We are seeking an Events Manager to lead UnLtd’s event portfolio while our current Events Manager is on maternity leave. This person will be responsible for leading, coordinating and delivering the event plan in line with the organisational strategy. We are looking for a confident event specialist who will be able to support our frontline team to deliver a schedule of events for social entrepreneurs and UnLtd’s wider network.
You will be flexible in your approach and confident managing the whole process from planning through to delivery and event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of, and at times leading, a cross-functional team. This role will suit you if you are patient and keep calm when things don’t go to plan, or when you don’t have all the answers you need. You’ll fall back on your meticulous organisation skills to ensure that UnLtd events are produced efficiently, fulfil their purpose, and are executed to the highest level.
This role may include some travel within the UK and evening work; however, we operate a TOIL system.

Strategic leadership
- Lead the development and implementation of a multi-year income generation strategy aligned to Alopecia UK priorities.
- Work across the organisation to ensure fundraising activity is fully integrated with operational delivery, partnering closely with the finance, communications and delivery managers to align plans, resources and messaging, and to ensure shared initiatives are realistic, coordinated and achievable.

Income growth & diversification
As a part-time role within a small charity, the postholder will need to carefully prioritise income-generating opportunities alongside stewardship and relationship management. In year one, a key focus will be establishing effective donor pathways through the rollout of our new CRM, ensuring supporters experience clear and meaningful journeys with the charity. Alongside this, the Senior Fundraising Manager will assess and determine which early opportunities for growth should be prioritised. While areas such as community fundraising, digital campaigns and regular giving are likely to offer early potential, the postholder will lead decisions on where to focus effort and investment to generate the strongest returns.
- Leverage and optimise existing community and public fundraising activity to increase income and supporter numbers.
- Develop and grow new revenue streams, to potentially include digital fundraising campaigns, regular giving, trusts and grants, and legacy giving.
- Lead creatively and intellectually on compelling campaigning initiatives that drive engagement and income.

CRM
- Support the design and rollout of our first CRM system, working closely with the Finance & Operations Manager to design fit-for-purpose donor journeys and pathways, establish meaningful reporting frameworks and ensure data supports excellent stewardship and strategic decision-making.
- Use CRM data and financial information to track performance, analyse trends and adjust strategy as required.
Data & impact
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including ICO guidance, GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
- Work closely with the Finance & Operations Manager to ensure our data meaningfully represents organisational outcomes.

The Reading Reboot programme will establish librarian-led social book clubs in over 100 under-funded secondary school libraries across the UK and reach more than 6,000 young people directly, alongside librarians, senior leaders and wider school communities. Reading Reboot places school librarians at the heart of delivery, combining new book stock, inspiring author engagement, appealing library spaces, and a robust evaluation to evidence impact and inform future national roll-out.
The Project Manager will lead on development and delivery, working closely with the CEO, a Project Board and external evaluation team to ensure the programme meets its objectives on time, within budget and to a high quality. They will recruit and coordinate schools and librarians, work with partners and funders, and ensure that learning and impact are captured and shared across the sector. Building strong relationships with all stakeholders, the Project Manager will be the main point of contact for the programme and will support the CEO and Project Board with timely updates, papers and participation in meetings. Successful candidates will have extensive and demonstrable experience of project management in schools or youth settings. Experience of training development and delivery will be an advantage.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will support the Associate Director of Finance to provide insightful analysis of financial trends and oversee the recoverability of funds.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Officer to join our Innovation and Insight Team within the Giving Directorate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to support the directorate's work, ensuring effective promotion of giving and fundraising initiatives. As part of this you will be tasked with creating campaigns and reports, working with external design firms, or developing resources internally to ensure wide ranging impact.

You will work collaboratively across the whole Giving Directorate, collating resources, case studies, and potential messaging opportunities to weave into wider strategic communication, either through our own channels or in partnership with the Communications and Digital Communications teams.
This is a remote fixed-term role till 31 December 2028 with a possibility of extension funding dependent.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic communications plan for the Giving Directorate.
- Deliver comprehensive communication to key stakeholders including Giving Advisors, Dioceses, and Churches, through, but not limited to, the management of Directorate websites and digital platforms.

Success in the role demands good understanding of the devolved nature of the Church of England, and the ability to work effectively across it. The post-holder will be expected to develop material and presentations that are consistent with Christian principles and theology, and as such, should be a member of the Church of England, or in sympathy with the mission and ethos of the Church.
The role may require travel throughout the UK and may also require occasional work on weekends. The role is based within a remote team and weekly travel can be expected during high delivery periods. The role is not based at Church House, but you will need to attend some meetings and training at Church House, and so must be willing to travel to London 1-2 times per month.

The RCSLT is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK. The RCSLT has over 24,000 members and employs around 70 staff predominately based in a London office. The RCSLT also has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
Our mission is to improve the lives of people with communication and swallowing needs by facilitating and promoting research, producing guidance, holding events, and influencing government. We aim to promote better education and training for speech and language therapists and provide information to our members and the public about speech and language therapy.
The role
We are seeking a dynamic advocate to advance and promote the speech and language therapy profession by shaping and implementing policy, monitoring national developments and responding to changes in the external environment. You will lead RCSLT’s policy agenda on workforce matters, providing strategic advice on risks and opportunities to the CEO, Executive Team, Board, Committees and senior stakeholders.
As the policy lead on workforce-related initiatives, you will influence legislation, national funding and guidance across health, social care, education, and justice sectors. You will represent RCSLT at ministerial, government, parliamentary and external stakeholder meetings, as well as on national working groups and advisory boards, ensuring the profession’s voice is prominent in policy and decision-making.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing leadership to drive policy initiatives that promote the profession, influence government decisions, and enhance RCSLT’s national reputation. You will also develop strategic external partnerships to support RCSLT’s influencing priorities and serve as a resource for our members. Working collaboratively within the wider team, you will help increase RCSLT’s impact across all relevant sectors.
What we are looking for
You’ll bring experience of influencing health, education or social care at a national level and carry experience of policy research, consultation, development and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience of building external professional networks as well as be able to effectively campaign and influence. Conditions and Benefits:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Donor Identification, solicitation and management
- Work with the UK Country Manager to grow the donor portfolio in the UK by identifying prospects, building relationships and secure gifts from high net-worth individuals and other philanthropic donors.
- Identify and deliver unique stewardship and cultivation opportunities for donors.
- Manage a portfolio of major donors through various personalised approaches, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, events and written and verbal communications.
- Ensure excellent and timely response to enquiries and stewardship and acknowledgement of gifts.
Events coordination
- Work with the UK Country Manager to help shape and deliver events and other engagement opportunities to generate income, cultivate and steward donors.
- Take responsibility for tailored and timely event follow-up to maximise relationships and using learnings and data from past events to develop donor engagement, referrals and gifts.
Research, communications and administration
- Research potential new donors and funding streams.
- Support the production of proposals, pitches, reports and general supporter communications.
- Use Salesforce to manage the accurate recording of interactions and progression related to all donor relationships
- Provide executive assistance to the UK Country Manager and senior stakeholders in relation to scheduling supporter meetings, drafting communications and provision of information to underpin successful supporter engagement.
- Maintain strong knowledge and understanding of HPF’s programmes.
- Carry out administrative activities and other duties, as required, to maximise fundraising.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Experience developing relationships with and securing funding from high-net-worth individuals and other philanthropic donors.
- Entrepreneurial approach to relationship management and creating new fundraising initiatives.
- Experience in coordination and delivery of bespoke, high-quality events for influential audiences.
