategies to retain and grow our centres.
• Work with the Business Development Coordinator to ensure engagement processes and the customer journey meet the needs of centres efficiently.
• Maintain a working knowledge and up to date awareness of the sectors, market audiences and landscape the Leadership Skills Foundation works with.

• Implement the one company/vision/culture and demonstrate its impact.
• To carry out environmental scanning to recognize opportunities and challenges and formulate appropriate actions to position the Foundation in line with its agreed objectives.

About the role

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Manager with a passion for relationship building and service sales. Someone who can actively engage and work with our existing client portfolio and win new business through formal tendering opportunities to ensure VoiceAbility remains a provider of choice.

In this new role, you will sit in the Business and Strategy directorate working proactively with external stakeholders and colleagues from across the organisation to ensure that we grow our portfolio of contracts, re-win existing business and advise clients of new services. You will be doing a mixture of new business sales and account management of existing services.

This position is a full-time, 35 hours a week, permanent contract with a starting salary between £39,000 - £46,500 per annum depending on skills and experience. CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit adoption agencies across the UK who specialise in finding homes for children in care. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The programme has developed a strong reputation for attracting a range of subject experts to deliver cost effective, engaging and useful training. The full programme is listed on the CVAA UK website and inlcudes topics such as LGBTQ+ parenting; therapy for children; identity formation; racism and anti-racism; parenting courses; theraplay and many more.

Due to a restructure of the team, we are now looking for a Training Manager who can oversee the administration and delivery of the programme. Initially fixed term, it is anticipated that this post will become permanent. We are keen to have someone joiun us as soon as possible.

The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development to ensure that the courses are full, supported, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.

The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. The team is small, diverse and dynamic. Experience of project management or delivery of training or events is more important than knowledge of adoption or children's social care. Haringey Community Collaborative Manager

We are looking for someone who has experience of either operational or operational and strategic management skills, with a proven track record of leading, delivering and developing projects or services. 

Having a keen interest in the local community and a passion to ensure that local VCS within the Borough of Haringey is appropriately engaged with and supported, bringing people together and working in a role that can effect positive change resulting in improved outcomes for people who the VCS support and work with.

Job Summary

The Haringey Community Collaborative Manager is responsible for leading the development of the VCS Capacity Building strategy and the effective co-ordination of the Community Collaborative team which includes a Communications and Engagement Officer, a Workplace Development Manager, and a Capacity Building Manager.

We envisage the Haringey Community Collaborative Manager performing at either a primarily operational level or, for a more experienced candidate, at both operational and strategic levels. The salary range reflects this, with the upper end of the salary range reserved for candidates who can demonstrate an ability to deliver at both the operational and strategic levels.

Operationally, the postholder will have specific management responsibility for co-developing priorities for local VCS funding and capacity building, as well as the Volunteer Centre and wider VCS community of practice. The post holder has lead responsibility for developing the Annual Work Programme, performance management and reporting against the targets and milestones in the Contract.

Strategically, the role would include a wider contribution to the strategic management and development of Public Voice, supporting the CEO as required. This would include leading the shaping and delivery of a Capacity Building strategy; representing the VCS Alliance at stakeholder meetings and influencing key stakeholders to better support Haringey’s VCS; as well as growing the reach and impact of the Capacity Building service by engaging new funders and partners.

Their creative flair and understanding of what mobilises individual giving audiences will help them to develop compelling propositions for support. Their strategic mindset and data literacy will ensure they spot performance trends and optimise their campaigns over time.

As individual giving lead, the Senior Income & Engagement Officer will join War on Want at a very exciting time. We have recently launched a new supporter mobilisation strategy to bring transformative growth to our supporter base, both increasing participation with War on Want campaigns, and increasing the number of active War on Want members who support our work with regular monthly donations.

Your experience will include supporting network devices and concepts, printers, softphones and other business hardware and software.
