Main Responsibilities:
- Overall account management responsibility for key partners including our flagship corporate partnership with Barclays.
- Delivering exceptional account management and meeting agreed partnership objectives on programme impact, income, communications, and engagement.
- Building strong networks and working relationships, both internally and externally, by successfully engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Project managing strategic activities, from inception to delivery, and delivering against shared and charity specific goals.
- Proactively seek opportunities to grow our partnerships, maximising income and engagement, and raising external awareness of Family Action’s brand and our work.
- Contributing to the development and success of the Corporate Partnerships Team, support cross-team projects and take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
- Minimum one year’s previous experience of working as a corporate fundraiser in the charity sector or equivalent account management experience in a similar field.
- Experience of working on high value, multi-faceted corporate partnerships which encompass stakeholder management, income generation, employee engagement and fundraising, and communications and campaigns.
- Experience of meeting and exceeding challenging income targets.
- Experience of engaging and influencing with senior stakeholders.

About the role:
Becoming a Homicide Caseworker is a unique opportunity to support families and individuals bereaved by and, eyewitness to murder and manslaughter. The National Homicide Service is a fast paced, specialist team funded directly by the Ministry of Justice to provide exceptional trauma informed practical and emotional support every day.
You Will:
- Work closely with the Major Crime Police Units, Senior Investigators and Family Liaison Officers, providing a pivotal role to support clients through the Criminal Justice System.
- Support clients by phone and Zoom as well as meeting families in their own homes or community, therefore you will be required to travel throughout the area.
- Complete needs assessments, and will coordinate and deliver a tailored package of support alongside our commissioned providers and other key stakeholders.
The role of Homicide Caseworker is varied, demanding and rewarding; no one day is the same and you will thrive on this challenge. You will need to be extremely organised and able work independently and as well as being a pro-active, supportive member of a team open to developing your personal resilience. We’re looking for a proactive and relationship-focused Philanthropy Administration Assistant to join our Philanthropy team, which is responsible for raising significant income from individuals, trusts, and foundations. More about the role
The Philanthropy Assistant will play a pivotal role by supporting the smooth running of the team’s income processing and stewardship activities, while also managing administrative and practical processes required to keep a busy remote working fundraising team running smoothly.
You will support the Philanthropy team by leading on ensuring fundraising collateral (leaflets, cards, letterheads, magazines etc.) are kept well stocked and available. As part of this you will oversee our donor mailing programmes, ensuring they are sent out on time and to agreed targets. You will also respond promptly to all incoming donor or stewardship enquiries and liaise with relationship owners where appropriate.
The Philanthropy Assistant will also support the Senior Philanthropy Manager and Head of Philanthropy in building and running results reports through our database.
About you
You will be an organised, resourceful individual with good time management skills and excellent attention to detail. You will work with a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion. It would be great if you also have an understanding of charitable individual giving programmes.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting the wider Philanthropy team by providing high-quality administrative and operational support. This includes income processing, accurate donor data management, and supporting compliance with data protection policies and fundraising best practice.
In this role you will enjoy being part of a small dynamic team whilst also working across various teams and building effective working relationships. You will have the ability to work well under pressure with excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
This role requires someone who is confident with CRM systems and data analysis, and who understands the importance of compliance and best practice in donor stewardship.
We’re looking for someone who’s organised, flexible, and ready to take on a busy but rewarding role. You’ll need to be a great communicator, whether it’s over the phone, by email, or face-to-face, and have no trouble juggling tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

About the role
We are seeking a transformational and visionary Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) to lead a national youth focused organisation, dedicated to promoting peer-led early intervention support for those in need. The successful candidate will be the first employed leader, propelling Youth4Youth from its robust foundations to the next stages of its development. The CEO will be responsible for turning our recently developed, yet ambitious, strategy into reality. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact from the outset.
Youth4Youth has secured funding to appoint a CEO for one year, with the expectation that the appointed leader will focus on securing long-term sustainable funding, thereby transitioning this position into a permanent role at the end of the fixed-term period. Additionally, the CEO will facilitate the appointment of further roles to support our mission as further funding becomes available.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chair of the Board and Trustees to establish and execute organisational strategy in alignment with the charity’s vision, mission, and objectives. This position offers the chance to advance an organisation with solid foundations, enhancing its reach and impact across the UK through a volunteer executive leadership team and a growing network of approximately 100 volunteers nationwide. The Role
As Warehouse Asssistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of Yorkshire Cancer Research’s warehouse. Supporting the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will focus on accurately picking, packing and preparing donated stock for distribution to retail outlets or beneficiaries.
This role provides an opportunity to make a real difference by supporting the flow of goods that ultimately attracts the funds needed to deliver life-saving research and services across Yorkshire.
Specifically, you will:
- Accurately pick stock from order lists that are sent to the Warehouse.
- Pack goods securely and appropriately for transport to Shops, Beneficiaries or Head Office.
- Pick, prepare and ship parcels for dispatch.
- Accept and put away deliveries from both external suppliers and our Donation Centre.
- Ensure stock is organised and accessible at all times.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Safely and efficiently load vans at the end of each day with the required stock.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Use equipment (eg. Trolleys, pallet jacks) safely and responsibly and in line with the training provided.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse employees and volunteers.
- Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Operations Manager regarding stock levels and issues.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To be Ideally educated to GCSE or equivalent, or able to demonstrate experience in a similar role at a similar level.
- To be familiar with Microsoft Office and the use of technology.
- To have experience of working across teams and supporting multiple stakeholders.
- The role includes manual handling duties, and therefore, you must be able to safely and confidently conduct manual handling up to the limits specified by the HSE.
- To be highly organised with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
- To have good attention to detail and accuracy.
- To be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- To be resilient, embrace change and evolution, and be able to encourage others to do likewise.
- To have good written and numerical skills.
- A willingness to complete our pre-employment checks (to be undertaken once the role is offered and accepted) which include:
o A check on your employment history by seeking two references.
o A check on your eligibility to work in the UK as per the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
